I'd advise you to listen to this song. This roleplay is based off of that.

You just came home from work, or maybe your visiting a sick relative on the other side of town. But you are riding a greyhound bus, it could be for many reasons, gas costs too much, don't feel like driving, it could be anything. It's a normal bus ride until a car suddenly vears in front of the bus and the bus does crash. Every goes unconcious. 

When you wake up you see deformed creatures and people running around the wrecked bus. But there are also others, people are eating eachother, killing eachother even! It's terrible! Immediately you go to see if the others are alive, once that is done. You see if the bus is in working order, you have to get away before you catch what everyone else has. If it is working, you immediately leave.

How people are getting infected- In a nearby plant, there was a spill of radioactive sludge. The gases from it caused the workers to turn into hideous creatures. They moved into the city and quickly began spreading the infection through biting. If you are near the radioactive area, you are immediately infected.

Mutants 101- Mutants are fast, but a human is still able to escape on foot. A mutant can become easily distracted due to the fact that they are brainless and dead. Their brain cells have died out. To sustain life, they must eat. Constantly. It is known that the Mutants may still have their self control and will, but they have always turned out to eat in the end. The hunger is too strong.
Their appearance can range from a eight legged spider-like creature, to a sludge like monster.

How to kill a Mutant- Decapitation, Burning, Pierce their Heart, yes even though they are dead they have hearts, salt, salt burns them and enough can kill them, that is all the known ways as for the moment.

Humans guide to Mutants- Mutants hate fire. Best way to kill them is with fire. Decapitation works. Piercing their heart works too. But stock up on salt. Salt burns the Mutants.

Throughout the roleplay things will be revealed on why the plant had the radioactive sludge, what actually happend, and maybe even a cure. *wink wink*

Description: Feisty. Outgoing. Happy-Go-Lucky. Sarcastic. Adventurous. Goofy.

Biography: Iris was born of Italian descent into a lower class family. Her mother and father were both unemployed, and she never had quite the easiest time keeping a job growing up. She is the youngest of 3 children; her two older brothers: Ian and Ivan. Twins, and both quite the troublemakers. Growing up Iris spent a lot of her time with her brothers, following them around like a lost puppy. They protected and kept her safe, but also brought her into the world of vices while mom and dad were away trying to find work, or sleeping soundly in bed after a night of partying.

A party here and there, a drink here and there to match. Iris couldn't keep track of her days, her nights, or the faces of the people she slept with, and to be honest she almost didn't care. There wasn't too many memories of that night besides the rancid taste of vomit in her mouth and the gaping gash on her forehead when she crashed into a truck. She was lucky no one was killed, but she did face the consequences. Her license was suspended and she was given enough community service hours to last a life time. The bus was her only means of transportation these days, and she used it quite often.

Description: Insane, paranoid, murderous, and intelligent

Mutant Appearance

Bio: Locked up in her young teens into an insane asylum when it was discovered she had schizophrenia, Rith slowly went crazy even further inside the walls of the asylum. Her illusions only grew worse, her fear grew. It got to the point she wouldn't speak and would sit for days drawing monsters over and over again, foregoing eating and doing basic life necessities. Some of the orderlies granted her a gas mask, which calmed her down when she was in the pinnacle of paranoia, and she has used it since. When the Apocalypse hit she escaped, running onto the streets. She wiggled her way to let her straight jackets arms be loose, put on her gas mask and left to the streets, finally free of her prison and of the close room full of monsters she was always within.

Rith sat in her room, drawing a picture. Dark circles ringed her eyes, she hadn't slept in 28 hours. As she drew, she sang.
"The itsy bitsy spider.... walked up the water spout...." She was shaking. The spider monster loomed over her, and her lips quivered. "Down came the rain and ...eheh.... washed the spider.... out..." She swallowed hard, feeling its venomous fangs poke into her neck, ready to devour her. "Out came the sun.... to dry up all the rain... " Millions of tiny spiders crawled up her, everywhere. She choked and started to cry as they went into her mouth. "And the itsy... bitsy spider...."

When the orderlies found her she was in the middle of a seizure with foam coming from her mouth.
