Smiling, the brunette began walking down the street back home, hands in his pocket and his hoodie pulled tight as the snow crunched under his walking boots. He could hear footsteps behind him, but thought nothing of it... Untill the steps grew faster, louder...
Yelling out as a hand enclosed around his mouth, and and arm around his middle, Charlie struggled to try and free himself as he was dragged into the alleyway, shoved against the wall by the guy who'd jumped him.
Glancing up at his attacker, Charlie's eyes took in every detail he could see, from his wild brown eyes, to his greasy pale skin and dirty blonde hair and thin form, dressed in rags. The guy began to rant and scream at him, his speech unintelligible and coming out in an uninterrupted stream. Without warning, he raised a gun and took aim at Charlie.
BANG!
Time seemed to be moving at a snail's pace for Charlie, the snow falling upon his thin form as he lay on the cold, wet ground of the alleyway, bleeding out onto the ground. The pain of the bullet embedded in his spine was all he could focus upon, mouth moving soundlessly as his lifeblood slowly ebbed out of him, mingling with the snow and his vomit. All he wanted was his best friend by his side, needing to see her, talk to her, feel reassured..
(So.. We can do a friendship or sibling roleplay based around our characters, and how they cope with his injuries and the aftereffects of the shooting.
Your character can have any past, any personality, anything you wish. We can discuss the plot and the like together.)

To many, Charlie/Charlotte’s way of life is considered immoral and disgusting. For every positive comment, she receives ten negative ones. The reason for this? She is trans-sexual, and as such, identifies as a woman. For years, he has battled with body image issues and suffered bouts of depression over how she is viewed and how she felt suppressed and limited to portray herself to the outside world, keeping her desires hidden below the surface, waiting for, needing the chance to be who she truly wants to be.
The chance came when she transferred to a new college in order to get a new lease on life where she could settle down happily. Starting to dress, act, and portray herself as a more feminine person around a select group of friends, she found the elusive joy and excitement that had always been absent in her life before now. However, after a while, she started to receive threats and abusive emails from an unknown source, and became much more reluctant to portray her new personality and reverted to acting more masculine again, keeping her “secret” under wraps to avoid further abuse from the other students or staff faculty. All she wants… needs is someone to accept her, no matter if it is a friend or family member.
