Great apes have been known to use rudimentary tools for decades now. Chimps strip twigs of leaves and use them to 'fish' for termites, for example. And they teach their young to do the same. I don't think orangs even eat fish but I could be wrong.

They don't.

They've been using makeshift spears to pick up dropped fruit from the water.
