One day, you wake up in a room that isn't your own. The door is locked, there are no windows, and the only sources of light are a a bare bulb hanging from the ceiling, and the glow of a CRT Screen, currently displaying some large set of green text. There don't seem to be any peripherals save for a keyboard, and whatever it's connected to, is not currently in the room. It all looks rather primitive, honestly.
You are wearing a white jumpsuit, socks, and boots, along with whatever underwear you were wearing when you last went to bed.
The room itself is rather spartan, with no decorations save for a brand new coat of white paint. The bed is a bunk bed with a metal frame, somewhat like the kind you'd find in a barracks. There is a toilet and sink in the corner, with running water, and a metal table with some stationary and a ballpoint pen. An uncomfortable looking metal chair is there to match the table.
Turning your attention to the Monitor, you read what seems to be a briefing of some sort.

Hello, and welcome to Terminal. Despite the name, it does not involve the terminal quite so much, no knowledge of CLI is required to succeed, and most commands will be some physical action rather than computer stuff. You ought to send in commands via PM as secrecy is important to your success. Preface all commands with the $ sign.
Your success is also ultimately and arbitrarily decided by me, but I'll try to be fair and might even roll dice or something. Don't question it, and don't worry too much about it.
I've got some cryptic bullshit going on already, so no further explanation will be given to keep with the theme.
