If you haven't heard that song, I recommend you do. Because this roleplay is based off of that.

You just came home from work, or maybe your visiting a sick relative on the other side of town. But you are riding a greyhound bus, it could be for many reasons, gas costs too much, don't feel like driving, it could be anything. It's a normal bus ride until a car suddenly vears in front of the bus and the bus does crash. Every goes unconcious.

When you wake up you see deformed creatures and people running around the wrecked bus. But there are also others, people are eating eachother, killing eachother even! It's terrible! Immediately you go to see if the others are alive, once that is done. You see if the bus is in working order, you have to get away before you catch what everyone else has. If it is working, you immediately leave.

How people are getting infected- In a nearby plant, there was a spill of radioactive sludge. The gases from it caused the workers to turn into hideous creatures. They moved into the city and quickly began spreading the infection through biting.

What happens if your infected- Nothing at first, but then a searing pain. Your body is slowly changing. It is mutating into a creature that no one has seen before, no, not zombies. Think of how in the first Resident Evil how Matt was scratched by the mutated creature. He began to turn into the same creature. (Only the process would be slower and more painful. Haha a referance to zombies. Though this is not zombies) The mutation will be like that.

This is the basic idea, but more will be put into the OOC. Its just a quick thing

Precisley why I said I would explain things more in the OOC. Welp. I'll most likely work on it now.

To answer your question, I might actually change that. I myself don't agree with it. I'll have it to where a nuclear plant had a spill, like radioactive sludge, and the gases from it affected the workers. Turned them to madmen, then into a mutant creature. The infection can be spread through being bit or going near the radioactive area.

The once workers move into the city and start attacking people.

yeeeahhh... I like apocalypse stuff, and i 'have' imagined that song inspiring an RP before XD hahah

but i'd recommend not going with a 'gaseous infection', unless it's the type that 'turns dormant' or whatever and leaves future infection up to previous victims... considering that the bus is not likely to be an air-tight environment afterall, it'd be impossible 'not' to already be infected.

Otherwise, yeah, i'm interested... i like playing with mutations XD i don't suppose there's a 'mutation without going mind fuck insane' is there? hahah

I already changed it. I changed it to have the infection spread through biting.

And i mean kindof like, designing the mutation thing so that certain people may stand a chance of holding onto 'themelves'... like maybe the 'crazy mutants' go crazy because they just can't take the transformation and 'snap'... hell, there's people who turn into psycho murderers because their nose gets made crooked...

hrm, basically, ya know, a will power thing, not that it'll mean anyone knows ahead of time that they're buddy isn't going to eat them alive XD

You have a point. But even if there is a will power part involved, the hunger will become to overwhelming. I'm making the OOC now because I really want to have everything explained in one post.

heheheh, nothing says they wouldn't have to find some method to cope with that big mind crippling issue XD but it's a moot point, depends if such a thing actually happens later on XD
