Ten years ago, public advertisement was banned. Any and all personal advertisements are considered illegal. Today, the government controls the media, keeping society safe from negative influences. However, this system makes it all but impossible for small businesses to get customers. Artists have no work, and careers in graphic design are non-existent unless you're hired by the government.
This is where the Sprayers come in.
Graffiti has become the new form of advertisement. A team of Sprayers has one job, painting advertisements for those who hire them. The work is highly illegal, but the pay is good. It has to be. Any Sprayer out after curfew is risking their life and future to paint.
This RP will focus on a new team of Sprayers, just starting up and finding their way into the business. However, I'm hoping for a fairly broad array of characters. I'm picturing the city this takes place in as almost Orwellian. Heavy surveillance, CCTV cameras everywhere, severe punishment for lawbreakers. Possible character roles could include law enforcement officers and government officials, even friends or family of Sprayers, in addition to the Sprayers themselves. It would be really interesting to see what would happen if a law enforcement officer was forced to arrest someone they knew, eh?
