I was wondering if anyone would be interested in an RP about a lunar colony. Most likely it will have just been opened, so many, if not all characters, will only just be arriving, however, I may accept one or two characters who have been on it from earlier, for a reason such as they helped build it. Characters will be accepted with all traits, ethnicities, etc..
There would also be good characters, and bad characters, with possibly some terrorists.
Backstory:
March 1st, 2043:
The Permanent Lunar Colony Base (PLCB) is opened for the public. So far, a total of 3219 people have registered to move in, and they will arrive within a month. Many come for the lucrative gold and iron mining businesses, working as supervisors, or machine operators. Some, however, are only following their families, and being housewives and househusbands. Others have decided to set up businesses, seeing as people have to get their food, clothing, and everything else from somewhere, and shipping costs from Earth are too high. Ever since the base was announced there have been objections. Moonpeace, a terrorist organisation devoted to stopping the construction of the PLCB have tried and failed at stopping it. There are fears among the workers that Moonpeace members will come to the PLCB, with the sole purpose of destroying it from the inside. There are even stories of one on our security team, who has been here for months, but those are surely just rumours. Let us hope that God will provide this base will a long and fruitful life.
