Crossover RP brainstorming

[Primal Conundrum]

I'm really, really thirsty for an AU Crossover RP, where we take existing characters and put a weird spin on them.

The last few times I've made one of these though, I've realized that the ideas I had for story / setting was too much tailored to me specifically, and while it would make a great tabletop game to be played using GURPS, it works not as well for forum rp.

To that end, I'm turning to you, my potential players!

What kind of stuff would you want to see in an AU Crossover RP? Setting, plot, etc!

Im interested, how about the characters are a crew on a space ship.

Well if your going with an AU crossover RP, have some way for the characters to end up in location X from their Alternate Universe, and go from there.
I would quite like the idea of a Space ship, but that wouldn't work for the characters being the crew, given the fact that people want to be ORIGINAL with their AU characters, instead of making them the same character, just outfit for a space sip crew.

What it depends on is the type of crossover your going for (other than AU)

For example Naruto vampire AU or. RWBY steampunk...basically..

Ruby from the steampunk AU is the same but from another world/setting so to speak. Same name but not the same personality or role...hope this helps
