This RP is based on Michael Grant's "Gone" series, however you don't need to have read the books to join in on the book.
Here is a very quick primer. Basically in the small town of Perdido Beach everyone over the age of 16 suddenly disappears. No flash of light no puff of smoke they just cease to exist. Upon further examination (and I'm just gonna get this out of the way to avoid complications.) there appears to be a metallic dome around the town and at the epicenter is the nuclear power plant. From the power plant the dome is 10 miles away in every direction.
However this isn't the only odd thing that's happening. Animals and even the kids who are trapped under FE some themselves are beginning to change and mutate. Some have said they've seen flying snakes and glowing spiders. There even rumor that some kids are gaining powers or having their body getting morphed.
There are two "Starting locations" that is the school in Perdido Beach and Coates Academy, which is a school reserved for the more troublesome student. I'll post the lay out of the town and surrounding area when I'm at my computer.
