Age of Colonialism?

I find this period (anywhere from 1400-1750) to be really interesting so I was wondering if anyone would like to do this with me as a Rp?

I also have an interest in the Colonial Period....what RP ideas were thinking? There's plenty of themes/scenarios we can do from defending against native attacks to deep exploration and the such but I dunno what you fancy?

This sounds interesting. I think this could work as either a group arriving to the new world and trying to settle/survive/etc. and each player is one of the members of the expedition or each player is the leader of their own group (with the subordinates as NPCs or something like that) and has to settle a colony/explore the new world/interact with the natives/become a menace for the other settlements.

That actually sounds like an interesting idea if we all have our npc groups. Make things more larger scale. Still whatever ideas we throw in the cauldron I think it's best to have a small/short plot. Something simple enough to keep the RP going.

Well, what do you think of the ideas posted so far?

Yeah I like the idea of setting up a colony, ether with our own groups and factions or not, and surviving the harsh new world while fighting against or helping the natives.
