It was another warm sunny day at Sunny Shore College, a place located a few miles away from the beach and the place to get your schooling done. Jack was one of the many students enrolled into the school studying Graphic Design and Story Writing. He was hanging with his normal kooky friends that always joked around and acted like idiots just for laughs. "Dude seriously I need a girlfriend like bad I mean I have been single for way to long." One of Jacks friend said as Jack laughed at him. "Yeah dude you have barely been single for what 2 days after break your last girlfriend broke up with you." He said as the guys laughed along with Jack while his friend rolled his eyes. "Oh ha ha ha very funny Jack not my fault that she was using me and when I would not give her what she wants she just dump me on the spot." He said and the guys kept laughing. "Hey we tried to warn you about her but you did not listen to us." He said as she took a drink from his water and enjoyed the time outside of class. As the guys talked Jack started to look around the area to take in the other new students but a red hair girl caught his eyes and she looked familiar to him. "Hey guys I will catch you later." Jack said and the guys looked at him as he got up and walked away towards the girl. He walked towards the girl and once he got a better look he was shocked. "No way Evalena?!" He said shocked once he got close enough.

Evalena had just gotten off of the plane and put her bags in a taxi. She headed to sunny shore college by the beach. She smiled seeing it in the view and got out.
Grabbed her bags and stood near the entrance seeing students chattering and socializing she looked at her map to find her dorm. She applied for the music department and loved music.
Her long red hair hung down in a light purple dress she heard a voice and looks up backs up a little. "Um do I know you? How do you know my name?" She panics a little freaked out.

Jack looked at her weird when she asked 'Do I know You?" to him. "Evalena its me Jack we grew up together in the same neighborhood and went to the same school as kids, I was also your nextdoor neighbor." He said for he could not believe that Evalena for got about him. "You used to call me Jackie and I called you Eva for short." He said to her hoping she would remember who he was since they were practically almost inseparable as kids. "Come surely after moving you did not forget your childhood friend......Did you?" He asked her as he looked at her.

Evalena felt tears hearing him tell her about them as kids. She reached in her bags for the photos with names and description and found his read it then looked at him tears fell. "I'm sorry I don't remember you I have a photo that we are my sister made for me, I don't remember anything I lost my memory I'm sorry" she put her head in her hands fell to her knees crying softly hating that is another things she don't remember.

Jack looked at her shocked when he said that she had lost her memories as she looked at the photos with the descriptions on them on them. "Evalena calm down its ok I am not upset losing your memory that is tough I understand please don't cry." He said as he bent down to her level after she had fallen to her knees and he patted her head like he used to when they were growing up when she cried. "Everything will be alright I promise." He said and that was another thing he used to say when she was upset back then. "I am just glad I get to see my old friend that I have not seen since you and your family moved away." He said with a smile.

Evalena looked at him wiped her eyes "how will it be alright? I didn't even remember my family I don't remember you, my childhood nothing what do i do?" She asked softly sitting hugged her knees. She smiled at him "I don't remember moving did we say goodbye? How old were we?"

"Sometimes you have to make the best out of a bad situation that life throws at you, we may not like it but its better then being sad and upset for the rest of our lives." Jack started to explain to her. "Its like that old saying when life gives you Lemons you make Lemonade." He said with a goofy grin on his trying to be silly at the same time. He listened to her ask him a couple things and he was gladly to answer. "Well we did say good bye but we made it hard on our parents because we were crying so much and we were literally clung together in a hug for we didn't want to be separated and our parents had to pry us apart and I think it was when I was about to enter our second year of middle school and it would have been your first year when you moved, we are a year apart."

Evalena chuckled "your right but I don't know anyone and I have this feeling like I do know you like you said and would you mind showing me around and hanging with me unless you have friends then don't worry about it. " she giggled seeing his goofy grin and poked his chest. "We were best friends right? So we didn't want to be seperated were a year apart so I'm 20 from what my parents told me and so that make you 21?" She asked looking in his eyes with her blue ones trying to process everything.

Jack mainly smiled at her so she would not feel sad. "Ah I can hang with the guys whenever I want besides all we do is joke around with each other." He said to her and smiled at her more and laughed when she poked his chest. "Yeah we were best friends and you loved to poke me that was the only time I ran away from you is when you tried to poke me none stop one day." He said to her and laughed at the old memory. "I think you chased me until I somehow climbed into a tree." He said laughing still. "But yes I am 21 and your are 20 and normally we hated being separated so you got that much right so far."

Evalena smiled laughing hearing him talk about there childhood. "Wow I wish I could remember" she put her hands in her lap then notice some guys looking at them and got nervous. "J j ack w why t those guys starring" she scooted closer to him and to hide a little scared not knowing those are his friends. "Do people have roommates here in the dorms?"

Jack smiled when he heard her laugh and saw her smile. "There is my giggling old friend I missed hearing you laugh." He siad and looked where she was looking. "Oh those are my friends over there being idiots by staring at you and we are in the middle of the court yard so I guess thats another reason." He siad for he was oblivious at where they were. "Um so do but some don't but thats only if requested and if you know someone here you can request them being your roommate and then i will depend of if they don't have a roommate and they could just move in but if they do they have to wait until rooms and people can be rearrange." He siad telling her the whole process.

Evalena nodded relaxing and waved slightly at them smiled then looked at him. "Okay wow that was a lot you just said um so I don't have a roommate but if I want one I have to request one?" She asked rubbed her head confused a little. She stood and stretched grabbed her bags "will you show me? Please? What was a called you as a kid I'm sorry I forgot"

Jack laughed a little and ruffed her hair. "Ok first step take a deep breath and relax." He said to her as he grabbed her bags before she could. "And of course I will show you around and help you along the way." He said with a smile. "And yes if you want a roommate, if you know someone and and want to room with them, you fill out a request but that takes about a week." He said to her with a smile as he lead the way. "And you called me Jackie but if your not comfortable calling me that again you can just call me Jack." He said to her as he started showing her around campus.

Evalena fixed her hair "hey you messed my hair up" she chuckled. She started walkin with him "thanks for holding my bags you didn't have to" she smiled. Then looked around the campus at how big it is getting overwhelmed by it "wow big campus" she hesitated then asked him "j jack d do you have a roommate?" She was curious and wasn't ready to call him jack.

"Hey used to do it when we were younger for fun." Jack said while laughing a little. "And I wanted to hold your bags and make it a little easier for you since I am already moved into the dorms." He said and laughed at her comment about the campus. "Yeah its big had to carry a map with me and get the campus app to help me find my way around that app still comes in handy." He said as he showed her were the cafeteria was so she knew where she could buy her food and where the store was. When he heard her call him Jack he knew she was not ready to call him Jackie yet. "No I don't all my roommates moved out at how late I stay up working on my stuff." He said as they made it to her dorm. "What is your dorm number?"

"Even with a map I might get lost" evalena chuckled. She saw the cafe and store got a look at the surrounding to remember where it was. She stopped reached in her bag he was holding standing close in front of him grabbed the papers "um it room 101" she looked up at him looking at his eyes thinking he is handsome. "Are guys and girls aloud to share rooms? I'm just curious" she said softly.

Jack laughed a little at the lost thing. "Trust me once you start walking around the campus like a hundred times where you wall will be like second nature." He said and waited for her to tell him the dorm number and he nodded once he heard it and took her stuff to it as he lead the way. Once there he put the stuff down. "Hmm that is the special dorm for people who are relatives and occasional close friends but the rules are strict there, no sharing the same bed, respect the other person privacy, no sharing the same bathroom, and absolutely no rated R stuff if you know what I mean." He explain to her. "And you have to fill out a special request, both people have to go through an interview and wait for approval by the school Dean." He explained to her.

Evalena followed and walked in the room felt the bed and walls. She felt the desk and turned lookd at him "wow a long process they do know were adults right?" She chuckled and sat on the bed looked around the room. "So why do you stay up all night or late?" She looked in his eyes.

"Yeah we may be adults but we are adults with raging hormones but its only for the people who are not married if your married they don't care when you room with your husband/wife ." Jack explained to her and smiled. "But the rules are mainly for the ones that are 18 and 19 that barely just got out of high school thinking they can do whatever they want." He said and he watched her. "Oh just working on designs and writing story or game ideas I am getting in the graphic designing world and I want to create my own movie or games through it."

"That is true we do have raging hormones" Evalena chuckled layed on her bed scooted to the wall patted the bed for him to join her. "Wow way cool create a game or movie that is exciting!" She smiled looked at him "your girlfriend won't get mad if your hanging with me right?" She asked him.
