Bomb Threat

Apparently everyone in a 20 house radius of a potential bomb thread was evacuated an hour or so ago. And our house was in the radius.

They were saying that a new tenant of a house two doors down from us found what appeared to be "enough dynamite to blow up the whole block" in a compartment in their basement.

Lucky for us, no one was home at the time. Well, it wasn't too lucky because apparently it was all a big misunderstanding. We are home now and chillin'.

I'll give ya some more details when I see it on the news later

Someone called in a bomb threat to my school on the second-last day of term, just before Christmas. We got the day off, and it all totally wasn't suspicious at all.

Reminds me when I lived on a military base. Some nice person saw a pair of sunglasses fly out of someone's car, knew where said person lived. Since the owner of the sunglasses wasn't home, they put them in a plastic bag and hung them on the door. Later when the owners came home they called the bomb squad. I lived in the area that had to be evacuated. A few hours later the true story came out. Even if this did happen post 9-11, really people? Really?!

To be fair, soap has a lot of the same ingredients as explosives, and if I were to be taking explosives cross country / storing it in my home I would package it to look like soap.
