With my natural lack of athleticism, I spend a lot of time inside, and I spend a lot of that time drawing, writing, and singing :) This is just a place where I can showcase those things, and hopefully receive some constructive criticism in return :) Please let me know what you think!

As someone who's been studying voice since I was nine years-old, I can honestly say you're a very talented singer, raw as you think it is. I sang musical theater, opera, and then R&B/pop once I finally settled down on a vocal style (though i still sing opera quite frequently). You'll find that a vocal lesson is mostly learning how to "sing classically," but that is because classical voice technique is the basis for all voice technique; you just change the style of singing as you go.

When you sing (especially in pop music), drop your jaw a little bit and really feel your diaphragm working in your higher belt range. You should feel grounded, as of nothing can move you. Once you know you can control your voice doing that, moving any part of the body should be no problem. Dropping the jaw and lifting the fleshy part in the back of your mouth (called raising the palate) when you sing down low ("I would've followed you") adds more depth and color to the voice, making it sound fuller and making it resonate better to allow you to stay on the top side of the pitch.

I heard nothing wrong with your singing, really (: You just need fine tuning at this point. There are plenty of women who would KILL to have talent like you do. Also, try not to wait too long to get vocal lessons. The larnyx, like any other muscle, grows over time and learns natural movements. The older you get, the harder it is to unlearn bad habits and learn good ones. But yeah, you sound FANTASTIC sweetums! ^_^ And don't worry about not sounding the way you want to sound— a woman's voice doesn't mature till about mid 30s!
