My name is Viva and I started roleplays with some of you a while back and kind of fell off the map for about two months because real life left me unable to access a computer, but I'm finally back. Here are a few notes (read: "rules") that I’d love to share with you when it comes to roleplaying with me:
1. You must have a sense of humour.
2. I love playing males, but I'm happy to play both genders. I do all pairings: MxF, MxM, or FxF.
3. I will try and reply twice a day (sometimes more!), but occasionally, I will be away from the computer as I am a twenty-two year old med student. You could spend the time between my replies reading a book, petting your cat, or going outside. I will always let you know if I think I may be unable to reach a computer for a few days.
4. I prefer very high casual/advanced roleplaying—so, a few paragraphs a post (600-800 words or so). Paragraphs should have not just length, but breadth. If you spend four paragraphs writing about your character’s “magnificent, golden orbs,” I will probably have a conniption.
5. I don’t really have limits. I don’t feel comfortable with rape, incest, or furries, but anything else is fine. I’m more than happy to adjust my roleplaying to your limits, so, just let me know. I do have a smart mouth and you’ve been justly warned. I will tell you now that I love romance in my roleplays, but there definitely needs to be a plot behind it.
6. I love OOC chat. You can talk to me about the roleplay, plot twists, or your daily struggles in life. On the topic of discussion, I love formulating plots and twists together. It’s probably my favourite past time.
7. I won’t roleplay over a thread because it’s guaranteed that I will lose it. I am happy to roleplay over PM or email.
That’s about it. I don’t have a lot of “rules” because I believe we are all adults here and should know how to conduct ourselves in public, yea? Additionally, if you consider yourself an advanced writer/roleplayer, I’m sure we’ll get along charmingly. All I ask is you give me a name to call you by; if you don’t give me one, I’ll resort to calling you whatever I see fit.
With that said, my list of genres is incredibly short. I don’t own a TV and watch only a handful of shows. I don’t really read comics or go to the movies, so, sorry, most fandoms I don’t have listed are out for me (and no, I won't go read an entire manga series because you want me to roleplay it with you). PLEASE SUGGEST THINGS. I can't emphasise this enough. I'm always happy to go out on a limb and try new things.
