Here's the breakdown:
Things to know: Faeries are deathly allergic to iron, faeries never give out their full name (unless they want to be completely controlled by another faerie), faeries literally cannot tell lies (but they are very good with riddles), changelings refers to when devious faeries switch a human child with a faerie child because of some wrong the human family has done to the fae. The faerie grows up thinking it is human until it becomes a teenager, then it returns to the faerie realm. The human child is trapped in the faerie realm, never allowed to leave... even once the faerie child returns.
All characters you choose to play will be either Faerie or Faerie/Human Changeling Pair. You can have multiple characters( please do!), but just try to keep the different faerie courts balanced. I will loosely control the Court monarchs, for now at least – although I am open to letting a co-gm or two run a few.

These are the Courts:
- The Winter Court: This Court typically represents what people see as the malevolent side of the Fae. The fae of this court seemingly frown upon humans. They're more inclined to talk about their ope cruelty. This makes them look none other than evil, however one chooses to define evil. The Winter Court has free reign over winter solstice and autumn equinox months, and are strongest during that time. By and by, the fae of this court are sensible, chilled, dark, baleful, and what have you. They are the epitome of winter.
- The Autumn Court: This Court is typically seen as the equally malevolent side of Fae in comparison to Winter, but much more middling. The fae of this court are generally the ones doing the "dirty work" and "trooping". However, these fae can have much nicer sides than any of the Fae and return great favors. The Autumn Court is strongest during the ends of summer and throughout the autumn season. These fae are strong, mystique, eerie, ravishing all the same, and devious. The epitome of autumn.
- The Summer Court:This Court typically represents what people see as the benevolent side of the Fae. The fae of this this court are generally considered more polite or mannered, albeit they are still very capable of cruelty (but will be more hush-hush, or subtle about it). The Summer Court has free reign over summer solstice and spring equinox months, and are strongest during that time. Needless to say, the fae of this court are frivolous, romantic, passionate, venereal, hot-headed and what have you. They are the epitome of summer.
- The Spring Court: This Court is typically seen as the much "calmer" ones to the benevolence of the Fae compared to Summer. The fae of this court are generally polite, bright-eyed, and bushy-tailed. These fae are more apt to lure humans in with sweet honey and fae food. They also have blossoming curiosity. The Spring Court is strongest during the ends of winter and throughout the spring season, despite the Summer Court having reign. These fae are peppy, quiet, seductive, emotional, and vernal obviously. The epitome of spring.
- The Seelie Court: This "Blessed' or "Holy" Court is seen as more beneficent toward humans. This court is very meticulous about the order and logic of things. The fae of this court are known to seek out humans, to warn those who had accidentally offended them in one manner or another, and to return human kindness with favors of their own. Fae don't like to be in debt, even so, a faery belonging to this court will most definitely avenge insults and are prone to much mischief. The faeries of this court are not always ‘good’ but they will generally help out others.
- The Unseelie Court: This "Unholy" or "Unblessed" Court consists of the malicious and more evilly-inclined fairies. Unlike the Seelie Court, offense is not necessary to bring down their foes or anyone they choose to bother for that matter. As a group, or the 'host' as we Fae call it, they appear at night and assault travelers either 'physically', emotionally, and/or mentally– especially spiritually ignorant folk. Like the fairies of the Seelie Court, neither are the faeries of the Unseelie court always evil. However, when one of them are forced to choose, they will naturally prefer to harm than to help.
- The solitary: Arguably the most dangerous fae of all, for they hold allegiance to no court, not even the one which they were born to. Few of these fae are peaceful, the rest are a risk to all.
These Courts may seem at peace and in balance with one another, but the tides have shifted recently. War is among us, and the courts have taken sides. Winter and Fall have sided with the Unseelie Court and the Spring and Summer with the Seelie Court. Will chaos rein? Will peace be found? Will balance ever be restored? Who will win? Who will lose? Come what may, the story is yours to write, and remember: all is fair in love and war...
