I am no longer actively updating this list. Anything suggested from October, 2014 and onward could very well be missing.
Due to the amount of repeatedly requested features, I've compiled a list of everything requested so far in this section of the forum that has not already been implemented, as well as Mahz's responses (if any) to these requests. If items on the list have a line giving Mahz's response then he has responded to them somewhere in the Feature Request section; if they lack such a line he has not responded to them here. Hopefully this will lessen clutter in this forum section, spread information to the curious masses, and be of use Mahz as a sort of to-do list.
Thanks and credit to Ellri for doing the legwork of making the list format not be a huge mess of hyperlinked text and organizing it by categories, which I'd been procrastinating on doing for a long time.

Something to make a thread creator's posts stand out in their thread
Mahz response: Mahz said this is a good idea, perhaps a ribbon on the upper right corner of the post, especially for when people have mod-like powers over their own threads.
GM powers to restrict who can post in their RP
Mahz response: Mahz favors a whitelist (only approved people can post in your thread) over a blacklist (ban specific users from posting in your thread), and it seems this will be a feature in the future.
Thread rating system.
Reputation or like/dislike systems.
Mahz response: Mahz only likes upvote-only systems that don't keep track of total points anywhere.
Go to last unread post function.
Allow users to edit their thread titles.
Polls.
Topic descriptions and thread view count display.
In-thread keyword search feature.
Customizable thread/post backgrounds.
Mahz response: It's not a feature.

Add a default Character Sheet tab.

Ability to create custom topic tabs
Mahz response: Mahz likes this idea. Its on his to-do list.
Add tabs to the bottom of the page too so we don't have to scroll all the way to the top to switch.
Button or link to jump to the last page of another tab, rather than always having to go to the first page upon switching topic tab.
Ability to delete and rename default RP thread tabs.
Comments tab for topics. Less formal than the OoC tab and open for non-participants to comment within.
Mahz reaction: He likes the idea, but fears tab overload. Wants to test it first.

Have PM button show new PMs rather than sum total of PMs.
Mahz response: This will be fixed once Mahz makes the forum recognize read vs. unread posts and threads.
Ability to delete private convos
Mahz response: Read the above linked thread for detailed answers. It's complex due to the system in place, but Mahz made it clear that he wants people to be able to "delete" private convos by leaving them without it also being deleted for any other active participants.
Private message tracking.
Add/remove people from Private Message Conversations. Including option to display old posts in it to new convo members.
An option to reverse the post display order.

Noteworthy things that weren't really requests:
Are previously permabanned users being allowed to return? - Yep, with a clean slate.
Automatic post merging will probably not be implemented here. Enjoy your new found freedom to double post, or curse your mistaken double posts until you get used to the new paradigm of no post merging.
Mahz wants to make Off-Topic-only bans a thing in the future.
Username change requests will be ending soon. "Soon" has now passed and username change requests are being denied.
