After the events of KOTOR 2 (the good ending) the Jedi masters returned to Coruscant and started rebuilding the order with the Exile and any of his followers who were force sensitive. Master Vrook rebuilt the academy on Dantooine and, along with his Padawan Mical, have started training Jedi again. The Exile loaned the Ebon Hawk to the academy on Dantooine, as he doesn't have much use for it while teaching Padawans at the academy on Coruscant.
One day, while making repairs on the ship, one of the students discovers that a significant amount of data on the ship's travel history has been blocked in the Navicomputer. After several weeks of trying to access the information he succeeds. What it says, however, is chilling. A decade ago Revan felt the Darkside pulling him into the unknown regions. There he found a new Force tradition, Ocali, meaning "Oneness", one which drew upon the dark side. To them, the body was merely a conduit, and life merely a shadow. Truly living meant being one with the force, whether alive, as a conduit for its power, or dead, as a part of it. Because the true oneness with the Force could only be achieved through death, to save another person's life, especially one who was strong in the force, was an affront to the force. For that affront, the Jedi must be punished. Revan managed to delay them by trying to teach them the ways of the Sith, and to learn from them. Soon, however, they will strike.
When the Jedi Counsel learned of it, they met and came to a conclusion; the Ocali must be stopped. Jedi Masters are too valuable to send on a mission, no matter how important. If the Ocali were on their way, the Jedi Order would need to train as many Jedi as possible. Because of that, they would send the Ebon Hawk with a crew of newly graduated Knights and promising Padawans to the coordinates in the navicomputer to face this threat on their behalf.

I'll play as the Padawan, partially through his knighthood trials, who hacked the navicomputer and found the history.

Any ideas? I'm always interested in what other people think. Sometimes I miss obvious stuff in RPs.

This isn't me criticizing so don't take it that way I'm genuinely interested in this I think it's a cool idea.

Do you have a direction in mind for your plot outside of taking a team of Jedi to hunt down the Ocali?

Will this be a team solely composed of Jedi? And if not what other archetypes would you like to see? Mandalorians have proven highly effective against Jedi in the past would the council have considered hiring mercenaries to help deal with the issue?

Do you have a plan for planets we will be visiting?

I want to run into Revan eventually. The Ocali are kind of like the ancient Sith. They enslaved other worlds and train the force sensitives among them, killing off the non-sensitives so that they don't contaminate the gene pool. Eventually the Jedi will get involved in a slave revolt, and some of us may need to infiltrate the Ocali.

I would like to see someone from another Force tradition, or even an ex sith. Other specialists, especially Mandolorians, would work well too, as they would come in handy against force users. Maybe even someone from the Republic Fleet. As long as you have a good reason for the Jedi to want you there, Having force abilities isn't necessary.
Themerlinhawk said Mandalorians have proven highly effective against Jedi in the past would the council have considered hiring mercenaries to help deal with the issue?
Yep. There aren't many Jedi to go around. Mandos are proven good against Jedi, so it would make sense to hire them.

Slave worlds, one Force-heavy world where the Ocali live (with crystal caves), and a world of people who are fighting them off.

You can also get the first and second games on Steam. I got each on sale for $2.50, that's a steal.
