Female RPer (Advanced to Casual)

Hi, my name is Rin! I've been roleplaying since 2001... off and on after highschool.

First I'll tell you a little about HOW I roleplay...
* I like to pick out a character I've already made and tailor them to each RP. Most of my characters have been illustrated (I don't use face claims or steal art).
* I like to use lots of NPCs & side characters to flesh out the roleplays I'm in. So along the same vein, doubling is fine.
* I like to plot before we begin. But I also like to get started quickly. So let's do that and then continue to plot OOC as we go along!
* PMs, Threads, IM, Email - any are fine

WHAT I RP:
* Mainly female characters but I'm also fine RPing males
* Fantasy, Medieval or both
* Fandoms - mainly anime (favorites are pokemon, Inuyasha, and Naruto) and both canon and original characters.
* Original worlds. Yours or mine.
* Heterosexual characters
* PG-13 content
* Advanced RPs are good but they take longer. So I really enjoy casual RPs at times too.

WHAT I DON'T RP:
Yaoi/Yuri
Hentai

CRAVING:
Naruto - I like most pairings for this. Also willing to do darker themes and non-romances. I have some interesting OCs for this world as well.

Naruto + Zombies - It would be fun to do once and go all out. I mean ALL OUT. Good guys and bad guys vs nearly endless zombies in a free-for-all.

Inuyasha - I like doing alternate-universes with this world. Canons are fine. But I have many many OCs as well.

Green Rider -

I was reading this book recently and I had an idea for a plot twist that I'd like to RP out. I'm willing to make changes based on your ideas. But for now the plot would go like this:

Carrigan is a King's Messenger ("Green Rider" in the book) and wears a winged horse brooch. It has a magical concealment spell. She and her message pose a threat to a deposed king and he has her captured and brought to him by two elite swordsman--the last of his personal guard. They bring her across the country claiming to be bounty hunters and telling wild lies about her to turn everyone they meet against her. But the stories get more and more unbelievable and one day they meet a man who sees through them but pretends not to. This is helped along by the fact that he can see through the brooch's concealment spell. Perhaps he is a messenger too or WAS at one time--either was rejected eventually or failed to pass his training stage or is simply retired or is the son of a messenger and has some magical ability--enough to see through the concealment spell but not enough to be accepted into the ranks.

There was no such person in the actual book. She had a little help here and there and got away on her own. But I think it would be very interesting to write a version where she is saved by someone. The King's Messengers have special horses. If he is a retired one he could have a horse like hers and they could travel together on equal footing. Or perhaps her horse was sold or injured or even killed? That would give them a better reason to stick together.

Carrigan is a great character so I don't feel the need to come up with another one. I'll be tweaking aspects of her though since she was so frustrating to me in that series.

Doubling generally refers to playing multiple lead characters. More specifically, it tends to mean that you play two characters to play opposite each of your writing partner's two characters. For example, you would play one male character to your partner's female character, and a female to their male. Or whatever other combination you and your partner agree upon. The pairings are not necessarily romantic ones.

So I would roleplay like normal but control two characters (a male and a female) in each post and they would do the same? I guess that's basically what I do when I throw in side characters anyway. Alright, thanks.
