Those interested must read the following for a better understanding of my idea and expectations:
First off, I will stress this is for advanced writers only! I want someone who is capable of playing from two to four roles with a total main cast of four to eight characters. I want us to be able to focus on each role equally. I know some people have main characters and side roles but for this roleplay, I want to be able to develop everyone at their own pace, without having a role slip away or get neglected. When people take on multiple rules, they tend to give more for others and it's not fair. So to combat this dirty habit, I want to find someone who can write equally for every character and you'll see as to why the cast needs to be so large. In terms of posting size for each character, i think sticking to 2-4 paragraphs per role would be fine, considering we will be doubling at the very least.
With that out of the way, I can carry on and tell you about this story I have in mind. I was up last night watching Austenland on tv because I couldn't sleep and it depicted the idea of a fan paying to immerse herself into the novels she loved so much. That got me thinking about the world I'd love to live in, Harry Potter. So what if we played actors and fans of Harry Potter and created a setting in the middle of England's wide open spaces. It would mimic the castle and there would be hundreds of actors who go to school alongside the fans who have paid to become a real student of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The premise would then be:
"Have you ever pictured yourself in the land of mystical magic and dragons? Have you read the Harry Potter books countless times, seen the films, bought the music and even bought your own wand? If you're an avid fan of Harry Potter, then sign up for the "Hogwarts Experience" which is a world made to mirror the school where dreams are made. Clients can range from ages 10 to 18 and are free to pay by the month for attendance. A month costs 5,000 dollars, with the maximum allowed being an 8-month program. Clients would then receive their official Hogwarts Letter and be given further instructions to attend the school for as long as they want, be it a month or a fully eight months to complete a year.
Returning clients will get more benefits.
They (any client) would not get to pick their Houses but they would be able to pick their classes. The school will be fully functioning and will require all incoming clients to do away with silly muggle devices such as laptops, cell phones, tablets, digital cameras, etc. Meals and housing would be provided and parents of clients would be able to convert their money into wizarding money to allow their child to spend to their hearts content at the various shops around Hogwarts. This is a grand adventure and each client will be able to select the package to suit their needs. If the client desires romance, our wonderful actors will accommodate them and make them feel special. Or if the client wishes to follow in the footsteps of Harry and his friends, an adventure of evil versus good can be executed. Or if the client wishes to focus on the education aspect of the immersion, that can be taken care of as well.
Clients and actors will coexist together in classes, meals and other typical Hogwarts activities.
Communications back home will require the use of an owl. Our staff will hard write letters from the parents to the child after being given an email from the parents to ensure the fluidity of living in the 1990s as a Hogwarts student. Health care will be provided, should there be a need. Quidditch will be a sport that your child can try out for as well. Since this is meant to be an immersive environment for the child or teen, homework will be given out as will punishments. All of our actors will sign many agreements to keep everything safe and fair. This is a wonderful time for a child to become a witch or wizard, make friends, find love, have a life changing experience that shows them that magic exists within themselves, not just in books."

Overall:
I want us to play half actors and half clients. I think the appeal for me is the idea that who don't know what's real and what's fake. You can't tell if you're making a connection or if it's just because someone is being paid. This is a pure slice-of-life story, I'm not about to make magic real, nothing supernatural or fantasy related is meant to happen. Some people don't enjoy the pace of these stories but this is meant to be done in our modern world. We're all fans of the franchise and this is a way to mock a roleplay but to also have fun with human tendencies and develop ideas and various outlooks on life.
I want a partner who can have fun with this while also taking the relationships seriously.
No, you don't have to have seen the movie that inspired me, but it would be nice if you knew the tone of it. But overall, this is a service. The company serving the clients who are fans. Not everything may run smoothly after all. This is something that can have drama, humor and intrigue. So if anyone understands what I'm trying to do, please drop a line!
