[IC] Mana-script Academy for the gifted (Magical School RP)

"Guess I'm up" said the young boy under his breathe. His brown hair swooped over his left eye and flopped on his forehead as he walked over to the podium.
"Hi there! I'm Slick Sloth Zairos the third. I got eighty seven percent on my written exams and eighty five on my practical. I am a pyromancer and learning arcane magic. I got rank One, four,four. So if any of you guys wanna get to the school council position, you're going up against me!" Slick turned round and went back to his seat.
He let his mind wander, assessing everyone who came up to the podium to introduce themselves to their classmates.

[Rinion]

After a few other students walked up to the podium, including a young man by the name of slick, he seemed very confident and he seemed like he knew a thing or two, rinion decided he would find him after the introductions and introduce himself properly.properly. Rinion took to the stage, he walked tall carrying an element of confidence and he had a long flowing cloak that was draped around most of his body, he cleared his throat then spoke to the crowd.
"Hello I'm Rinion, i acquired 89 on my written exam and 80 on my practical, i specialize in possession magic so watch out ladies." he said jokingly and gave a cheeky smile to a few young lady's in the audience.
Then he left the stage and headed towards his seat, he thought it was best he didn't mention his last name or blood line ability because it may raise a few questions he didn't want to answer right now.

Slick watched Rinion with great caution. Possession magic, specialize. I know that means something... better not worry about it, he seems pretty cool though. I don't wanna be on the bad side of someone with that ability.

Sol watched various students introduce them-selfs on the podium but he only noticed two who didnt seem to be completely boring. Sol sighed, he didn't care much for public introductions but he might as well do it now before he got forced to go up there. He strolled up to the podium and and annouced "Yo, my name is Sol i recieved an 80 on written exams and a 95 on my practical. My magic is wind, but ladies don't blame me when your skirts get blown up," He said with a cheeky grin and walked back down.

Zaria walked up on stage, or rather, she was pushed by an administrator and stood behind the podium. She tapped the mic and it shrieked. Some students other cringed and scowled. Rolling her eyes, she spoke. "Zaria Cain. Written 22. Practical 97. I use shield and propulsion magic." She turned from the mic and was "escorted" back to her seat. One could only imagine what she'd gotten herself into and it's not even the first day.

[Rinion]

Rinion was paying close attention to the other students, he wasn't that bothered but there were a few interesting characters, including 1 Zaria Cain, she had an escort so he figured she had caused some trouble, even tho she had a remarkably high score on her practical he got the feeling she would be to "hot headed" for team work, however saying that Rinion never judged anyone until he properly knew them.

Luna stood, and walked up to the podium, sighing shyly. In her head, she was screaming at herself, trying to figure out what to say. One of her wolf ears twitch nervously, and she begins to speak.
"H-Hi. I'm Luna Moonsinger. I got eighty six on my written test, and eighty six on practical." Her tail sways nervously behind her. "I use shadow magic. So, you never know if it's actually me you're talking to..." A second Luna comes out from a small, shadowy area behind the podium. "...or my shadows." The first Luna disappears, and the second one, the real one, quickly walks back to her seat, a tiny flicker of a nervous smile on her face.

[Rinion]

Another student too catch Rinions attention was Luna moonsinger, she looked very nervous but he was happily amazed by her ability to clone herself, Rinion took out a small pad from his cloak and started scribbling something, as the girl walked past Rinion who was in the front row he smiled and winked at her.

[Mistydrop]

Straightening out her jacket, Senia uncrossed her legs and pulled back her hair. She excused herself from her desk as she made her way to the front of the room to introduce herself with gentle steps. She scanned her audience from the left, seeing some lackluster students in the crowd before she spoke in a chipper voice, spanning her gaze to the right.
"Hello all, my Name is Senia Lenai," she chirped, her hands gripping the podium, " I received a 98 on the written portion of the exam, and an 82 on my practical exam. I exclusively use light magic to manipulate what you see, and to defend myself from other magic types." With that, she let go of the podium and silently went back to her seat with a smile on her face.

Slick had stayed quiet through most of the introduction waiting to be taking to his dorm and meet his roommates.

[JELDare]

An older man walked up to the stage. "Students I will take you all to your dorms please come with me. Boys and girls are in the same dorms, except on different floors."
"Room 102; Sol, Slick and Rinion"
"Room 204; Luna, Zaria and Senia"

[Rinion]

This was Rinions first time at a school like this so he wasn't sure of much but he sat there scribbling away in his pad, he carried it everywhere it was full of ideas, notes, facts and much more, he only hoped if he was going to share a room with someone that they didnt mind helping him with his research...(his pad is every bit of knowledge on every type of magic that he has researched so far, but hes always looking to add new entry's and some of these students use magic not known to him) Rinion smile hopfully.

[Rinion]

Rinion smiled as he heard who he was paired up with, he quickly flicked through his pad "ahh the pyromage and the wind wizzard" he said quietly with a smile "this should be rather interesting".
Rinion proceeded to hide his pad in his cloak and walk over towards the older man to wait for the others.

Great, I might be able to work out how I know Rinion's ability. Slick walked over to where they were meant to meet and pulled out his sheath from under his robe and put it over his shoulder.

[Rinion]

"hello Slick, Im Rinion but you can just call me Rin if you want" rinion said as he stretched his had out to greet the pyromancer.
"nice blade by the way" he said as he saw the sheath slung over slicks shoulder.

[JELDare]

"Thanks man, I hope to be able to work with you... but about the sword." I pull out the sword and it's just the hilt, no blade whatsoever. "I hope you're not the annoying roommate." Slick said smiling happily.

[Rinion]

"Well at the very least its a very impressive hilt" rinion said shaking slicks hand, " And don't worry il try not to be annoying, but tell me if i cross any lines" then Rinion pulled out his pad and quickly jotted down a few sentences but at the same time he kept eye contact with slick and said "Now were just waiting for the wind wizard" then he put his pad away into his cloak.

Zaria was followed to her room by an administrator who didn't leave until she slammed the door in his face. She found the bed she wanted, a window seat, and tossed her bag on it. She began unpacking, choosing exactly what dressers and closets she wanted since she was first to arrive. After unpacking she kicked off her shoes and flopped on her bed, pulling out a bag of gummy worms to snack on.

"Oh Rin! Do you have the key, I wasn't given one?"

[Rinion]

"im afraid not, maby Sol has 1" rinion said as he grabbed his things and headed towards the dorm, "lets wait in the common room til he catches us, i think its connected to the dorm corridor" then he walked towards the common area.
