Yeah, the Dalek is the old one. I tried to change it to an anime thing that may or may not terrify some of the more sensitive members of the site. ...I've lost track of how long ago that was. Probably close to a week by now. :/

And this isn't the first time I've tried to get a new avatar but it would just never change. One time I wound up waiting so long that I eventually gave up and picked a different avatar, which managed to switch itself within 24 hours.

I liked the cute Dalek, too, but I'm getting a little tired of it and I want something new. (Besides, I'm most likely keeping the sig, at least for a while longer.) Plus, it might return some day. Wouldn't be the first time I've recycled an avatar.

In the meantime, it would be nice to be able to change avatars when I want to.

You wouldn't be the only one. Apparently back in the 60's the Daleks had a whole series of spin-off movies not connected to the rest of the franchise. That should say something about the Daleks' appeal.

Oh and the best part is it's from a kids' anime.

Terrified me when I was younger. Recently re-watched the series with a friend of mine and decided it would make an amazing avatar.

Fun fact! The anime was in fact directed by a guy formerly known for doing lots of horror anime. Which would explain some things.

Well, now I am going to have to get to know you again. :/ For some reason when someone does a major change to there avatar, I can't seem to recognize them. I keep thinking your Low Key now, also.

Ah, so it's not a problem for just me? It's really annoying... Well, I usually clear cookies, (or site memory or whatever), and strip it down to unicorn before trying to place my image... Sometimes it still doesn't work.

And yeah, I find that girl creepy. 'S like she is staring into my soul.
