What I'm looking for is someone who is relatively knowledgeable on Doctor Who lore who would be interested in playing a rp with Jenny, his daughter from 'The Doctor's Daughter' of Tennant's era. I'd like someone who can write a paragraph or two at least and can post at least once a day. As far as mature content goes, this won't be going beyond PG-13. I'll take male or female partners and romance is an option. :) I'd just really enjoy playing this. Also, this is going to be like... a Firefly/Who mixup.
Name: Jenny
Parents: Force cloned with the Doctor's DNA.
Race: Gallifreyan
Personality: Playful, witty, stubborn, charming, determined, passionate, protective.
Abilities:
Regeneration - Though it was undetermined whether she actually can in the episode, for the sake of this rp we are going to assume that Jenny can regenerate. However, it will be at a remarkably slower rate than her father, leaving her vulnerable for much longer. Also, she can't change her entire body and she ages since she has less regeneration energy than her father since it was taken from him when he only had a single regeneration left. The more damage her body has to heal before reviving itself the more energy it takes to do so... eventually she will run out.
Fighting - Unlike her father, Jenny doesn't shy away from violence altogether. She will kick ass and take names when she needs to since she was genetically programmed to be a warrior and to fight a war that had been going on for forever. However, she did adopt her father's policy on killing... She will avoid taking a life if at all possible.
Highly Intelligent - You might not think this is an ability per say but when you're constantly having to think your way out of problems it becomes rather handy.
Time and Space Travel - She happened to steal a Vortex Manipulator from a Time Traveler she met on Rhusilayn II and after a lot of trial and error she has managed to integrate it into her space shuttle, therein creating her own rudimentary TARDIS... The difference? It can't make the outrageous time leaps that the TARDIS can one right after the other, it takes it time to cool down after each trip and the time it takes depends on the distance in time it traveled. It has a teleporter that allows you to get to and from the ship while leaving it in space, it can't teleport itself into buildings, only you. It always remains the same size outside and in and can cloak itself so that it appears invisible and it is not sentient in any way. It is also less reliable and doesn't have the safety protocols that keep you from jumping right into a black hole if you don't know where you're headed and are just punching in times and places. It needs frequent maintenance because the Manipulator wasn't originally made to move such a large object and the ship wasn't originally made to withstand time travel, all of it is thrown together manually and all of it consists of old replacement parts.
Multi-lingual - Aside from already being versed in many languages she has a translator bracelet or two that allow her to understand other languages and translates her words to others which is also stolen.
History:
Jenny wasn't born, she was force cloned by something called the Progenation Machine when the Doctor was forced to put his hand in it and it took a sample of his DNA. These 'generated anomalies' are spat out as young adults at the peak of their health and are programmed with the willingness to fight and die for their cause. Jenny was 'born' a soldier and she fought a war that had been going on since either race on Messaline could remember. However, with the Doctor's help she changed her point of view and began trying to help him end the war. At the end of the episode she is shot while trying to protect the Doctor and after waiting for her to regen, which doesn't happen, he leaves. The epilogue, however, shows her breathing out what looks like regeneration energy before she opens her eyes and gets up. She decided afterwards that she would take after her father and see the universe and go on her own adventures... She later leaves a message in a bottle floating in space in hopes the Doctor will come across it and know she is alive and travelling as well.
