God Log Horizon sucks so much.

It's already on episode 17 and they're still fighting Goblins.
That little druid girl, Serara is her name IIRC. Why is she so weak, mentally? Why is she crying in every scene? Why does that big-boobied guildmaster keep making moaning sounds, when something good or bad happens? Do the people that made this animu actually think any of these people are worthwhile character that people can relate to? Why did Serara hog so much airtime in the earlier episodes? Does she get killed off later in the series/manga? Please tell me she does.

Also that Ninja chick I keep forgetting her name, why does she keep referring to Shiro as Lord? Are they in the Evony world? I hope she dies too along with the Cat-fencer. The only redeeming character is Naotsugu.

Corniest: Log Horizon
Very corny: SAO
Least corny: .hack//

I've been meaning to watch .hack. SAO wasn't the deepest thing ever but at least it was pretty and the fights were done well. I can't imagine sitting through an anime that's even cheesier than SAO without having the same production value.

SAO is like poor man's .hack, but it was still largely tolerable.
Log Horizon is like poor man's SAO.

LH was literally made for retarded Japanese toddlers, it reads like a manual to a video game. You know those little booklets you get inside video game cases that show you all the controls/basics? That's Log Horizon.

It's a shame that //Link is the last .hack that's been made, because it's a really bad game. At least the plot was great and it tied up a lot of loose ends. Now if only we could get another .hack anime that's comparable to //Sign.

.hack//Sign was the biggest pile of shit I've ever had the misfortune of watching. If these other things are worse than that, goddamn.

I can only vouch for LH being a steaming pile. And then question why you made it as many episodes as you did. I can only do those things.

WARNING: I don't like anime. I don't believe in judging people for the things they enjoy; if you like it, I support you. But you should know my opinion of anime is horribly low.

I don't even bother with anime anymore. The fact that Japanese probably doesn't translate well to English combined with a lot of them seem to have no sense of subtlety really puts me off. The former is really me giving the benefit of the doubt to anime writers because I don't think I can completely blame them for having ridiculous dialogue in a completely different language from the one it was written in.

I watched ten episodes of Attack on Titan. It was the most melodramatic, blunt, and pretentious thing I've ever watched. I remember watching a hulu ad for it that featured a review quote calling it "surprisingly human."

The characters do not act or think like people. They act and think like anime people, which is at the core of so many anime. They've built a medium that contains a completely different race of mammals that are so melodramatic it hurts. Combine that with some of the worst attempts at symbolism I've ever seen, it baffles me that some people like it. Once again, I don't judge people for what they like; I like the Sonic Adventure games, if that makes anyone feel better. In the very few anime I've watched, however, all of them have been a really poor experience, and I have no desire to keep hunting for good ones.

Obviously everyone here is pro-whateverthefuckyouwannado, except for a select few.

Do I care if someone enjoys LH? No, but will that stop me from telling you that LH is one of the most grotesque (but not gory ) things I've ever seen.

(Depends on how muscular you are)

Yeah, that's the sensible way to be, but it sometimes doesn't appear that way when I bash the fuck out of animu, which I'm known to do.

It's taken you 17 episodes to realize you don't like a show?

Does it update weekly?

Because that means it's taken you more than at least four months.

It took me ten minutes to realize I hated AoT, but I felt a mixture of open mindedness and masochism at the time.

If I had the option, I could cut out at least four or five episodes around the middle of the first season and never even really notice.

No, I knew since episode 4.

But I won't stop watching it because I'm masochistic. I'll watch it until it's over, which is probably gonna be in another 8 episodes.

Oh god, I'm going to start pulling out all of my evidence for why I don't like it again.

I can't stop hating it.
