This is my second time doing this, and I think I will produce much more refined results since I've had a chance to see what's actually desired out of these things lol.
Let me begin with a tiny bit about myself. I'm 22 years old, full time college student and I work in a hospital full time as well. So I am very busy but I love roleplaying so I try to make time to reply at least once a day. If I take a few days to reply, it likely means I have a lot of assignments due since most of them get put off and crammed. My most popular and fastest reply days are Thursday through Sunday nights because I work twelve-hour graveyard shifts and in my specific job, I have lots and lots of free time to reply between about 7:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. EST. I can still reply Mondays through Wednesdays, it just may be more random times. Sometimes early, and likely in the evenings. All of my remaining classes are night classes.
Now, about my RP preferences.
( 1 ) I like to RP over PMs. They are just easier for me to keep up with, and they also permit a RP to have mature content without going against the board's rules, which I do not plan on breaking lol.
( 2 ) Now to the concept of mature content. I am a blatant lover of violence, drama, gore, profanity, vulgarity, and when it makes sense in the story, sex. My only big no-nos are the crazy stuff, like pedophilia, incest, bestiality, etc. Some of these things may be mentioned in the RP, but they are things I won't personally RP out and don't care to read of in massive detail.
( 3 ) I like people who work with me to build a driven, innovative plot. I love plot so much, we might as well be cohabiting partners planning on getting married soon lol. I think a RP should have a great story, that pulls people into it and makes you sit on the edge of your seat when you're reading or replying. Of course there are going to be down times, but I love a story that just builds and entangles both the characters and the attention of the writers/readers.
( 4 ) Quality over quantity. I'm not asking you to write a book, because sometimes I do and it does seem to intimidate my more casual partners. But a few paragraphs at least would be wonderful, because I love detail and thick plot, and if I'm replying to something a bit scarce on both, I can start hitting my wall and become slow at replying.
( 5 ) Time Skip is going to be the best man at me and Plot's wedding.
( 6 ) Multiple Characters is going to probably be the Maid of Honor. I do need to go into this a bit. I like a main pairing, like a central set of characters I suppose. But in a 1 x 1 RP, it's hard to drive a plot with just two characters sometimes. So I pull out other characters and use NPCs like it ain't nobody's business (Southern in me coming out, I promise I'm not trying to sound daft lol).
( 7 ) No killing of RPCs without the writer's permission. It's not a pissing contest and I will never make it such. When it comes to fighting I actually like to get together with the writer OOCly so we can discuss the kind of outcome we'd like to see, and then make it as awesome as possible so that it gives you that fluttering, edge of your seat excitement.
( 8 ) I prefer need my partners to be 18 or older, just because my RPs are so adult and maturely themed at times. Plus I curse like a sailor OOCly, and have a very scarce sense of shame when it comes to talking openly about concepts and plots.
( 9 ) I do tend to play more females than males. But I will play males sometimes. My trick about males is that I hate RPing with Mary Sue / Stepford female characters. I get bored very quickly of that kind of partner, and I tend to play controversial or "fucked up" (excuse my American) men. Hell, I play screwy females too, who am I kidding lol. I do not care about the gender of my partner as a writer!
( 10 ) Things I'm not too keen on playing: furries, children, animals- literally just animals, pedophiles, necrophiliacs, futa, femboys.
( 11 ) Here's the big one... Have fun! Let me know if you won't be around for a few days at a time as I'll do the same for you. If you want to keep up with one another OOCly, let me know, I'll give you my skype. Please don't blow it up because I'm awful at getting back to people sometimes. If you are weary of the story, let me know. If I just love your writing style or you want to keep RPing, just not that particular RP, let me know. We can try something else.
And the kinds of things I like!

-Modern Realistic- / -Modern Supernatural-
Character A ( police officer / firefighter / paramedic / nurse / doctor / SWAT member / ex-soldier ) is trying to cope with some dark truth of their past. Something they did or something that they've lost that warps their current reality and is leading them down the road to a breaking point. They feel helpless in the face of the massive world and the hopelessness of humanity, wondering if people are even worth saving / fighting for? The downward spiral begins to lead them towards new and dark venues of feeling alive, such as ( drugs / sex / BDSM / underground fighting / stealing / white collar crime / trafficking / etc ), where they meet Character B.
--> Depending on the venue taken will help gauge what kind of character goes with this. I can play Character A or Character B, though I'd love to play Character A.
--> Mature, duh.
Untamed ***
- Modern Supernatural - / - Modern Realistic -
Character A stumbles upon something strange during a ( walk in his local woods / vacation / hiking trip / etc ). He finds evidence that someone has been living in the woods, and continues his exploration perhaps against his better judgment. As he does so, he finds an unconscious female and takes her in because ( explore your own reasons here ). But what he finds out is that he's got way more than he bargained for. Character B is what psychologists would term as a "Wild Child", having been raised in the wild. She is nearly savage and shameless, with no concepts of modern culture or the current language. She is expressive with her body language and it's about the only way she communicates. Turning her in means sending her off to be institutionalized, but keeping her could lead to trouble too. Especially when Character A realizes that Character B was apart of a wildling cult that has been living in the woods for hundreds of years undetected.
--> M x F. I'd like Character A to be male, and I would like to play Character B- a female.
--> Mature. Very mature. Lots of nudity, violence, sexual themes, and occult concepts in this one. If it's done as a modern supernatural, there will be supernatural concepts. If it's done as a realistic, it'll just be occult but no real magic- just taboo shit. I think this one would make an interesting romance if done right.
Shadows of Skyscrapers
- Modern Realistic - / - Modern Supernatural -
Character A is a rich, wealthy individual. They have worked hard and come into the position in the past month of being the CEO of a pharmaceutical company. They've finally achieved that top floor penthouse office that overlooks the city. They've conquered the struggle and have got prestige and success in their grip- life could get no better. That is until Character B comes along. They are from the low class / poor caste / low-middle class, with a vendetta against the company because of a drug that ( killed a family member / poisoned them / killed a loved one / put a loved one into a coma / gave a loved one cancer / etc ). So they've been building a plan ( or use supernatural means ) to kidnap or strike vengeance against Character A.
--> Violence, bondage, controversy, plot plot plot.
--> I will play Character A or Character B, and would prefer to play a female for this one.
--> This will develop into a major plot-line about a drug conspiracy with the pharm. company itself.
Vicious Vitality***
- Medieval / Fantasy -
Character A is a healer / physician in a male-dominated society, her city state being an annexed free territory on the coast. Playing a priceless role in her society, Character A's safety is put into question when threats find their way into her home. Character B, a ( head guard / bodyguard / warrior / chieftain / assassin ), is assigned to ( if Chieftain, will do of his own will ) protect Character A. And when a guerrilla attack threatens her life, they have to escape. A period of time lapses until it's safe to return, during which time Characters A & B have grown close. As they return to their life in the free territory of Eivaro, they have the suspecting eyes of Character B's wife and the males of the territory who suspect Character A of having been adulterous on a man she is intended to wed. With war well approaching and the threats far from over, society and larger scale conflict caves in on both Eivaro and Characters A & B.
--> Gender socialization, violence, controversy, adultery, mature content. I'd like to play Character A- a female healer.
--> Medieval stuffs, so fantastical races if you want as long as it's not Godly or Demi-Godly.
--> Large scale and small scale conflicts.
--> Multiple characters will be a key in making this elaborate plot function.
Bloodied Beast***
- Modern Realistic -
Character A is a male whose place in society has always made him underhanded and at the fault. But he has managed to maintain and polish one skill above all the rest that keeps him afloat and living a satisfying life. He is an underground fighter in the streets, and famed for it. He's known as a beast among men, and in his success, is also greatly hated. Character B is a blogger trying to hit her big break. She knows she has to find something that draws readers in, a story to tell that gives her the popularity she needs to hopefully get picked up by a newspaper or magazine for her own column. She's never had it too rough and lives a rather proper, clean lifestyle. But her world gets flipped when she hears whispers about the Beast and decides to investigate- getting too involved in her own story of him to back out when things start getting dangerous.
--> I'd like to play the female Character B.
--> Lots of violence, blood and gore. Mature content of course. Possible romance.
--> I'd love to hear later plot ideas to help build this up. Otherwise it will likely go into police involvement when the story publishes, and maybe Character A has outstanding warrants, or has murdered someone in the past. It could be a gang that comes for him, seeing him as an asset, etc etc. Lots of possibilities. I like this one.
Rose Red in Thorns***
- High Fantasy -
{ No guns, modern tech, some steam weaponry but otherwise medieval tech, high magic accessibility though magic is revered as potent }
In a world known as Uros, magic is revered as one of the most dangerous arts one can take up. It's whispered that sorcerers have to barter their soul with daemons to gain access to supernatural powers. Others believe that it is one's humanity and morality that is sacrificed for this knowledge. Countless theories exist about how magic exists and what it's deadly cost may be. And while the discovery of magic's ability to be wielded by man has infected countless kingdoms and crossroads with greed and mystic violence, there was one kingdom whose monarchy refused to let magic break into its people's hearts and ruin their pride. They were assailed by beasts and darkness, but they stood strong, and it only brought the daemons of the Nether to creep closer and closer- wanton of a pure nation and its virgin souls. As the King and Queen produced a daughter, an especially depraved daemon known only as Locust offered them a bargain- their kingdom forever safe from the Nether if they sacrificed their only child and virgin daughter to them. The King accepted after several years of thinking on it, and the Queen refused bitterly. Locust came to collect their daughter, Rosalia Red. The Queen, unable to part with her daughter, made a pact with another daemon named Ivalice, and used the power given to her to cast an abjuration around Rosalia to protect her from being killed by Locust. While the spell worked, the Queen and King both paid with their lives for betraying the contract with Locust. And Locust saw that he could not kill Rosalia, so he had to settle for something else. Locust cursed the Princess, an odd curse that would keep her from ever knowing love...
Years later, Rose Red is twenty-three years of age. She was overthrown from her seat because she would not take a King. Her kingdom, the Kingdom of Vyredd, was reclaimed and ruled anew by a council of those who overthrew her, now making it the Red Republic. Exiled from the Red Republic, Rosalia has resigned to living in an isolated part of the woods where she thinks she herself is a daemon as the whispers say she is. She has lost hope that she would reclaim her own Kingdom, because she cannot be near another without causing them imminent harm. But when one of the Red Republic's advisers reveals himself as Locust, and begins the hunt for Rose Red, she is left with little decision of what to do. Her choices become to run, or to die...
--> I will be playing Rosalia. The male counterpart I will leave up to you, though I'd love to see a male character playing either a hired mercenary or assassin sent after her by the Red Republic, a thief who decides to use her as leverage for his own reasons to barter with the Red Republic, or maybe even a member of the Red Rebellion who hopes to return Vyredd to a monarchy in the line of the rightful heiress.
--> Mature content, possible romance.
--> Basic medieval races. Though the most dominant one is human. Elves are a scarce breed in Uros that think humans are mad with power. Daemons will be playable as story-driving characters, such as Locust who I will be playing as a major antagonist.
--> I'm open to any other ideas you have for a character if you're interested.
Hit me up if you're interested. This interest check is way better than my last one so if you replied to my last one with no reply, check here because I am more likely to reply to this one since I knocked out way more information in this attempt.
