Hello. I’m Ainmire. How do you do? After browsing through much of the 1x1 section and seeing threads for a lot of potential partners I’ve come to the conclusion that I am either far too particular or mildly blind. I wouldn’t rule the possibility of both out just yet, either. But basically I could very much use a couple more RPs, 1x1’s preferred. So without further ado I present you with a very pretentious sounding set of rules.
Interests
Disclaimer: I don’t much like playing things set in the modern time and would much prefer the recent past, the 1990s or early 2000s, for example.
Fantasy – Including most of its subgenres (i.e. Modern Fantasy, Low Fantasy). Right now a small group of adventurers in a classic sword-n-sorcery type of world sounds like it could be fun. Something with some action, adventure, and a generally light-hearted vibe sounds quite appealing in general. But if pleasant isn’t doing it for you we can just go with hardened Orc warriors who have lost their entire clan to the hate of humans and are now seeking revenge on by viciously slaughtering everyone. Having Wizards in space also sounds fun. Of course you can always suggest something if none of this appeals.
Historical – European, Victorian England, Gaelic, Viking, Robin Hood, China, Japan (I’m most familiar with Sengoku/Meiji), Ancient Rome, 1920s/1930s America, Actual Medieval, Ancient Egypt (pick a time period), etc. If you have suggestions make them. I’m not against doing my research for something that could be a lot of fun.
Other – (I’m not always the best at placing genres, so this is for everything else/blending) Serial Killers (not of the killer x victim variety), Arthurian Legend, Norse Mythology-based, Greek Myth-based, something gritty and modern (perhaps with gangs?), Tolkien-esque, and Fire Emblem. I do not doubt there are other things which I would be quite interested in doing, so suggest away.

- I write at advanced and I would prefer you do to. I’m not asking you to write perfectly, but the better your posts the more inspiration and motivation I’ll have to reply. Frequent mistakes, on the other hand, cause me to lose interest quite quickly. With regards to the lengths of my posts I have no issue writing around three paragraphs per character per reply. I can often write a good deal more (especially if you’re writing more) but there may also be a time or two when I write less.
- I don’t write sex. It can happen, characters can talk about it, but I’m not going to write it. Otherwise I don’t have much for limits in regard to "graphic" things. Violence is fine. Language is fine. Mature themes. And so on. If you have limits or questions just ask.
- I prefer to play at least two characters within a single RP. I wouldn’t mind upping that a bit either. However, as far as main every-post characters go I’d rather not exceed six. In addition to these I will likely play a variety of NPCs and side characters. Finally, I’m not too keen on sharing NPCs.
- Romance is fine within the story but I’d rather not have it be the story. On that note, for those who care, I do play characters of all genders and orientations with little preference. The main exception to this would be if we’re not doubling and playing a heterosexual relationship—I’d rather play the male. I also don’t mind a RP with non-romantic interactions of various kinds. Basically if it’s to your tastes I don’t mind including it but if it’s not to your taste I don’t mind excluding it.
- If there is anything else of exceptional importance which I have not yet mentioned then feel free to ask me whatever question you might have.
