Strength is a measure of muscle, endurance and stamina combined. Strength affects the ability of characters to lift and carry weights, melee attack rolls, damage rolls (for both melee and ranged weapons,) the Jump, Climb, and Swim skills, several combat actions, and general checks involving moving or breaking stubborn objects.
Dexterity encompasses a number of physical attributes including eye–hand coordination, agility, reflexes, fine motor skills, balance and speed of movement; a high dexterity score indicates superiority in all these attributes. Dexterity affects characters with regard to initiative in combat, ranged attack rolls, Reflex saves, and Balance, Escape, Hide, Move Silently, Open Locks, Ride, , Tumble, and Use Rope skills.
Luck determines your chances of finding items and plays a small part in survival.
Endurance encompasses the character's physique, toughness, health and resistance to disease and poison. The higher a character's Endurance, the more 'hit points' that character will have. Endurance also is important for Fortitude, Concentration skills, and fatigue-based general checks. Unlike the other ability scores, which render the character unconscious or immobile when they hit 0, having 0 Endurance is fatal.
Intelligence is similar to IQ, but also includes mnemonic ability, reasoning and learning ability outside those measured by the written word.It also affects how many skill points a character gains per level. Affects: Appraise, Craft, Decipher, Disable, Forgery, Knowledge, and Search.
Wisdom is a composite term for the character's enlightenment, judgment, wile, willpower and intuitiveness. It also affects Healing, Listening, Sensory, and Survival skills.
Charisma is the measure of the character's combined physical attractiveness, persuasiveness, and personal magnetism. A generally non-beautiful character can have a very high charisma due to strong measures of the other two aspects of charisma. Charisma Affects Bluff, Diplomacy, Disguise, Gather Information, Handle Animal, Intimidate, and Perform.

Name: Felix
Age: 15
Appearance: Sandy blond, almost brown, hair hangs shaggily down off his head, giving the boy a slightly untamed look. He is well built for his age, not extremely muscular nor gangly for his five and three-quarter foot height, and any form-fitting clothing, something he wears often, shows off his body quite well. His light skin is colored by years of outdoor training for the Hunger Games, giving it a reddish-brown hue that accents his hair. His steel blue eyes often gleam in tandem with his pale, but charming, smile, which pull his cheeks into the smallest of dimples as he grins.

Personality: A boy of handsome looks, Felix is vain enough to know it. He may not be the strongest or smartest fighter, but when paired in matches Felix usually holds his own. When he does win, especially against a more powerful opponent, it boosts his overly-inflated ego, and he often boasts about accomplishments that aren't quite true. This has a tendency to frustrate his rivals, of which there are many, but also enthralls his friends and sweethearts. Felix has plenty of success with the ladies, something he feels just comes naturally to him, just as most of life does. He doesn't always realize just how lucky he is, but Felix generally makes out successfully in his endeavors. When sheer luck won't do it, Felix is viciously jealous and ruthless, anything in the way to his goal usually gets hurt in the process.
Biography: Felix was rescued from mine duty by the tribute selection process in his early years, and thereafter he attended District 2's training academy for tributes. He was put through a rigorous training regime with the intention that he would eventually volunteer as tribute. As he grew older, he began to win more of his matches, taking down his opponents as quickly as he could. There were still a fair number of other students who could outmatch him, but once or twice Felix was able to outwit them or deal an opportune blow. With these bolstering his confidence, Felix decided to volunteer for the Hunger Games in his fifteenth year, shouting out quickly before any of the oldest academy students could wisk the chance away.

What did you do in the Training Room to receive your Training Score? Near-decapitation (head was hanging by a small strand of tissue) of a training dummy while upside-down in the mid-air of a sumersault routine.
Other: Felix hates dogs. He's not afraid of them per se, he just doesn't like them and won't go near one.

Appearance: Oliver is a young teenager who hit his growth spurt early. He's tall for his age, at just over 6', and has a solid enough build that he is often mistaken at first glance for someone who is older. However, his face belies his youth and inexperience. He has wavy brown hair that is short enough for a conservative combed look it's necessary. His expressive green eyes are his most striking feature, and his skin always looks just a little tanned, with an olive tint.
Personality: While sheer intelligence isn't his strong suit, he is thoughtful and considerate in his decision making. What he lacks in experience and confidence he somewhat makes up for with his maturity, tenacity, and willingness to adapt to changing situations. He often falls into the background because of his soft spoken attitude, but those who know him know that he has a knack for rebounding and very rarely seems tired, exhausted, or ill.
Biography: Oliver grew up the younger of two sons, in a family with a long history of happily participating in the games. His father owns and runs a business which produces all kinds of weapons for the capitol, including those used in the Games. Oliver was never supposed to participate in the game, with his older brother being groomed from birth for the honor of volunteering. However, a training accident left Oliver's older brother with a permanent disability and he was allowed to withdraw from participation. As the only eligible son, Oliver was pushed to volunteer instead to uphold the family name, and a healthy fear of his father convinced him to do so. While he displayed a remarkable ability to endure, Oliver was middling in most other areas.
Preferred Weapon of Choice: He is most able with a spear, but has some proficiency with projectile weapons in general.
What did you do in the Training Room to receive your Training Score? Oliver displayed an ability to throw multiple spears at a target in quick succession without tiring. His aim wasn't always on target, but none of his hits were very far off, and he utilized sustained heft in his throws.

He used the momentary darkness to stab the throats of all the room's dummies with a dagger before the lights came back on.

He is also careful with his words only giving his thoughts and opinions if asked considering it careless to give out too much information about one’s mind. He loves to go down the harder path and be challenged by his tasks in order to prove himself to be superior. However if you can get past all this pretense and possible take his mind off the games, he can be a very likable and entertaining individual.
Biography: He spent the vast majority of his years working as a Tester, a fairly dangerous job involving testing all the technology which was created in District 3 before being sent to the Capitol. After watching friend after friend being picked off as tribute and dying, he thought himself lucky not to be picked until 17, ripe at the age of physical and mental maturity. He decided that he would not only win the Hunger Games by any means necessary but also dedicate his victory to the fallen tributes of District 3.

What did you do in the Training Room to receive your Training Score: Sam cleaved the dummies into multiple body parts using a bastard sword before taking the time to arrange them into a monstrous sculpture and setting it on fire. He called it Hades.

Appearance: Dark messy hair frames a bulky face, his brows are always seemingly in a scowl in every display of emotion. He is slightly chubby with arms that are visibly muscled. His clothing is loose and the perfect shade of blue that makes it look like waves moving across his body as he walks.
Personality: He is a rather cheery and insightful man despite his scowling face, constantly questioning such things as the meaning of life and what could possibly be divided by zero.
Biography: A regular fishermen, he spent most of his time with the old coots of the district, often learning and even teaching others how to catch fish better. When he was selected he had not been expecting the pizzazz about the city and has enjoyed seeing the bright and beautiful hairstyles of people, but now here he stands focused and determined not losing sight of his goal to win.
Preferred Weapon of Choice: Pointy sticks and fishing nets.

Name: Mairin Monger
Age: 16
Appearance: 5’ 7”, fairly tan. She has golden blonde hair and brown eyes as typical of her district. Her hair is always tied up in either a bun or a braid, as getting one’s hair stuck in a fishing line can be disastrous. When unbound, her hair is pin-straight, and lightens in the sun to be near bleach-blonde. While Mairin may describe her own eyes as dull, they often have a glimmer of intelligence when her interest is attracted.
Personality: A people person when she chooses to be, she uses her looks and quick wits to charm those she comes across. Not to be described as an airhead, though, Mairin enjoys keeping up with the elders of her fishing village and holds a certain air of wisdom about her.
Biography: The second child of a trawler, Mairin became responsible once three children followed. As she wasn’t the first born, she didn’t spend half as many days out with nets and spears as she did helping her siblings learn how to fish and become literate. This isn’t to say that she is without skill, however. Her older brother had kept her from entering the pool until he became ineligible, which prompted her to enter starting at age fourteen.
Preferred Weapon of Choice: Line with multiple hooks dangling from it. Used for line fishing at home.
What did you do in the Training Room to receive your Training Score? Twirled the aforementioned weapon around her head, wrap it around a sandbag head, then split it with minimal force. This was after showing how to make such a weapon with odds and ends.
Other: She has a certain protective instinct for the younger competitors, but more so a sense of loyalty. Her desire to survive to go back to her family is stronger than each, to be sure.

Appearance: 5’ 7”, fairly tan. She has golden blonde hair and brown eyes as typical of her district. Her hair is always tied up in either a bun or a braid, as getting one’s hair stuck in a fishing line can be disastrous. When unbound, her hair is pin-straight, and lightens in the sun to be near bleach-blonde. While Mairin may describe her own eyes as dull, they often have a glimmer of intelligence when her interest is attracted.
Personality: A people person when she chooses to be, she uses her looks and quick wits to charm those she comes across. Not to be described as an airhead, though, Mairin enjoys keeping up with the elders of her fishing village and holds a certain air of wisdom about her.
Biography: The second child of a trawler, Mairin became responsible once three children followed. As she wasn’t the first born, she didn’t spend half as many days out with nets and spears as she did helping her siblings learn how to fish and become literate. This isn’t to say that she is without skill, however. Her older brother had kept her from entering the pool until he became ineligible, which prompted her to enter starting at age fourteen.
Preferred Weapon of Choice: Line with multiple hooks dangling from it. Used for line fishing at home.
What did you do in the Training Room to receive your Training Score? Twirled the aforementioned weapon around her head, wrap it around a sandbag head, then split it with minimal force. This was after showing how to make such a weapon with odds and ends.
Other: She has a certain protective instinct for the younger competitors, but more so a sense of loyalty. Her desire to survive to go back to her family is stronger than each, to be sure.

Appearance: Garrick stands at a respectable 6'3" and has the kind of impressive musculature that you'd expect to see only on a career tribute. His dark hair is cut close to the scalp, his green eyes sit under a heavy brow that makes him look rather brutish, and his skin is thoroughly tanned. In short, he looks like the kind of fellow you'd expect to see pummeling younger kids for their lunch money.
Personality: Garrick is the kind of fellow who would indeed pummel younger kids for their lunch money. He's selfish, he's crude, and he likes to work with his hands, particularly when said work involves making others feel pain. Unsurprisingly enough, Garrick is not a friendly or talkative person; he's just as likely to ignore you as answer a question, and those odds sit equal with the chances that he'll decide your face would look better after a conversation with his fist. One would expect this kind of guy to be an idiot, and he plays one very well, but those few who Garrick lets past the barrier of his fists and indifference have found him to be surprisingly bright.

He was a horrible bully, terror even to kids a couple years his senior, and that pretty much sums up his early life. Later on, Garrick's parents decided that the best way to deal with his aggression was to put him to hard work, so that he'd be too tired to beat up other children, and so he was made to work as a porter loading and unloading trains. Their plan worked at first, but after a while all the exercise simply served to make him stronger and all the more terrifying to those he decided to beat up. He was smart enough to be careful in his brutality, only attacking those who would be too intimidated to report him and never doing so where peacekeepers or nosy adults might intervene.
After beating a scrawny orphan boy to death soon after he turned 17, Garrick decided he quite enjoyed it and would like to take more lives. He managed to murder two more weaklings, going uncaught for all of his crimes, before it came time for the Hunger Games once more. Garrick volunteered as the male tribute for District 6, figuring that it was a sure way to be able to indulge in his new interest and that he had a good shot at winning over all the timid tributes who were forced into competing.
Preferred Weapon of Choice: Spear (though that really comes second to his fists in preference)
What did you do in the Training Room to receive your Training Score? Garrick showed off some of his spear skills that he learned in training, handling a heavy two-handed spear with quite a bit of grace in using both the bladed head and the blunt butt to batter a target dummy; he even threw it from a moderate distance like an over-sized javelin and got it stuck in the dummy. To retrieve the spear, he used his bare hands to smash the dummy and pulled the weapon free from the wreckage.

He fights brutally, but is not the type to just run in head first to a bad situation, he'll form his own plan of survival, and do whatever he thinks will help his odds, right or wrong.

He watched as his brother killed one, nearly exclaiming to the monitor to tell his brother to turn around but he was too late, a spear went through the shoulder blade of his brother. But what surprised him was his brother's valor, he refused to die there, rushing at the now defenseless tribute and hacking him to pieces. He tore the spear from his back before falling to his knees then onto his stomach and dying. Axton was inspired by his brother's valiant efforts, he understood why when what winning the games meant. He volunteered as tribute after he had strengthened himself both mentally and physically.
