A Few Bad Men (or women)

I was thinking about putting together a crew, er, rather a roleplay. A roleplay that takes inspiration from movies like Reservoir Dogs and Heat. I would like to start out as a crew of nobodies who strive for professionalism on the job. A bank here and there, with some smaller hits to supplement our hoardes of cash. Maybe work our way up to some big heists a la Ocean's Eleven.

We could have our own specialties and things like that. In between jobs, we could have personal conflicts, potential betrayals, etc.

Would anyone be interested in starting a little crime spree? Do anything to get loot and get away? Also, if you have any suggestions or requests, we can work together to make it happen.

I'm mostly in the the heisting, although getting a central plot might be welcomed. Not sure what it could be, although I kinda like the idea of slowly escalating from no ones to real professionals.

Okay, so I was either looking to do mid 90's (cell phones aren't so prominent so they would be such a big deal) or near future. Technology will make a big difference, seeing as there would be way more cell phones and police would have more options but so would our crew.

So does anybody have any preferences?

I would go for the future option, mostly since it gives more creative freedom.

Yeah future seems to be the slightly better option, only because number 1 in my opinion the 90's suck and number 2 yeah it will definitely give our crew way more options, such as having a tech specialist.
