Character Sheet (Template Here)
Name:
Age:
Physical Description:
It's probably best to actually describe the character if you are going to rely on a picture, or you can
do without the picture if you like, but definitely describe.

Character History:
Explain how your character got there -- no 'the story will come out in RP' lines, please -- I want a feel for where your character is coming from. Feel free to work up names and places and so forth. Prominent battles, notable engagements and so forth. The stuff that made your character what he is.

Psychological Profile:
An idea of how the character thinks and so forth; should be linked to the history.

Equipment:
List here; wargear should be fairly basic, and bear in mind that you can change your character's loadout in the course of the RP -- the Repentance has an armory after all.

Name: Rayvius 'Moyses' Skalterion

Age: 261

Physical Description:

Appearance is not indicative of equipment. Rayvius has green eyes, black hair and stands at 7'9'' and weighs 792 pounds. He received a burn scar on his left neck that he received during his service in the Deathwatch; he has not revealed the source of the injury, claiming Inquisitorial Secrecy.

Character History: Rayvius was born on Aegyptus, a backwater planet that was abandoned by the Imperium during the Africanus Crusade for tactical reasons, primarily due to a warp storm due to hit and isolate the system. As soon as the Imperium abandoned the system, Dark Eldar appeared, enslaving the entire population. Rayvius escaped because a Dark Angels scout took him off the planet as a child, moved by his mother's plaintive pleas for deliverance.
Rayvius was raised as a chapter serf by the Dark Angels and was a full marine by 16, where he promtly joined his battle-brothers in the Africanus Crusade. He never forgot his homeworld, and was haunted by his last moments with his mother. When he was 42, he requested to be sent to Aegyptus to help liberate the planet. The warp storm isolating the system had passed, but the Imperial forces deemed the planet not worth the expense of liberating it. He asked to join a unit of nine other Imperial specialists, agents and assassins. Rayvius' sergeant allowed his request, seeing how Ray's memories of his homeworld distracted him and hoping to excise him of the burden. Rayvius and his team became known on Aegyptus as the Plagues, and after a forty year campaign, managed to sow enough chaos among the Dark Eldar occupiers to allow a liberation force to be validated and force the Dark Eldar off the planet, culminating in a directed orbital bombardment and the assassination of the Archon of the Kabal. The people of Aegyptus immortalized him as the tenth Plague: the Angel of Death, and gave him the honorary name 'Moyses,' which he adopted without reservation.
He went on to serve as a scout and a tactical marine during the remainder of the Africanus Crusade, though with no exceptionally notable heroics. At the close of the Africanus Crusade, he was offered a position in Deathwatch when he was 117, where he spent a century among their forces as a kill-marine. His most notable actions in the Deathwatch was the cleansing of the Velcorn system's four habitable planets of genestealer infestation within a week, all on his own.

Psychological Profile: Rayvius is a loner, a trait he developed in his forty year guerrilla campaign on Aegyptus and his century as a lone kill-marine in the Deathwatch. He is most comfortable working alone or in small teams, and is just as likely to be seen in a scout's carapace armor as he is in Power Armor. He has developed sympathy for the common imperial citizen and works well with non-Astartes organizations in the Imperium. He is familiar with many other Astartes Chapters and has a begrudging admiration for many Xenos species, both traits acquired from his Deathwatch service. He has difficultly connecting with his battle brothers, and occasionally wonders if it would be better for him to return to the Deathwatch as a Black Shield. He is rather suspicious about the Dark Angels' occasional radical redeployments, but unless he finds out why, he has no reason to object.

Equipment:
Mk. VII Aquila Power Armor
Mk IIIa Godwyn Pattern Bolter
Guardian Bolt Pistol
Frag Grenade x4
Krak Grenade x4

Character Sheet (Template Here)
Name: Sergeant Uriel
Age: 341
Physical Description:
Though he wears some hair atop his head, Uriel's sides are shorn completely of hair, the better to prominently display three century service studs. He bears scars from the claws of a chaos beast on his right cheek and the imperial eagle tattooed upon the other. Physiologically, he is the standard Space Marine.

Character History:
Uriel was recruited from Priscina IV but remembers nothing of it, for the Dark Angels purged his memories as part of his induction into the Chapter. Progressing from serf to initiate, he showed resourcefulness in a fight and a keen power of observation -- he was not un-eager, but was methodical in everything he did. Serving as a scout, he made a superlative sniper, patiently and calmly waiting for his target to enter the crosshairs, never impatient to take the shot. He won his entry into the Chapter in an action against the Eldar, when his was the shot that felled a Dark Reapers exarch who was laying down fire on the main body of battle brothers his squad was supporting. As a student of Naaman, his performance is reflective of the training he received.

Notable Campaigns include:
- Fourth Quadrant Rebellion (775-780.M41) - As part of the 5th Company. Chaos Guardsmen, rebelling planetary governors
- The Siege of Vraks (821.M41) - As part of the 5th Company. A strike to disable a key spaceport fallen into Chaos hands became an ambush by the Alpha Legion. Uriel, as a recently-promoted Sergeant, led his tactical squad with expertise, particularly in his counter-ambush of a Chaos Dreadnought and supporting cultist infantry and Chaos Marines with melta-bombs cunningly set. This feat of patience and cool-headeness prevented a devastating flanking attack on Azrael's main force as it attacked the starport, and earned Uriel induction into the Deathwing, which is to say, his Terminator Honors.
- Pandorax Campaign (959-961.M41) - As part of the 1st Company. A fight against Abbadon the Despoiler's forces. Notably, he met Catachan Jungle Fighters for the first time, and was impressed with their tenacity.
- Battle of Piscina IV (221997.M41) - As a veteran sergeant of the 3rd Company, he led the squad in defense of Priscina against Greenskins. Despite the toll taken on the Dark Angels, they prevailed, albeit at the cost of the life of Naaman and much of the planet. (Most of the characters may be veterans of this fight, reformed into Uriel's squad after that.) He was part of the defense of Koth ridge.

Psychological Profile:
Uriel is not the typical Space Marine tactical sergeant; he allows his Space Marines a degree of discretion in choosing their individual armament according to preference, his phrase being, "As you see fit, brother, so long as you do not unbalance the squad." He is remarkably calm in the face of battle and in almost everything he does -- to some, he seems lax in discipline, and yet he gets results -- he makes what he does look easy, even as he seems easygoing. Beneath that facade is a keen tactical mind. In fact, his considerable calmness, beyond even the "They Shall Know No Fear" pronouncement of the Emperor, aids him in making his decisions.

In other circumstances, however, he remains an orthodox Dark Angel space marine; he is intolerant of Xenos and any dealings with them and is constantly on the lookout for activity of the Fallen. The other brothers do not know the secret of the chapter, that their own had fallen, and Uriel doesn't know the whole story, but he is ever-vigilant for opportunities to hunt the forces of Chaos and root them out, for there is ever the possibility of finding a traitor to the Legion. He cannot share this burden with the brothers, but Dark Angels are generally taught to obey orders and not question, even as they are fed a mythology of the Dark Angels purging traitors that builds up to the monstrous secret of the Unforgiven.

Equipment:
- Uriel tends to take whatever balances the squad's loadout, though he has a marked preference for the Stalker-Pattern bolter, which has an elongated barrel and an M40 targeter.
- Frag and Krak grenades
- Always carries a satchel charge and a melta bomb; he is something of an authority on the use of explosives, even among Space Marines.
- Mk III Bolt Pistol
- Combat Knife
- Mk. VII Aquila Power Armor with multiple purity seals and robes, though there is a time and a place for the robes. If he is wearing a helmet, it is painted white to denote that he is a member of the Deathwing. There is an icon of a winged, robed figure with a sword pointed down mounted upon his power pack.

Name: Marbas Sabnack

Age: 352

Physical Description: Generally considered to be fairly average for a space marine, Marbas appears as the perfect rank-and-file marine for any company, a fact that has often disappointed the warrior. As grizzled as anyone else who had seen as much combat as he had, Marbas has his own collection of scars of various sizes and shapes, and more than a few plasma burns, which he wears proudly, from his time as a Devastator marine. The most notable thing about him, aside from the plasma burn on the left side of his face, which also fused together his little collection of service studs on his forehead, is probably the mohawk he insists on wearing. He keeps it neatly trimmed to fit comfortably under his helmet, but the shock of hair is more than noticeable when his headgear is removed. In this instance, Marbas is convinced he lucked out, as his hair happens to stand up mostly on its own, leaving him with a very proud, if short, mohawk, that he maintains despite his circumstances. More than a few have accused him of vanity for it, but the super-human insists that it is a form of meditation. In similar fashion, he maintains all of his equipment personally and meticulously, tending to it during times of meditation, and only seeking help when the problem is insurmountable on his own.

Character History: Marbas has no memory of how he got into the first legion. His oldest memory is that of waking up as a scout, ready to serve with a band of other scouts he had never met before, ready to fight and die for the Emperor. He showed great promise as a scout, consistently rated amongst the top quarter of all the recruits. His skill with heavy weapons was legendary amongst his fellows. One such operation, where he was handed the squad's rocket launcher earned him his marineship, when a skillful, and some say lucky, shot, disabled key enemy defenses at the Fortress of Kaligar. This got him assigned to the third company, where he would remain for the rest of his career. Initially a Devastator, he put his skills to good use, toting a plasma cannon for the Second Squad of Devastators. After numerous engagements, the warrior was looking forward to many long years as a devastator. Of course, his training was not complete, and he was moved to an assault squad. Decidedly less enthusiastic, Marbas took out his disappointment on the Emperor's foes, and that helped a little. And after numerous requests, he was moved back to a Devastator squad, to once again man a plasma cannon for the Emperor. Unfortunately for him, Marbas was reassigned once more when replacements were needed in the Third Company's tactical squads During the Seige of Vraks. On a positive note, that same engagement earned him a rather rare and well-kept suit of Mk IV power armour, awarded to him for his valour and skill in combat against both Chaos and the Heretic. He also managed to get his hands on a Combi-Plasma gun, which was a half-decent consolation prize, given the situation. Having gotten about as close as he could manage to his desired position, the super-soldier resolved to serve the Emperor well, that he might get to tote a plasma cannon for he Emperor once more. In the mean time, he continues his requests to carry the squad's special or heavy weapon, on the condition that it be a plasma weapon. At this point, however, he is convinced that the sergeant continues to deny the requests because the amount of ammunition Marbas carries into battle is incredibly useful.

Psychological Profile: As a talented heavy-weapons operator, Marbas is often described as "resolute" and "undauntable". His firm belief in overwhelming firepower is often appreciated by his battle-brothers, but saw him often at a disadvantage during his time as an assault marine. On his own time, the marine is generally friendly and happy to help, something he attributes to his talent as a Devastator. "Well-liked" would be an appropriate term to describe his relationship with his fellows. His tendency to carry ridiculous amounts of ammunition has more than once gotten him favour amongst his brothers when their bolters ran dry. His love for plasma is the only oddity to be found. Marbas seems to have a passion for the stuff unmatched by any other member of the chapter. Something not everyone is fond of, considering the reliability of such weapons...

Equipment:
Mk IV Power Armour - modified backpack, originally purposed for heavy bolter ammunition, the additional space is now used to house additional Boltgun magazines
Mk IIIa Godwyn Pattern Combi-Plasma Gun - plasma gun is top-mounted, handguard is fitted with gripod
Mk V Wrathfire Pattern Plasma Pistol
Combat Knife
Plasma Grenades
Blind Grenades
A variety of ammunition based on what is available pre-deployment, bombed-up in sixty-round drums, stored in his backpack, and on his custom webgear.

Name: Hakael Caim
Age: 281
Physical Description: For a space marine, Hakael is somewhat small in stature, not enough to trouble the fitting of venerated power armour, but standing shoulder to shoulder with his battle brothers un-armoured it is not difficult to note this fact. One should not take this as indication that Hakael pulls any less weight than the rest of his brothers. Other than the usual hearty collection of battle scars one would expect from a battlefield veteran the marine has one notable scar gifted by the "lucky" swing of a chain axe that also stole his right eye, as such he sports a mechanical eye with the remnants of the wound stretching down to the edge of his nose. Hakael also has rough looking sideburns which he claim help intimidate his foes, his brothers are not so convinced yet his righteous rage terrifies many a heathen regardless.

Character History:

Hakael hails from the planet Utartus where despite utilizing technology common in the 41st millenium, the populace rely on more primitive tribal methods as means of government, meaning that strength was everything. In a planet where only the strong survive, Hakael rose to an impressive societle standing, so much so that scouting him was a simple thought for the passing dark angels. While some may believe that being brought up in such a system would lead to an untrainable marine, Hakael quickly bowed to the overwhelming might of the emperor and fully pledged his spirit and body to his services as one of his finest.

During his time in the scout company, he quickly displayed his honed combatitive instincts, always charging into the nearest combat situation possible shotgun in hand and combat knife where that would fail. The turning point in his career came during the siege of vindar where the thunderhawk carrying his squad was shot down by patrolling Eldar vampire hunters and crash landed in one of the planets populated cities. With their sergent critically wounded, Hakael and his fellow scouts grabbed as much as they could from the remains of the thunderhawk and dragged their sergent to a nearby towerblock. What ensued was a 24 hours holdout against a merciless wave of xenos desperate to finish off wounded prey, however the staunch scouts used their claustrophobic surroundings to their advantage, forcing their attackers into close range and limiting their ability to fire collectively, allowing the scouts, spearheaded by Hakael, to slaughter the frailer xenos with their superior strength until an extraction team finally slipped through the Eldar blockade, earning Hakael his marinehood.

The majority of Hakael's notable exploits can be found in his time spent as part of the 6th company's assault regiment, his feats include taking part in the mass deep strike against the warboss Shnark Gregzin, being one of the few marines who collectively shredded the ork cutting off the head of the army, the joint assault on thrangar, a city overrun with chaos, where his squad was tasked with defence of imperial guard batteries pounding the southern district. Here he went toe to toe with many bloody thirstly fallen brothers and the incident that earned him his cybernetic eye. However his most heroic exploit came during the battle of Piscina IV, ironically he had recently been assigned to one of the 3rd company's tactical squads and had not earned much of a name with the venerable boltgun in hand but here he proved his prowess did not simply end at the reach of his arm. The battle dealt the dark angels a heavy blow as the greenskin tide outnumbered the valient warriors tenfold however through grit and determination Hakael fought to his limit, eventually standing side by side with far more venerable brothers in the defence of Koth ridge where straggling dark angels came together to halt the orks with a wall of flame and bullets.

Psychological Profile:
While centuries in service of the emporer have long since forged Hakael into a staunch defender of the imperium, he still retains some of his rougher tendancies from days on Utartus, he is quick to anger and slow to forgive coupled with a fierce sense of pride in his own capabilities. While he can come off abrasive, often blunt in his use of words, he displays strong loyalty to each and every one of his battle brothers rarely showing concern for his own well being as using his strenght to protect his comrades falls well within the boundaries of his pride. In battle he preffers to think on his feet, leaving long term stratagem to the sergent on those above he utilizes his lightning fast reflexes on split second decisions, prefferable in the flurry of CQC, though natually restraint is shown where needed.

Equipment:
Mark VI "Corvus Armour"
MK Vb Godwyn pattern Boltgun with a Chainblade combat attatchment
Mk. Xf Hell's Teeth pattern Chainsword, dependant on the combat situation
Ceres Pattern boltpistol
Standard issue frag and krak grenades
2 x Combat knife
