Good afternoon everyone!

I have been writing since I was a little girl, and have been role playing since my high school days. I originally started off on the avidgamers websites and was absolutely devastated when they shut down the server. Since those good old days, I have been doing private rps simply with close friends through email or some form of instant messenger. However, with my return to school dawning, the urge to fill my time with writing has resurfaced, and I just couldn't help but to return to the world wide web in search of other like minded individuals who enjoy creating their own worlds, species and characters. In addition, since I am starting up a fairly demanding program (Diagnostic Imaging and Ultrasound Radiology :D ~ I can't wait!!) I definitely need a creative outlet where I can be my dorky self and not drive my significant other absolutely crazy.

Greetings Raven Lady, hopefully you'll find your stay on the Guild a pleasant one. I think you'll find a lot of possibilities here to let your imagination run free. People are nice, food is good, rent is cheap - yeah, I think you'll like it.

And if you enjoy interacting with all sorts of weir- unique people, you might even love the RPGuild family :P

So, what kind of RP's do you enjoy the most? Sci-fi, slice of life, mystery, romance? Do tell ^.^

Hello LostBrotherGrimm, I do hope that I can get back into the swing of working on a site quickly; the earlier I can get back into writing on a regular basis the easier it will be to incorporate it into my routine so that I can have a designated amount of time a day to write to my little heart's content :)

As for what type of rp's I enjoy the most, I'm not too sure if I can really narrow it down to a few. With my friend that I have been writing with for almost 11 years (geesh it's already been that long o.O"), we have created a complete science fiction universe following a certain group of individuals through three generations. This includes vampires, witches, demonic creatures, etc. However, I am not limited to that universe. I adore writing romantic threads with no restrictions in the sense that I am totally down for smut or just actual wooing of the characters nor do I have restrictions in having the characters necessarily be straight; I have also written both slash and yuri.

I am also a complete anime lover! I must confess that I am obsessed with the idea of at some point doing almost a fanfic rp of vampire knight but that is mostly on the back burner as I would much prefer to create my own characters to start off with here on this site :)

Essentially, I haven't come across a type of rp that I dislike and so I'm pretty open minded when it comes to writing.

In my opinion, this site is really easy to get used to, so I don't think that will prove too much of a challenge. Unless you stumble across the same curse as moa *scary music*

Oh boy, having that in your routine is great! I really should try incorporating writing in my daily routine as well. Well.. I should first try coming up with a daily routine or something :P

That's good, you can never have too many rp genres you enjoy ^.^ you've spent 11 honing a single universe? Woah, that puts my little universe at shame :O but I have to say that following a certain group through generations sounds very appealing. So basically, you're more or less totally open-minded? That's sweet - although I have to ask... what's slash? I mean, I know the meaning of the word, but I don't know what would that be rp-wise. :P

Hah, same here! Although I never watched vampire knight. People told me a lot about it and it was all mostly "oh, you're a guy, don't watch it". >.<

That sounds pretty cool - well, if you ever wish to talk to someone to get used to the site easier, maybe do onexone RP or just collect another acquitance (gotta catch 'em all, right?), feel free to PM me, so this thread doesn't end up filled with long messages. :3
