[IC] Quae Academy ( The school for mastering elements )

Every new student has been gathered inside a large cafeteria, around you are the sounds of mewing, yipping, chirping, along with the occasional hiss and ribbit. In the very front is a raised stage with several chairs filled with people there was only two seats empty.

A woman with brunette hair and wire glasses walked to the podium in the center of the stage. She looked around at all the student and familiars as they talked and yelled causing a roar of different voices. She sighed to herself then looked back to make sure the principal was ready to address the students. “Can I have your attention please. Hello my name it Vice Principal Flockheart and may I welcome you to Quae Academy. I hope you will enjoy your time here, and now for a special man. May I present the Principal of the school Mr. Gunlock.” The woman said then clapped as she walked back and took her seat.

Soon a tall 6’ 3” man with snow white hair, and wire glasses appears from off the left part of the stage. He walks flawlessly with a book in hand to the podium. He sets the book down, and looks out over the crowd of new students. His body gesture suggests he’s bored though in his eyes betrays a spark of intrigue, he coughs once to clear his throat before he begins to speak, his voice was deep and calm.

“Thank you Vice Principal Flockheart for my pleasant introduction,” Principle Gunlock said. Turning only slightly towards the vice principal, before turning back to the students. Giving them his full attention.

“Welcome new students to the start of the journey that will take twists, and turns as you work to master your elements. These teachers behind me will be your guide on your new adventure. Listen to them, and allow them to help you. For they have sat where you are sitting today, worked through the dangers, and trials that you will face.
As you are all probably already aware your familiars have spoken to you, or in some way communicated with you. This is because your souls are now joined together, a glorious act that will last throughout your life, and after. These familiars will grow as you grow in strength as your strength is each others, and so too are your lives. For if one life comes to an end, so too does the other. So take good care of your familiars, and lean on them when you need strength. But, do not neglect to gather friends as well. As alone you are only so strong, but together with others you can move mountains, create tidal waves, control storms, and touch the stars…. Umm ahem I’m afraid I’ve gotten a bit carried away. Where was I? Hmm… Ah yes! Friends, and allies for the future. Look around you amongst the faces you see some may be your greatest allies. While others may be great rivals who will help you to get stronger by testing your limits.

Your classes will consist of the basic education which most schools have. As to ensure you are able to continue your education onwards towards college should the desire or need arise. But, most importantly this school will teach you the history of magic, and how your elemental power can be used in creative and safe ways with chemistry. Along with most importantly how to take proper care of your familiars. As to ensure they are, along with remain happy and healthy.

I’ve held your ears long enough please exit out those doors, and you will see tables lined up with teachers that will be passing out yellow envelopes. Inside is your class schedule, Room number and key, a booklet of Academy rules and code of conduct, along with a map of the Academies campus. Now I will let Miss. Flockheart excuse you in an orderly manner,” Principle Gunlock finished the a slight bow of his head with a hand over his heart.

He then took his book, and walked away while reading it once more avoiding anything that was in the way.

[Titan]

Miss. Flockheart sighed as she got up and slowly walked to the podium her high heeled shoes resounded through the quite cafeteria. She got to the podium and looked out over the students again. “All right I am going to say a row number and you are to stand up and go to the tables outside the doors. There are letters that correlate with the first letter of your first name. Each will table will have two lines once you get to it. I would like to have all the girls to the left, and all the boys to the right. Please give your last name to the teachers at the tables.” She then looked around again then checked to see if they were ready out at the table. She smiled slightly before giving the children her attention again.

“Ok now I would like for your patience in this time so lets get this started. All students who are in row one please stand up and go out to the table and receive your packets.” She said then watched as some students stood up and left with their familiars.

[Epiphany]

Amelia rose from her seat, her familiar Beelzebub sat on her shoulder. It was only this morning since the school gave it to her, and so far there was no trouble. He was quiet that's for sure, he had the occasional gurgles of joy, somewhat resembling a child. It was rather cute.

She sauntered over to the tables that were located outside of the auditorium. "Smally, Amelia." She murmured, lightly tapping her fingers on the table as she waited patiently for the supposed envelope.
"Here you are," The woman slid the envelope across and smiled, "Welcome to Quae Academy."
"Thank you." Amelia nodded her head lightly and walked off, allowing the next student to acquire their papers. She ripped open the yellow envelope, checking to see if all of the needed items were inside. "I guess now we can check out our room, right Beelzebub?" She cooed lightly at the small dragon, though her happy mood changed drastically as she clenched the envelope in her hand, her grip growing tighter. "We'll show these peasants! We'll show them all."

The petite girl was now caught in the reassesses of mind. She laughed, and with her free hand she flipped her braids over her shoulders Some students from afar would've thought she was slightly deranged as she stood there babbling like an idiot.

[Yog Sothoth]

Vladimir was seated at a table in the cafeteria and he was really excited to be learning how to control his powers. he had Malkor laying on the floor under the table. he listened to the speech by the heads of the school, and followed the other students out of the cafeteria and to the room with the tables where their teachers would give them the envelopes with their class schedule.

after he got his envelope, he smiled at his familiar and was ready to begin on practicing his blood abilities. he would try to do his best and become as strong as possible. he was also curious to see the other students in action, and wondered what the other elemental abilities looked like. he had a feeling that this school year would be very interesting.

[Dahlia Hawthorne]

Azami did no attempts to listen to the opening ceremony, she had better things to do. For instance, her familiar, Señora Dango, that was rapped up in a tiny blanket, being rocked back and forth. It didn't seem to have much energy, so it was soundly sleeping. Azami was highly irritated by the loud blabbers of the students, and she was worried that Señora Dango would wake up suddenly, even though it didn't seem to have ears. It was so... cute, Azami couldn't help but feel like a mother to this thing. A very violent, over protective mother.

She slowly stood up to go get into line, and looked down when she heard a yawn. It had appeared Señora Dango had awoken. She looked down at the creature and a small smile made its way to her lips. It made a series of noises that sounded like that of a baby, and she lifted an eyebrow. "...Hi" she muttered, looking down at the creature. It let out a giggle, and Azami smiled a bit wider. Then she wiped that stupid look off her face. "Lets go get into line Señora" she monotoned as she went into line. The lady looked at Azami and Señora Dango and smiled, to which Azami replied with a sharp glare. "Ichizo, Azami" she spat out. The lady frowned and after digging through handed her an envelope.

"Come on Señora, lets go find somewhere quiet to sit so you can keep sleeping and I can figure out what room we have" she smirked down at the pink creature, who giggled again in response. Where was the sound coming from exactly? It didn't appear to have a mouth.

[Silph]

Rei'vaj stood up once the row he was in was called. He followed the crowd unfocused, instead focused on the small 5-6 inch bird perched on his index finger. He held his hand just in front of his chest. The small bird was looking back at him with his head cocked.

"Do you understand me?"

By now Rei'vaj was standing on the side of the cafeteria. Done with his chat, he walked over to the table marked Z. The teacher seated there had maybe 20 packets. "Zoldyck" he stated to the teacher. The teacher turned to the folders, splayed them out, picked one, and passed it to Rei'vaj. Rei'vaj took it, with a face as equally bored as the teacher's. By now his bird had moved to his shoulder, cocking his head at the folder. Rei'vaj opened the the folder and looked for what was immediately relevant. Pulling out the campus map and the paper containing his living arrangements, seeing them he chuckled. Third floor: room 324 and he had a roommate Paul Pierce.

What is it?

We have a roommate.

Map in hand he headed towards his room.

Luna got up after listening to the opening ceremony, and walked out, heading into the room with the teachers with the envelopes. On her shoulder lay a sleeping Zariana, in such an awkward position that Luna had to keep on making sure that she was still there and had not fallen off of the shoulder. After one such check, Luna smiled, and walked up to a teacher at a table. "Feryana, Luna." She said, smiling even more at the teacher, who smiled back and gave her an envelope. Luna turned and walked away, looking at the map. "So, where are we going to go?" She whispered to herself. "Dorms. I wanna check my room." Luna started to walk quickly to her room.

Rei'vaj arrived at his room, primed to meet his roommate. Finding none, he looked at the room. Decently large, with two beds and its own bathroom.

What?

Bathrooms aren't standard INSIDE a dorm room.

Walking around the room, he observed two beds , dressers, small closets, and nightstands, one on each side of the room with a large bay window between them. With enough room to wrestle in the middle of the room still, it was a very well designed layout. He lay on the bed leaving his door open. Closing his eyes he decided to take a short nap.

Giuseppe sat with Aria perched on his arm, listening to the speech being given. After it was over, which was fairly quickly, Giuseppe waited until his row was dismissed. In the meantime, he would play with Aria a little bit, smiling. It was odd, because the people who had introduced them had said that she was almost a newborn, but she was bigger than any bird he'd ever seen, fully grown! Then again, Aria is a member of a magical species of birds, called Winged Tempests. He thought it was so cool, that Aria was his Familiar. Their lives are bound together for eternity, and if one of them dies, they both die.

In the middle of his playing with Aria, Giuseppe heard his row being called. He would stop playing with Aria for now and stand, taking his guitar case and putting it around his shoulder. He then would get his luggage bag and carry it in hand, walking out of the lunchroom and to where they were being given their basic necessities. "Alighieri, Giuseppe," he said to the woman who was supposed to bestow the package to him. "Oh, like Dante? Author of the Divine Comedy?" This made Giuseppe grin and nod. "Durante degli Alighieri, sì." When the woman handed him the package, more like an envelope, Giuseppe said, "Grazie mille!" And would step away so the next person in line could get theirs.

When Giuseppe found a comfortable place to stand, he set his luggage bag down and would move Aria to his shoulder before opening the envelope. Inside was a map, room key, pamphlet, and et cetera. Giuseppe smiled and would reach over his shoulder, petting Aria affectionately. Giuseppe was an affectionate, sweet person. He liked being nice to people. It made others, and himself, all very happy. "Where should we go first?," he asked Aria, anticipating a reply, oddly. It was even more odd when he received a reply, a voice inside of his head. "I want to go to the room," she said. Giuseppe would put two and two together and realized that it was Aria. He nodded and would walk to their room, up a flight of stairs to the correct floor.

Upon entry, Giuseppe would look around and smile. It was fairly big, bigger than his bedroom back home. He just hoped he would not get lost in it on his first day. He trusted his room navigation skills, though. He would walk over to the beds, seeing he had a roommate who would most likely be here soon. As courtesy, he would let his roommate, who was named Eli, as said by the package, pick which side he wanted, setting his luggage down in a safe place. He would then take a look around. he noticed that there was a bathroom, which was really nice and clean, as well as convenient. Giuseppe liked being squeaky clean. After his little mini-tour, he would take a seat somewhere and play with Aria more.

Annie had tried to pay attention to the speech that was given to the students, but with Koda, her familiar, jumping around and nibbled on her clothes for attention, it was really hard to focus. Ashe giggled quietly but then stopped, looking at the Kitsune seriously. "Would you please calm down? I'm trying to pay attention..!" She whispered to him.
"Alright. Sorry, Sis."
Annie blushed slightly. "Please don't call me that." She whispered again before turning her attention back to the speech.

After her row was called and she had received her envelope and her other things that came along with it, she grabbed her things and started heading towards her dorm, which she had to share with another girl named Luna Feryana. She smiled at the thought of having a roommate and a possible friend.
"Hey Sis, can we go look around this place??"
Annie blushed again and sighed. "Yeah, I guess." She finally managed to say, seeing no point to tell Koda to stop calling her "Sis". She then entered her dorm, putting her stuff next to the doorway and grabbed her small messenger bag, putting her envelope and other things inside.

Annie walked down the hall, looking around curiously as Koda trotted ahead of her, sniffing some doors to various dorms. "Koda, stop smelling doors..." Annie pleaded, trying not to laugh as the Kitsune poked his nose through a crack under a certain door.

Luna entered her room, and her stuff under one of the two beds in the room. The room looked quite nice, which pleased Luna. After a quick look around the room, she put Zariana under the covers of her bed, and retreated to the bathroom. As she exited the bathroom minutes later, she heard the dorm's door close, which woke Zariana from her slumber. The pup's head popped out from under the blankets, and looked at Luna with confused eyes.
"Hey, who was that? Where are we?" Zariana asked.
"I have no idea who that was, and we are in our dorm. I guess that'd be our roommate." Luna replies, walking to the door and discovering some things that did not belong to her. The girl shrugged, and sat down on her bed, picking Zariana up and cuddling her.

[Titan]

Jason sighed when the speech was over then looked at Thanatos. "This is going to be interesting" he said before getting up and heading to the doors with his things in his right hand. The blackish red pup looked around and let out a puff of smoke then sniffed the air.
There is a lot of potential but they will never beat you boss Thanatos said in Jason's head causing the boy to sigh.
"Why do you call me boss?" He asked the pup as he waited in line to get his envelope.
Because you are the boss Thanatos said then did a shrugging motion.
Soon Jason was the next person in line "Blades, Jason" he said and smiled as the woman smiled and got his envelope.
"Have a good time" the woman said and Jason nodded as he took the envelope and walked a little ways away. He opened the envelope and looked through the contents and pulled out the map. "A fire pit? That must be where I will train my fire abilities" he said. Then took out his room key card and smiled. "Lets get settled in" he said.
I like this idea Thanatos said and laid down yawning a bit.

Eli had bowed respectfully at the teacher who had provided him with his items. He was both scared and happy at the same time. Eli was glad to know he was going to learn how use and control his power. However, he was super shy around other people..this had scared him.but another thing that scared him was..what if he was unable to control his power? what if something goes wrong and he had to leave the school? Eli tried his best not to think the horrible out comes if he manged to screw something up." All you have to do Eli is stay calm and get through the classes...i really don't need friends..do i?" the white haired boy looked down at his hyper griffin, who was sniffing and jumping around like little puppy. Seeing him made Eli feel at ease."Your like a puppy.." he chuckled as he looked at his paper." I wonder who my roommate is...geez i'm so nervous."

When Blanca's row was called she waited for a while before getting up to go to the tables. Her manticore cub she'd named Lenio was sleeping soundly nestled in his masters arms. Blanca had fitted him with a collar which was actually a coutur choker she'd been wearing as soon as she'd seen him. Lenio's tiny left wing was outstretched slightly over Blanca's outer arm while his equally tiny right wing was tucked against his body. While his tail was laying against her inner forearm. As they approached the teacher sitting at the table Blanca said her name.
"Blanca Masterson," she said in a commanding voice that was natural to her.
She got her envelope, and gently set her cub to sit on her shoulder as she opened it. Lenio slumped a bit purring as he woke up to nuzzle into his masters cheek.

"Good morning to you too sunshine," she said.
Lenio opened up a part of Blanca that she didn't even know she had. It was a caring maternal instinct, but it was also so much more then that.
She looked at her key card, and her packet of information mostly just her room number. Though when she saw she had a roommate her expression soured slightly.
"Great I got some riff raft as a roommate," she said sighing.
She made her way towards her room in hopes of being able to lay claim to what was rightfully hers.

[Epiphany]

The two sauntered to the dormitory, Beelzebub was staring around at the various sights, though his attention span was extremely poor, as soon as he saw the flower that hung from his head, immediately he pawed at it while trying to maintain balance on Amelia's shoulder.

The petite redhead finally made it to the dormitory, and to her surprise she had a 'roomie'. The door was slightly opened so she allowed herself in. "You must be Blanca? Your name was on the door next to mine..." She placed a hand on her chest and scoffed. "You get exactly half of this room, no more no less! I refuse to share with peasants!"

[Owlriel]

"Excuse you? Your clothes are of low quality, and your hair is a mess. Obviously having never seen a hairdresser of renown in your life. The peasant here is you my dear oblivious girl. You will get a quarter of the room no more. I need the room to put all my things, whith just one article of clothing being more expensive then anything you own," Blanca said crossing her arms.

She was fully garbed in fine clothing from several world famous designers, some articles were even emblazoned with actual diamonds, and other rare gems.
"Don't even think about touching anything of mine with your disgusting hands," Blanca said.
Lenio yawned as he looked at the small dragon lazily from his perch upon Blanca's shoulder. He then licked Blanca's cheek distracting her from her tangent.
"Aww Lenio, Whose a cute wittle manticore? You are, yes you are," she said putting Lenio in her arms.
She looked back at Amelia with disgust, and walked to her bags. After setting Lenio down on the bed. She then began to work on unpacking though sighed slightly as it was taking forever, and she wasn't used to this sort of work.
"Okay I'm being contradictory today. I'll give you 357 pounds to unpack my things for me,"'Blanca said pulling out a fine looking wallet.

[Epiphany]

"I didn't know I was sharing a room with a harpy!" Amelia let out a long laugh and flipped we braids over her shoulder, "I'll have you know that these clothes were made by my loving mother, something that you could never have! And your probably never had the love of your mother either!" She scoffed and went to her side of the room. "I'm sorry, I don't touch things that devils touch! I just want half of the room, that is all."
She began unpacking her things, revealing thousands of handmade clothes, mostly consisting of lace dresses her mother made for her.

Beelzebub sat on the bed, drooling like a toddler.

[Owlriel]

"Actually a majority of these clothes were designed by my mother. Wait some of that looks really good, my mom might be interested. She also runs a famous fashion magazine, and helps up an coming designers. I think your mom might have what it takes..... I mean.... Umm.... STAY ON YOUR HALF OF THE ROOM," Blanca said.
She blushed as she turned away to start putting her clothes away ducking behind her bed, and soon she began to cry. As she was incredibly flustered, and didn't know what to do. She'd never had any interactions with other people before, she didn't really know how to act or what to do. Lenio climbed up to sit on her head purring ontop of her head to help make Blanca feel better.

[Epiphany]

Amelia paused and turned around, she was slightly curious as to why she was sobbing, but she didn't want to show her emotions. She turned back around and scoffed, "What's wrong?" She attempted to speak in monotone, but a slight hint of worry slithered out.
She resumed folding and putting clothes away.
Beelzebub was close to falling asleep, but with a slight shake of his head, his energy returned to him. The little dragon let out a coo of happiness, he was still rather ignorant to the world and didn't know that there was a sad atmosphere in the room. The dragon appeared to be constantly amused, which was an infant like phase that will most likely pass.

"Your right... My mom doesn't care about me nor my dad. I'm always alone, but what do you care. It's not like you have my problems," Blanca said.
Lenio was soon asleep again resting on top of Blanca's head. Blanca gently took Lenio off, and stood up setting the cub on a pillow. Before she began to put her clothes away again she shook her head.
"Just forget it," Blanca said.
