Prologue
The year 1763, the French have just gotten victory of the English in the 9 years war (Name change cause of Alt History) and have cemented themselves victor of the bloody conflict. They left the British colonies alone in the battle, but forced the English too allow any colony that wanted too join France join France. This may make the French look powerful, unbeatable, but the war cost them also. The French created acts that lowered taxes, but made it so all tax revenue went towards the French crown creating a split between The French in Europe and the French in America. The people in Louisiana stated that they had rights and they deserved funding too make there lives better. The French monarch simply ignored them too fund his new hairdo and make Paris look pretty.
March 1st, 1767
A man in New Orleans shot a General of the French army dead for flirting with his wife and threatening too get his whole family arrested. The general grabbed his son and started too point a gun at his head for the man telling the General too get out. When the general stated he would shoot the mans son the man fired killing the General on the spot. Police where there in 5 minutes, and the man was exterminated by firing squad.
September 16th, 1769
Multiple people in the French army assault females in New Orleans for stating that taxes where unfair too there lives. The soldiers shot 3 of the women and 1 died. This created an even bigger split between colonist and native Europeans back in Europe.
December 31st, 1775
The first signs of Revolution where clear, the people all across Louisiana (note in this Alternate history Louisiana is the name for all colonies that where given during the Louisiana purchase) men and women who called themselves Liberté Guerriers (Liberty Warriors) picked up arms and declared independence from the French too form the Republic of Louisana (République de la Louisiane in French, Or just Louisiana/Louisiane).
January 10th, 1776
The British who still held a grudge against the French because of the 9 years war joined the side of the Republic of Louisiana stating that there right too independence is just and they deserve it. The British sent troops towards Canada (which was still owned by France because France won the 9 years war), and attempted too hold of the troops there while Louisiana attempted too gather official troops too fight off French invaders.
October 31st, 1777 (Siege of New Orleans)
As the General of the French army and his troops surrounded the city of New Orleans, the troops of Louisiana new that the first big battle was on.
November 19th, 1777 (Siege of New Orleans)
As Louisiana troops charge the French army, they are all shot down, this day both sides suffered thousands of deaths, with most on the French side.
January 19th 1778 (Siege of New Orleans)
As for the final time, the Louisiana army of New Orleans overtake the French and save New Orleans as a Freedom Fighter state.
September 1st 1780 (Paris)
As the leader of the New country of Louisiana talks with the French king, they forge a treaty, it states that from here on the Sovereign state of Louisiana is free from French control and is now independent.
So yeah, as you can see from above, this is a Alt history American Revolution, this time instead of the 13 colonies, we have Louisiana. Also, for any people out there that are like ah, this isnt accurate, I will add more and flesh out the story for the official release. This rp will take place after the Revolution.
