The Pyramid

It was an ordinary morning until a giant pyramid appears in the middle of Washington DC. The natural guard surround it warily (let's face it what else would they do?). A door opens in the center of the pyramid. For over a week nothing comes out. Maybe it was an empty vessel? They scientist are eager to go inside and see what they can learn about this strange phanomon. Inside what they discover surprises them. Not only is there technology they have never seen but information on other worlds and beings. Upon exploring the pyramid more they discover two levels of cells. Each cell contains a male and female of every mystical creature man as ever dreamed up and some they have never imagined.

So whats the players role in the story? I feel bad cuz I think I keep bashing on your posts, but I promise I'm only trying to improve the idea. Like this for instance reminds me of Shadowrun, and I like the setting, but you have only given me a setting rather than a scenario.

I dont mind. I always welcome questions. The characters role depends on what they are. The scientist are trying to identify and catalog the species inside. The national guard are trying to keep the being inside the pyramid from leaving until they know their not a threat. The being inside are mostly trying to figure out how they got into the pyramid, why they are in the pyramid, and where they currently are.

So is the conflict just trust between the various factions? Or is there a larger related unforseen threat?

Right now just lack of trust between the factions but their might be a threat hidden within the pyramid.....
