Information:
For many centuries, there existed hidden tension between the two rulers of the underworld. Both brothers having come into power after their father had become "ill", the young demons put on a friendly air when in the same room, but are very much at odds seated in their opposing throne rooms. Born to the once most powerful demon in the underworld, the dark princes breathe fear and chaos, inhale power, and feed off weakness. The sheer authority their dark eyes behold is enough to cause any demon to bow to them. Though the brothers are rarely ever seen in person in the underworld, their faces are always immediately recognizable. No one dare rebel against them.
The rumors started over a hundred years ago, of the brothers supposedly building up armies to intimidate each other. It was once thought of as a playful quarrel, but then morphed into something serious. Not only had the brothers began to use their "armies" to interfere with the laws of the underworld, the laws they were meant to enforce, but they had also began to interfere with the lives of the humans above.
The humans on Earth are unaware that some roaming the streets aren't as they appear to be, and who would believe that there are demons running a mock in his or her own city? In their eyes, these demons are nothing worse than nuisances, dangerous gangs at the most. These demons don't exactly blend into society, but they're to keep the title of a human until their leader tells them otherwise.
OBJECTIVE:
There isn't a detailed plan of what will happen in the roleplay as of yet. I'm thinking that if it gets enough interest, I'll simply quirk a few things, throw in some twists and turns here and there and let you guys do what you want. This does not mean that I won't be involved in the story, as I'll be playing a prince and also a few other NPCs. I'm also considering letting someone else play the other prince, but I'd most likely want a writing sample before that. Not looking for something special, just someone that can write atleast two decent paragraphs.
This is the basic plan:
1. We will be playing the members of each "gang"
2. Each gang member will follow the orders of their prince
3. Each gang member is allowed to travel back and forth between modern-day Earth and the underworld
4. By choosing numbers, the side you will be on is up to fate
5. Let's try to work up some drama between each side
6. Don't get caught by the police, the ill king, or any other form of authority
7. Powers used are expected to be kept to a minimum
