I'm Thought Manifest, and I am here for role-playing ! What else would I be here for?

I've been role-playing for over a decade, but my last forum kicked the bucket some time ago, and I wanted a casual sort of RP forum on which to lurk and to participate on occasion. It seems I may have found it. See you around!

Hi, Thought Manifest! (Is it alright if I refer to you as Kathryn here? Feel free to call me Jeanette or even Fate if you prefer.) I have to say, I'm so glad you're going to be joining me here!

What do you feel you'd enjoy roleplaying these days? I've been finding it hard to settle on something I'm as passtionate about as I used to be about a number of things. Perhaps I'm just spread too thinly these days on interests that I don't have one particular passion or any one genre that I feel drawn to. I think too I just need to find my creativity again.

I tend to be drawn toward fantasy genres that deal with magic or supernatural beings or whatever. I've been reading a lot of fantasy-based books lately, so that could be why. I do understand what you mean about not having a very strong tug in a particular direction. I think it's probably like a muscle that has to be worked back into shape. It's probably been a year or so since I last role-played, so I have some creative exercising to do to get back into shape as well.

That's been my go-to theme in the past as well. I like to think I'm more inclined to roleplay science fiction, but I suppose most of my previous roleplays were more fantasy orientated. You're most definitely right about it not being unlike a muscle that needs to get into shape.

If you feel like doing a more casual roleplay ("casual" in the sense that it's slower paced and won't be demanding on your free time), let me know. :) I started up an Interest Check thread for a werewolf roleplay, though I'm down to start up pretty much anything with you. EDIT: Oh! I see you already found my thread! You are one step ahead of me, girl.
