Never heard of it until now, not really a huge fan to be honest. It's pretty cool, just not really my thing. I've been veering away from most electronic musics lately (I say this while FlyLo is currently playing), my latest interests lie in female vocalists like Fiona Apple. Soap&Skin, and Lorde.

I think this counts as hipster music, she's kinda famous-ish though.

edit: Oh also Doivid, the link in my sig will point you towards all sorts of dumb hipster music that I listen to. All genres encompassed!

yep you're definitely <16

And that's cool, I like some of her music. Mostly because of nostalgia. She has some classic songs like Sleep to Dream, Shadowboxer, Criminal, etc.

So not really feeling the electronic stuff lately? I feel you. I go back and forth.

I kinda like this newer one by her:

Hot Knife is a song that I sing to myself all the time in the shower. Ever since the a capella group that practices in my dorm decided to try it out. How did you know? I like Fiona Apple's album, Tidal, but her albums with several words in their titles... not so much.

Glad to see you're still spreading the great indie tunes around. When I get off my phone, I'll need to dump some stuff here.

haha awesome.

And you know what I've really been into lately? It's just basic electropop contemporary music but I love it: Metronomy. So goddamn catchy.

Not that this isn't true, but I still think it does qualify. At least nowadays it would be considered.

But fine, here's some hipster music for you.

Ambient/Drone will always be a favorite of mine, currently on the hunt for some Brian Eno vinyls.

Foxxie said her albums with several words in their titles... not so much.

Her newest, The Idler Wheel, is quite good. Hot Knife is on there.

I really like Eliza Rickman but nothing of hers is on TBP, and I am poor. Regina Spektor is also amazing, I've heard a few songs of hers before but will now add some to my library. The others, while good, aren't really my cup of tea.

Eliza Rickman is also poor which is why I payed for her album. Also because she gave me a free signed poster and a hug with the download code because ups lost her physical cds.

Aw. Maybe I should pay for her album then. Is there any way to get her Gild the Lily EP? It's sold out on her Bandcamp.

I have no idea, I only have her O, You Sinners album. But I'm pretty sure if you sent her an email asking about it she'd be willing to set you up.
