The Hanging Grimstones, Sundown Forest…

Somewhere in the Sundown Forest, deep within the Western Dusk, one may stumble upon a clearing. In this clearing, he or she may find the Hanging Grimstones, colossal stone monoliths constructed thousands of years ago by a lost civilization. Upon closer inspection, he or she will discover that the Hanging Grimstones are organized in a large circle where the individual stones are coupled together with another, and a third is positioned on top of them. Then, in the center, if one dares venture further into this clearing, he or she will find a gigantic stab, at least two or three times as large as any individual stone on the outside of the ruin. For somebody who has been around the world and seen many things, this might not be all that impressive. After all, that somebody would undoubtedly know the power fully-evolved Pokémon, and recognize that any number of species could have moved these huge stones with Strength, just like with any other large boulder. What really sets the Hanging Grimstones apart, however, is that the stones float…

These stones float about thirty feet from the ground and resonate an aura so powerful that it could be seen by the naked eye. Then, if one was to venture to the center, strange runes carved into the stones would begin to glow, emanating even more power, producing even more energy. Even the most seasoned traveler or the most knowledgeable scholar would be unable to decipher these runes, make sense of what they say or what they mean, as the language they were written in has long since been lost, and nobody has thus far been able to crack this code and uncover the secrets of the Hanging Grimstones.

Nobody knows anything about this phenomenon. What exactly are the Hanging Grimstones? Who arranged them in such a way, and for what purpose? How did the creators make them float like this, and likewise, what powers them? What are these strange runes inscribed into the stones? Are they instructions of some kind, and if so, to what? Scholars from across the world have only been able to speculate as to their purpose. Most dismiss the Hanging Grimstones as a gigantic sacrificial altar to an unknown deity, possibly Arceus, maybe Giratina. Some believe the Hanging Grimstones to be related to the Great Cataclysm, but historians dismiss this claim, asserting that these monoliths were arranged long after the Great Cataclysm by a lost civilization that lived and died in the few thousand years after that catastrophic event…

Nobody except Kulero.

“By Arceus!” Kulero shouts. “It’s working!”

Many consider Kulero the Alakazam, also known as the Great Seer, to be one of the most powerful and influential Pokémon in the Western Dusk. Although not nobility in his own right, dukes and duchesses, kings and queens, and even emperors and empresses bow before him, recognizing the power that he wields and seeking the wisdom of a Pokémon considered to not only be able to see both the past and the future but also one who can read the thoughts, feelings, and desires of anyone in his presence. It is said that Kulero has his own interpretation as to what the Hanging Grimstones are and that he spent many years trying to figure out how to translate the runes and operate the monoliths. When prompted, he once gave an explanation to what he believed the Hanging Grimstones to be: “I believe them to be a portal between our world and another, possibly many more. By channeling the power of the Original One's power through these stones, I believe that I can activate this portal, possibly giving me access to the means of ending this ten thousand year era of darkness!”

FLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!

Kulero stands at the center of the Hanging Grimstones, before the mystical stone slab directly above him. He attempts to draw upon the power of the Original One, using his powers to speak to Arceus himself and implore it to channel its power into his body. With both hands in the sky and his two spoons pointed upwards, he prays aloud to the Alpha Pokémon. Though nobody has ever witnesses Kulero channel the power of the Original One, it is thought that both he and the Great Seers before him have that power, and when they are in need, they can connect to Arceus itself and draw from its immense power.

FLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!

A bright flash appears on the horizon, followed by the cackling of thunder followed by another flash and another boom.

SWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!

The wind begins to pick up, and within a matter of seconds, it goes from a gentle breeze to a swirling vortex that consumes all around it…

Enter you. You awaken on the grassy ground with no knowledge of who you are, where you are, or how you got here. You feel confused and disoriented, and when you try to stand, you topple over and back onto the ground. Your eyesight is blurry, and all you can make out are dancing shadows in the near distance. Likewise, your hearing is somewhat impaired, and though you can hear somebody speaking, you have no idea what he or she is saying. Your sense of smell appears somewhat off as well, though you can vaguely make out the aroma of nature and get the sense that you’re in a forest of some kind. Lastly, your taste appears dulled, and if you ate dirt on your way back to the ground, that dirt is tasteless and otherwise bland.

Nevertheless, after a short time, your begin to collect yourself and regain your senses.

You appear to be in a calm grassy opening in the middle of a forest, sometime just before dusk: Sundown Forest. You see a number of other individuals around you, though your vision is too blurry and you’re still too disoriented to make out just who they are. Likewise, there appears to a man standing several feet away from you, shouting something you still can’t understand. You wonder to yourself, “What’s going on here? Where am I, how did I get here? Who are all these people, and what are they doing here?”

The first thing that you can see in any kind of detail is that man standing in the near distance… an Alakazam!

You hear him shouting, “It worked! It worked!”

“I can’t believe it worked!” He continues.

Wait… an Alakazam?

Confused at this revelation, you stare oddly at him for a second, trying to get an idea of just what's going on around here.

Then it hits you!

You’re also Pokémon!

A blinding flash, everything turning white and the clear unbroken sound of ringing to the point where it made her head spin and hurt, either that or it was the fact that she just tumbled down from the heavens and crashed to the ground with a rather soft thud from her small yet nt as fragile body. With a gasp and cough as she after a moment of struggling for breath could draw it once more she finally tried to push herself to her paws only to fall to the ground once more. Her ears were still ringing loudly, and her body and head hurt more than she ever had experienced before making her feel both sick and queasy. It didn't take long for her coughing to cause her to hurl up whatever still remained in her belly, and as her vision finally cleared it was blurry and she could see at least three copies of everything in her short field of vision. Groaning loud, yet unheard by her own ears she fell to her side panting heavily, she looked around and couldn't understand what had just happened and couldn't recall why she felt so much pain. In the distance she could make out shapes, and shadows of others yet she didn't know what or who they were, wondering to herself as she laid there if she had suffered a serious head injury and possibly a severe concussion. She coughed again and breathed heavily and strained, feeling her nose tingle from the scents of nature was the only thing that soothed her pain. For a while she just laid there , half unconssious as she did her best as an attempt to recover. She was scared of what had happened, she was afraid of where she had landed and much more so was she afraid of who was around her.

In the distance she saw, what looked like a man and she dearly hoped he was friendly and intended to help her. Yet to her surprise it seemed that the man did indeed not move a muscle to help at all, and it seemed as thus she were abandoned to her own fate and she wondered if she were about to die. Groaning and struggling to her feet she finally managed to stand, slowly making her way to the side where she rested towards a tree. She took deep breaths and tried to focus on waking up, using her left paw to rub her eyes until she could see the man...no the pokémon stand there not very far away. She took an quick shocked breath and fell back on her bum, looking around quickly she yelped as her neck hurt slightly causing her to get like a shock through her body when she moved it. Yet, when she looked down to her chest her eyes went wide, she...was a Pokémon, and gaspign loudly she almost felt like fainting right there and then but...something prevented her. She shook her head, she didn't recall things...maybe she had a concussion after all and maybe she always been a Pokémon. She did recall being human but maybe that had just been a dream, and without much thought about it she decided it was best to not think about it and just focus on what seemed real ahead of her.

Looking around she saw a lot other pokémon, this making her feel uncomfortable as they all were strangers to her, making her quickly try to access the situation if she needed to remove herself from their presence or not. Eventually Freya decided that to hide behind a nearby grounded rock would be the best thing to do, that way she could make out if they were hostile or not. It would be about now her eyes grew wide once more as she noticed how rocks floated in the air...yet she only frowned as she guessed that was as normal as suddenly being pokémon 'again?'. She spat a bit and decided to watch from the shade of the rock, the sky seemed a bit off yet nature around her too...it surely all had to do with her concussion and she must've had odd dreams and everything. She thought it was rather silly, perhaps she had dreamt of being human after somewhat meeting one, and then suffered a concussion or somehting and gotten into a coma...perhaps she just awoke today after being in coma for ages...but the question then was...who the heck saved her from her concussion?...was it the Alakazam?....

She thought about approaching, yet she was too scared because the Alakazam were also an stranger, she was unsure how to react and decided that staying hidden would now be the best cource of action, she just hoped that it would work and that someone would eventually call her if they knew who she was. Thinking a bit she wondered if she herself knew who she was, and while thinking about that fact a single name entered her mind...Freya...yes she must be Freya, Freya the....green fuzzy fur with creamy tip....Eevee...she must be an Eevee. She nodded to herself as she accepted the fact that she were Freya the eevee, she didn't know who her relatives were but maybe she could find them...that was if they were still part of this world or appart of it in the first place. Sitting down and leaning back towards the rock she would watch the sky while listening to the ruzztling of the leaves as the wind passed through them and made her fur flutter in the breeze. She smiled slightly and wiggled her ears, this was certainly not so bad at all...and slowly the pain and the rest of the bad feelings started fading away, making her relax more and more.

His body felt unbelievably strange. He had no feeling in his legs, or one of his arms. In fact, the one arm he had feeling in seemed to be on top of his head, something that had to be impossible. As his sense began to return, he could make out the gentle rustling of leaves and grass. He found it soothing...until he remembered that he was missing limbs! 'Oh for the love of god, please tell me that I still have my kidney' the fear of having his organs harvested suddenly gripped him. It was the first thing that came to mind since he couldn't remember how he had gotten here...wait a second 'I...I can't remember who I am! I don't even know my own name!!!!' stranded in a forest with amnesia, panic gripped him 'okay, just stay calm' he tried to calm himself down as he began to look around. Then he saw the talking Alakazam...and he began to cry 'oh just great! A talking Pokemon! I'm either in a coma or fucking insane!' As he slowly rocked his body back and forth, he suddenly had the strange sensation that he was sliding out of something. Panic once again gripped his mind as he moved the one hand he had feeling in to feel around...and that's when he saw his one and only limb; it was some strange sash/arm...the same kind that a Honedge had. And that's when it hit him "I'M A FUCKING SWORD!!!!!" he once again began weeping

In his depression, he began to frantically search his mind for any useful memory he could find. This body felt far too alien, something was clearly wrong here...other then the memory loss. Also, if he was a Pokemon, then why did a talking Alakazam make him think he was insane? There was just too many things that didn't make sense, something was very wrong here. While this body only had one limb, he woke up expecting four, that sent off warning sirens in his head. When he tried to scan him mind for some scrap of information, all he came up with was a name; Caliburn. Was that his name, it didn't sound quite right, but it seemed to fit his new form...for some reason. Using his sash arm to push himself up, he saw there were other Pokemon around him looking just as disoriented as he did. 'Did...did the same thing happen to all of us?' he wondered. 'Did someone do this to us!?' The idea that someone had messed with his head like this infuriated him. Wait...did someone mess with mind? Maybe it was just his body...or maybe it was both. Gah! This was so confusing

I tossed and turned in what felt like a dream. I couldn't physically feel anything but I had blurry images of something in the distance. Everything else around me was a basically an open field in who knows where. I seen a Pokemon, not sure which since my vision looked like I was just about to hit blindness. I could make out small things like size and figure but I couldn't tell what exactly it was. A Pokemon with a human-like figure, which narrowed it down to still a hell load of them. It was large in size, too. At least that is what I could see. My vision could be severely lying to me.

My other senses were in a better state then my vision but not by much. I kept my limbs still and started with my sense of smell. The air had a familiar smell of grass, lots of grass. That would explain why Everything but the figure was either a light green or a blue. I couldn't taste anything, nor did I plan on testing that out. All I would get was a taste of grass or dirt and I was not in favor of trying new things at the moment. My hearing was lacking but I could hear the figure obviously having an episode about something working. That left my limbs.

I could not bear moving myself completely at once, feeling like I had as much energy as a dying battery. I started by moving one of the only two body parts that had feeling I must have been on my side and laying on the others but that would be solved soon. I lifted my arm, or where my arm was supposed to be, only to have an odd feeling like something was not right. I felt a limb move but it felt different than an arm. I then tried my leg but it felt normal, at least as normal as my 'arm'. They felt...smaller but that made no sense. Maybe I just didn't have all of my feeling back quite back, yet. After another minute of trying to get my bearings, my vision came back and I was met with an unexpected sight. I was correct about being laying on a plain but in my peripheral vision, I could make out a little more of what I saw before. It was as I had figured, a human-like figure and my guess of it being a Pokemon was correct. Oddly enough, that is what was also screaming. I played off as a figment of my imagination or a dream, if I was in one still, feeling like I would be able to move the rest of my limbs. I looked away from the Pokemon, identified as an Alakazam, and seen other unfamiliar sights. There were other Pokemon spread around the field. I could only see a few from the position I was currently in but one got onto its feet and moved.

I pushed myself up with what I had thought was my arm. Now that I could feel and see again, I could see why my limbs felt different.

'Oh...well...' I was met with a disturbing sight. When I looked down to get a quick glance, I was met with a sight of four...legs and no arms, just legs and short at that. I was not sure what was happening but I could easily throw the idea of this being a dream away since I had clear thoughts, vision, and feeling. Whatever was going on, I had changed into an animal or something. That explained why everything looked so close and some looked abnormally large.

After some trouble of pushing myself onto my already unfamiliar and unsteady feet, I starting walking forward to no general location. It felt oddly natural, though, to walk this way. There was something else odd to add to the mental list of screwed up things that happened only in the last few minutes.

'Um...what?' When I took another quick look around at my physical attributes, I had found out what I was. I was a Shinx and another thought came to me as well. I had a name that I remembered as if I had been called by it my whole life. Lixy the Shinx and I was laying on a field of green grass with a bunch of other Pokemon and a crazy Alakazam. I wasn't exactly interested in the other Pokemon as I was just trying to get my bearings, if I hadn't already lost my mind as well.

I had no recollection of who I was, other than a Shinx named Lixy. I could not remember where I came from, anything about who I was, or how I got to where I was at right now. I just had a name.

A flash hit him, causing him to lose sight of everything for a moment. Rubbing his eyes multiple times unable to comprehend what had happened. Moving around he looked at everything near him unsure of what was going on. Again he rubbed his eyes, but this time noticed something different, his hands were very hairy! Not only that, but they were orange. Panicking he looked around himself, and nearly lost control whenever he noticed that, I am some sort of....Creature. He thought and thought to himself unsure of what he was. Thinking for a moment, searching his mind as much as he could. His only memory was that he was Streel. Am I a Streel? Is my name Streel? He thought to himself sitting down. Only to realize his tail had fire at the end of it. Whaaaat! He thought as he stood up in a panic once again.

He had memories, but simple ones, math, language, and a bit of science. But where had he learned these? He had no memories of the past whatsoever, and he needed to figure out what was going on, and quickly. Continuing his thoughts he realized. "Whbllbppt-." He spit out, almost unable to speak for a moment. "M-My name is Streel!?!" He said cursing the sky, "Wait, that's not it.....I am a chimchar?!" He said staring at his ignited tail and orange fur. Thinking out loud he realized. "And, where....Where am I?" He said last almost asking the sky to just drop him a note.

Picking a direction and walking that way, Streel soon grew curious. Can I make fire? he thought walking, and then flicking his wrist. Nothing exactly happened though, but what he did notice is that he had really sharp claws at the moment. Hm, so no fire, but totally able to scratch stuff. Growing tired through his walk he was unsure of if he would ever find where he was going, but whatever, he would find SOME sort of civilization sooner or later. Besides, he couldn't be the only thing on the planet.

Slowly her eyes began to open, though swiftly closed again with a painful throb from the front of her skull. The world around her was spinning and all she could do was hope for it to stop sometime soon, and maybe settle her stomach too. Her entire body had a bit of a dull ache, something hard was jabbing into her ribs, too! Just what had happened to cause such a mess!? It was almost like she had been playing in the mountains somewhere and accidentally clocked her head on a rock or low hanging tree branch. All at once so many thoughts burst into her mind, something was amiss here.

While still laying upon the ground with her eyes closed, she attempted to recall what she had been doing previously. But no matter how hard she tried, everything was a blank aside from a rather distant and foggy memory of a rather loud thundering sound of a storm and painfully bright flash. And then nothing, blankness... Normally she would have dwelled more on such an important thing, she didn't even really remember her name! But whatever it was that was jabbing into her ribs was becoming a bit more painful with each breath, it was time to move! Maybe... at least to get this damned whatever it was from jabbing herself.

Grudgingly she carefully jerks an arm free from under herself, quickly starting to feel around the area around her. Even without her eyes opened, she noticed her range of reaching was remarkably shorter. Shorter compared to what? She couldn't recall at the moment, but that wasn't important yet. She continued to feel around the grass for a few moments before she stops eventually, finally reaching around to her rib area to grab the protruding object. Her hand would fall upon something a bit unexpected. It was something hard, but the texture was all wrong for a rock or tree branch. In fact, it was oddly smooth and cool to the touch, despite having been laid on. Maybe she had not been there that long...? Or had she been?

Suddenly she gives the strange structure a good tug, slightly rolling onto her back the best she could. Another thing she noticed... her head felt kind of heavy, and she couldn't even roll over all the way. Something was jutting out from her back. Panic was starting to well up within her as she tried to focus on whatever she had been laying on. Luckily with how she was not laying, it was free without any problems... Her eyes slowly open to inspect the object... now only to add to her growing panic. In her grasp was nothing other than a bone. But her vision was still quite blurry, it looked more like two, and fuzzy. But knowing how she had her hand on it, she was sure there was only one, and it was not fuzzy in the slightest! One end of the bone had been sanded down or something, it appeared to be part of a femur from what she could figure... But why was she laying on a bone? And why was her head feeling so heavy?

As her internal panic began to grow, she forced herself upright, now in a sitting position. At this point she could be screaming, but it doesn't quite reach her throat. She continues to gaze blankly at the bone in her hand, sucking in a shaky breath as she -finally- notices her hand. It was much smaller than she remembered, she was missing a few fingers... in fact, she now had what appeared to be claws. Quickly she placed the bone down into her lap, examining both hands. Two claws on each, one larger than the other, the smaller appearing to be more of a thumb. She again picks back up the bone and sets it back down, only to pick it back up again and to set it back down...

Despite the panic that was still growing in her chest, the thing that bothered her now was her head. It felt oddly heavy. In a way she could get use too, though. In fact, it really wasn't that big of a deal. It was just something else to focus on at the moment instead of the reality she was starting to conclude. The two-clawed hands carefully reach up and start to poke at her 'face'. Though are quickly met with something else, in similar texture to the bone that now sat across her lap. She continues to pat and poke at it for many seconds, sucking in another sharp breath and slowly exhaling. A skull, was she wearing a skull? With another glance down towards the bone in her lap and guessing from the coloration from the back of her hands and her belly... a Cubone?

She shakes her head in full disbelief, such a thing... just was not possible, right? Right? Without warning, her eyes would begin to water and tears start to swell in her eyes! It takes only a few moments, but tears swiftly start to roll down the sides of the skull under her eyes, dripping onto the grass as a soft sob escapes her. The skull itself would suddenly begin to shake, causing it to emit a rather mournful sound. Though even as she lifts her hands up to try and push the skull off, it does little good. The tears and sound would continue, even after she grabs the boneclub once more and pushes herself onto shaky feet. She finally starts to look around, noticing... there were others.

Mainly though an Alakazam caught her attention... he seemed to be going mad with joy? Or was he purely insane? Swiftly the tears would come to a stop, along with the terribly sorrowful sound her skull-helmet was making. A now rather angry look filled her gaze, but she was quite possibly ready to cry again at any moment. What had that pokemon done to cause this? Had he caused it, even? Or was he just here to clean up the aftermath of what someone else had done? Taking another look around, she quickly decided it was his fault! And without even a moment of hesitation she would start to move forward as fast as she could!

Sadly, she does not make it far. Not familiar with this form quite yet, she promptly trips over the very grass that was wet from her own tears and takes a fantastic nosedive right back into it.

Ringing. That's all Luchell could feel at first: an awful ringing echoing through his head. From the moment he gained consciousness it was a little overwhelming, leaving him immobile and unable to open his eyes; nor could he hear or feel much. For the first moments, it felt as if the noise had been wracking his brain for hours, even though he had just woken up. Those first seconds were the longest, but soon Luchell rolled himself off of his back and only just pushed himself up onto his knees, clutching his head with a tiny clawed hand. On the inside, he could feel himself reeling.

"Mnn... What happened?" he mumbled, only loud enough to make out what he said himself. Everything was still obstructed by the noise in his head, so it was hard to hear even his words. "Maybe I..." Luchell abruptly stopped. 'Maybe I what'? Where was he going with that? What was he about to say? His thoughts stalled when nothing came up—he wasn't even sure himself what. It was a strange gap.

As the seconds passed, the ringing began to die down and Luchell could start feeling the rest of his senses return. He could make out some shouting and make out the natural light through his eyelids. When the boy tried to open his eyes, though, he was forced to squeeze them shut again right away from the burn of light. It felt just the same; he must have had them squeezed that tight from the beginning.

Giving his eyes time to get used to the lighting, Luchell decided to focus on the shouting instead. He could hear it more clearly now that the noise rattling his head was subsiding. Someone was shouting about something working, and he could soon hear clearly a couple of other voices nearby—shouts and cries, some more subdued than others. As he listened, he flexed his free hand and arm a little. Something felt off. His hand, his arm, elbow... He investigated with his other, scratching his head a little to feel what felt like short, velvety fur.

Luchell finally opened his eyes to get a look at what was going on. When he looked at his hands, he saw claws, and attached to those claws were wings. He stammered a little, confused, as he examined his wings, his body, then reached up and felt himself grasping at a huge pair of ears. Looking around, Luchell realized that he was surrounded by Pokémon. "I... Am I a Pokémon?! What happened??"

Now that was an odd question. He wasn't supposed to be a Pokémon, was he? No, he had clear...feelings of being human.

That didn't make any sense; why couldn't he remember?

The little Noibat looked toward the Pokémon whom had been shouting about something working. An Abra? No...Alakazam—Luchell was sure he knew that much. It sounded like Alakazam would be the one to know what had happened, if anyone; but, confused, Luchell felt a bit withdrawn. Instead of asking, he decided, for now, to listen to the others, wondering if they were all in the very same, bizarre situation.

There was the twitch of a long muzzle, the tiny nostrils flaring to sense the aromas of the new area it inhabited. The circular hear the muzzle rested upon shifted, the individual owning it attempting to jar awake. Its rotund body beneath it shivered and rippled, the unfamiliar muscles attempting to function in light of this new waking. The large pair of black semicircles on the head indicated eyelids that could move no further than a slit to give the vision beneath some sight. Stubby limbs twisted and shuffled around, trying and failing to hoist the weight of the foreign body, or just exhibit any force whatsoever. The creature as a whole seemed weak and squishy, a perfect prey if it were not for the heated vents dotting its back in formation; yet even these failed to spark, any effort whatsoever a barely huffing one.

His body ached all around, the struggles from his weak flailing suggesting as much and perhaps some more. He wanted to get up, run and hide, or at least be able to just curl up in a tiny where he could free himself from feeling the judgements of others. Now that he considered it, that last part wasn't even unusual considering his current state. He knew something was wrong with him, the burning feeling within feeling strange but harmless combined with the puny form he was in. The miniature curves that concealed his eyes could barely part, and his face felt very extended upon him. From the strangely large portion of the world he could glimpse, he had the obvious feeling he wasn't where he was supposed to be, and the body he currently owned was not his.

And that was it. No memories of home, his life, or himself, for that matter, remained to spark his mind. Not that it would've mattered, he somehow felt. He was a tiny, helpless creature to easily poke at. Not like the other things he could observe; the towering, deep brown trunks of trees, the vibrant carpet of grass that surrounded him, the mysterious wind that whistled and drifted about him... Well, maybe it wasn't so bad here. At least the world he had dropped into was lush and serene, he thought, so it wasn't some hell. That was good, maybe. The tiny limbs struggled again, with some vague form of purpose, and he managed to scramble the body into a position on the back. The grass beneath either molded into a cushion beneath him, or poked into the foreign holes on the rear pelt in a way that barely tickled him. Some peace and quiet, alone, would be a nice remedy for him. He would like that...

The sudden whooping and hollering destroyed all of that, though. By some instinct that wasn't his, though still felt perfectly suited for him and his body right now, the diminutive creature whipped all of the protrusions in his body into the center of his form. Curled into an indigo-and-cream ball of thickish fur, the individual was content to stay as spherical as he could until it all just went away and ignored him. He had yet to piece together that he was a Cyndaquil yet, or that there were others in the same situation as him. He couldn't have cared less right now. He was a total coward, a piece of absolutely no self-worth, and he knew and embraced it even here and now. The body of the Pokemon he was currently in really suited him well.

Freya huffed a bit as she hid behind the rock she was rather scared when the others started to awaken because surely at least half of them looked really scary. She shivered and trembled as she pushed her back towards the rock and shut her eyes for a moment, then suddenly something tickled her nose and she had to bite her lip as to not giggle. She looked up and found her own fluffy tail that had curled between her legs now tickling her face, she shivered slightly and suddenly nipped her tail and had to bite her lip again as to not yelp as it hurt her. She snickered slightly and hook her head as she licked it before she put it back and tugged it back behind her to become like a big fluffy cushion for her back as she leaned towards the rock. She could live with this, it was nice and she started to brush her head towards her own fur and just enjoy how it felt. Sniffing slightly she totally forgot that she was scared and started to sniff herself out, surely her paws smelled funny, yet she accepted their scent as her own mixed with grass. She sniffed uner her legs and found it smelled a bit different and then she sniffed out her own chest and found that it were different too and she deeply enjoyed each scent even if they were the same but only slightly different.

She pawed her chest and giggled softly to herself as she curled up in a ball and continued to sniff lower while grooming her fur, soon she reached her waist where she would sniff and find a sweet fragrance that tickled her nose. She gasped slightly and realized that she was just about sniffing out her own privates causing her to blush deeply but the scent was somewhat enchanting as she had never done that before. She trembled slightly and reached out her tongue then halted herself as he wondered what the heck she were about to do...she couldn't lick herself there....at least....at...least...she was unsure if she could...or should...she was still in public and it was very embarassing indeed. Swallowed and got back to her paws and pretended like nothing had happened as she didn't even look to herself for quite some time. It was about then she recalled the others and perhaps they knew how she got here, or had a better clue as what were going on. Sneaking a peak from behind the rock out of the others she trembled slightly as she didn't dare to go out and say something in case they were dangerous, instead she decided it was best to get one of them to come to her...which immidently led her to spotting out the one she thought she could maybe talk to and found the Shinx to be the nicest looking one and the closest.

She reached out her head and quickly snagged the Shinx by its tail and quickly pulled it in behind the rock before turning it around and placing her paw over its mouth and hushign it "Shhh...I'm a friend" she would say while raising her other paw like a finger in front of her own mouth. She would then look around slightly to see if anyone had noticed or not before she let go of the Shinx mouth with a sigh as she fell down on her bum. "S...S-orry...b...bout....t..t.at" she stuttered and could hardly speak straight, she swallowed hard and hear ears dropped as she looked at the Shinx. "I'm...I'm...Freya the Eevee....I...i'm...sorry...for sna...snagging you...but...do..do you knwo..where we are?...who you are?...." she asked while blushign and was very shy about it while feeling sorry she bothered the poor shinx with her own problems.

A sharp pain was felt at the moment of a flash, and Blaise began to slowly regain her consciousness. As her eyes fluttered open, everything felt unreal. She was confused and shut her eyes again tightly, trying to remember anything. The way her body felt was strange and unfamiliar. Blaise began to squirm around for a couple of seconds and pushed herself up on two feet unintentionally by habit, just to lose balance and fall once again on her back.

What... What's going on...? Is this a dream? She thought to herself, struggling to learn how to control her sudden change of movements. Once she was back up, she realized that her body required her to stand on four feet.

Wait a second... These aren't... Blaise trailed off as she glanced down and noticed reddish-brown, stubby paws. "What is this?!" She questioned aloud. Blaise frantically began scanning the scene around her and noticed Pokemon everywhere. An Alakazam was visible from the corner of her eye and it was spouting some sort of nonsense. That was when Blaise walked closer and noticed the Alakazam was speaking. She suddenly fell back from shock and shook her head.

I can't remember very much as of now, but I'm pretty sure Pokemon aren't supposed to know how to talk..! That was when something suddenly hit her mind. Could it possibly be? The different body shape, colored paws, and sudden enlargement of the area around her is just an explanation that Blaise was a Pokemon. However she can't tell whether she was always a Pokemon or not due to her memories being hazy. Blaise turned and noticed a small pond near by. She quickly, and wobbly, made her way closer to the water and looked down at her reflection.

"I'm a... Vulpix...? Have I always been a Pokemon...?" Blaise began to feel a recurring dizziness and pulled herself away from the reflection. She decided she should try and interrogate the Alakazam or at least another Pokemon of her current situation and whereabouts.

I gasped at the sudden touch by something else. While my mind was concentrated on getting used to basic movement with the new body, I was jerked by my tail by something else. It was rather hard and surprisingly bold but I didn't quite feel the action until I was behind cover and being muffled by another Pokemon. I remembered that other Pokemon were around but I wasn't quite ready to introduce myself to any right now. Still, it was better to have allies straight away in case things got difficult.

"Hey, Wh-" My speech was cut off by the other Pokemon's paw, a rather brilliant shade of green as well. I would have to find things about all of these others, if it got that far, to differentiate them. I listened while the other Pokemon, now identified as an Eevee and with the voice of a female, asked questions that I never even thought of asking myself yet. I was surprised that no one started making an uproar, except for a few. Most seemed surprisingly calm about the situation, unless not all of them were in the same situation. I made it look like I was fine on the outside but in my head I was frantic, trying to put things together to make the situation make even a shred of sense but that was not going well at all. It would take a lot for me to understand what in the world happened. Whether it was me getting some sort of memory back or just having to adapt, some even would have to trigger a positive event. This Eevee, Freya, must be in the same predicament by just assuming because of her speech and how detached she seemed to everyone. If I wasn't close to where she was, she would probably still be waiting for the first Pokemon to make a move.

"I don't know and I am Lixy." I wasn't ready to spout out a life story, not that I had anything to say other than waking up in a field just moments earlier with no memory except a name and basic functions. It just hit me, now that I thought about it. I was just talking to another Pokemon, fluent as if it were my first language, despite me not knowing what was happening or even knowing why I woke up as a Pokemon out of thin air. Then again, it was probably just another basic function that came naturally. I got up onto my feet again and stared down the Eevee, subtly trying to keep the Pokemon from trying anything. I wasn't the most intimidating thing, especially towards the opposite gender, but I could try. Freya seemed already nervous enough and it wouldn't take much to push her over the edge, especially since some of the others would start communicating as well.

"What's your story? Know anything about what is going on?" It was a long shot, very long shot, but maybe another Pokemon had a clue about what was going on. Judging from who was up and walking compared to who was still getting their bearings, that crazy Alakazam was the best source of information. I wouldn't dare go near him alone, though. He was screaming still and I wasn't quite ready to get hurt after just getting up.

Fuzz and static, a low hum that held the consciousness for what felt like eternity, here everything was dark and time had no meaning. Numbness cushioned the shock, the sounds, the fear; but soon the low hum amplified itself. At first an endless drone, only to separate into segments of low slurs, and then gradually clarifying into what turned out to be speech. Awareness planted its seed between her eyes and slowly began making its way down, bringing feeling along with it, and suddenly she felt everything. Her whole body ached, as if she'd been tossed about and discarded; her whole left side pleaded in agony. The pain in her shoulders sang, singed even, for they felt as if someone had attempted to pull them out of their sockets. She did not dare open her eyes; so devastated was she from the numbness leaving her in such a state, and instead concentrated on the areas of pain on her body which seemed to multiply by the minute. Of all the places, those which hurt the most were her forehead, back, wrists, and ankles. It felt as if something were gnawing- no- smoldering her flesh; the sensation of being printed on or branded overtook her and this caused a ferocious panic to well up in her chest.

With a frantic jolt she sprang to her feet, eyes opening to take in the expansive world about her, and she was soon caught off guard by what she saw. Momentarily forgetting her pain she took in the odd sight before her, only a few paces away stood a Pokemon which she had trouble recognizing, for its back was to her, but this was not why she was so perplexed, no, it was speaking. Confusion however subsided and she turned her attention back unto herself, lifting up her hands she checked her wrists- which were not her own. Staring dumbly down at her ha- no these were not hands, they were paws, paws which belonged to a Pokemon. Still sluggish her mind refused to accept what she would soon conclude herself to be. For now she dropped her... Paws, heavily onto the grass below her. It was then that she realized that she was quadruped, something which did not feel right, yet not based off of memory- for she felt no familiarity with this body, which lead her to believe that she did not belong in it. Human bounced around in her heavy head and she pondered the thought for a second. Yes, this made much more sense, her having been a human.

Her thoughts were slowly clearing now, as the pain which had first awoken her was quickly receding, her aches were now cooling and she clearly felt the heat leaving her back and shoulders. Alright, she thought, so i am a Pokemon and i am becoming accustomed to this body. She cast another narrowed glance at the hollering Pokemon near her, whoever that is seems much more accustomed than i, she thought and through red eyes she took in her surroundings once more, but much calmer now. Noticing many other Pokemon in the clearing, all much smaller than the first and as equally as dazed and confused as she, she deduced that they all needed help like herself. The pain they must feel, she thought, but did not know what she could do to help the others. She looked down at her paws and tried to think hard to remember what kind of body she was in. She went over the facts in her head again, feeling for what seemed right and what felt correct. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a blur of red, instinctually she tensed and flared her nostrils, catching the scent of the Pokemon before looking at them- identifying them as a Vulpix before confirming this fact. The Vulpix had made their way to a small body of water and was, what seemed to her, readying themselves to drink- but never bringing themselves to.

That Vulpix is trying to find out what they are, she thought, and would have done so as well if she was not so afraid. Suddenly furious with herself she gritted her teeth, why was she so afraid? She was a Pokemon and if she wanted answers she needed to go find them. Thats exactly why, she found herself thinking, what if she found out what Pokemon she was and that was the only answer she'd get? What if she found out and she would live the rest of her life like this... With only the feint hint of a memory of having been human, of having had another life. Conflicting feelings raged in her and she felt a wild heat in her throat begin to build as she fumed over her own frustrations. She quickly faced the ranting Pokemon which her nose identified as an Alakazam, they obviously knew something and she would get something out of them. Of course the only thing stopping her now was the common sense that she was in an environment, a body, a world which she was unfamiliar with and she had to tread lightly. She would need someone to back her up if she wanted to get answers from the Alakazam. She scanned the clearing once again; two sobbing Pokemon immediately caused her nose to crinkle, a third that was curled up upon itself seemed beyond helping, a pair which had hidden themselves- she gave up her search then and there- everyone was still much too disoriented. Except, and her gaze travelled toward the Vulpix once again. She felt a natural inclination to approach the Pokemon and felt comfortable doing so.

Making her way on paws which she felt were much to big for her, she padded over to the Vulpix with an uneven gate much like that of a puppies. As she neared, she was consciously evaluating this new body, getting a feel for how her new muscles felt and how walking on all fours felt; which ultimately after a few moments was becoming less and less of a challenge. Remembering herself and the state of the others, however, she halted a few paces away from the other Pokemon. Yet then, out of the corner of her eye, she spotted what felt like someone approaching her and with a quick defensive jerk looked- only to see her own reflection in the pond water. The short ears upon her head pointed up in attention as her muzzle parted in momentary shock; she was a Houndour, the devilish looking fire pokemon. She looked over at the Vulpix and spoke the word which first sprang to her head upon looking at her relfection,
"I'm... I'm Zaraph?" She said, not truly convinced herself.

As Blaise turned away from the small pond, she noticed someone appear from the corner of her eye and unintentionally went into a defensive position. A Houndour approached her, but stopped halfway when it was suddenly surprised by its own reflection. Blaise slowly returned to her normal stance and watched the Houndour curiously as it seemed just as confused as herself. Suddenly the Houndour began to speak.

"I'm... I'm Zaraph?" She stated her name, however it seemed as if she was questioning her own accuracy. Blaise was slightly surprised at Zaraph. She seems harmless enough... Blaise thought to herself and smiled slightly at the fact that she wasn't an intimidating Houndour who was going to attack her.

"I'm Vulpi-... Er... Blai-... Wait, no... Yes? I think I'm Blaise..." Blaise began to jumble up her own words after pulling out what seemed to be her name from a faint memory. She noticed Zaraph was standing a few feet away from her and stepped closer. Blaise glanced around at the other Pokemon and concluded that they had all just experienced the same thing, or at least something similar. After turning back towards Zaraph, she knew asking of their current situation would be pointless. But it wouldn't hurt to try I guess.

"Um, do you happen to know what exactly happened earlier and what our current situation is?" Blaise was meaning to ask about the Alakazam as well however she decided to hold it off for now.

Monaghan raised a clawed hand to his grinning mouth. It was the only thing he could keep himself from laughing at the scene that was unfolding in front of him. Several grown Pokemon acting like complete idiots, flailing around and screaming while an Alakazam ranted and raved in the background. Was he making them do this? He had heard of psychic Pokemon sometimes controlling others for fun, but he had never imagined it being so... amusing! Some of the muddled Pokemon had already started coming to their senses, a slightly disappointing development, but the psychic in the back was still making confusing movements, as if he was dancing out of joy.
This was quite the opposite of what he was expecting after the blinding flashes and horrible gusts that had filled the Sundown Forest shortly before. Most Pokemon would be scared away from such a scene, and for good reason, but Monaghan was feeling lucky. Only a battle between two strong Pokemon could cause such dramatic events, and the sudden cease in activity could only mean that at least one died. Certain body parts of strong Pokemon could yield a tidy profit at the black market, mainly tough outer shells and sharp claws. It was a dubious practice, but it was an opportunity Monaghan was not willing to pass up, especially with the potential gains that could be had. So, trusting his quite possibly faulty logic, he cautiously began making his way to the source of the lights.

The Sableye lowered his hand from his mouth as the situation calmed down. He was still thoroughly entertained by the whole affair, it was like watching some sort of theatre performance. Even from up here, he could catch small parts of conversation. Some were talking among themselves, others had gone seemingly catatonic, and some walked out of his line of vision and entered it again. Nobody seemed to be addressing the shiny Donphan in the room. Namely, the Alakazam. It can't possibly be that difficult to miss, surely?

Checking his hiding spot once again, Monaghan was confident that even if the little group on the ground regained their senses before he could sneak out before he was noticed. He was sitting on the high branch of a large tree, safe from casual observation from ground level. He'd made sure to face away from the sun and keep his head down, to keep his eyes from catching the low light and revealing his position. The gems on his back still cast a slight sparkle, but they were safely hidden from view of anyone in front of him. Unfortunately, he wasn't in a position to run if he was found. The branch was too high to simply drop from and there was a lack of trees to jump to. Monaghan checked his bag for food and resolved to stay for just a little bit longer. What's the worst that could happen?

Kulero the Alakazam stared forward for a couple of seconds.

It was said that Alakazam were among the most intelligent beings on the planet. Any single one knew almost everything there was to know, from history to math to science to art and culture, and likewise, had the capacity to recall any single experience he or she had ever had, anything from early childhood memories to the exact words in a book that it read at any point in his or her life. One might ask themselves what he could possibly be thinking about. Was he considering the ramifications of his actions? Was he wondering what will happen in the near-future? What about the far-future? Was he even thinking about any of that? Maybe he was busy thinking about what the Hanging Grimstones did, where these strange Pokémon came from and why the Original One chose to bring them here. Was he perplexed? If not, why? Was he satisfied with this outcome, and again, if not, why…?

“This is…” He spoke softly, but somehow, his words rang through the heads of each and every one present. “…an unforeseen consequence. I spent many nights researching what the Hanging Grimstones are, who built them, why they built them, and how I could harness their power to save this world. When I go no solid answers, I plotted many different scenarios and considered which of them was the most likely. Could the Hanging Grimstones be a portal to another world or maybe a weapon constructed by a civilization who hoped to end this era of darkness? If it was neither of those could it be some kind of signal? If so, to what or to whom?”

He paused.

“It crossed my mind that the Hanging Grimstones might summon our champion or champions to this world, but I figured that outcome was unlikely. After all, why would a lost civilization construct a machine to summon other Pokémon from across time and space rather than simply create a weapon or another device capable of harnessing the power necessary to end this blight upon our world? Perhaps they truly didn’t want to end it, but then, that brings me back to the question of what exactly this place is and why it was built…”

“But please excuse my rudeness,” he apologized, “You might be confused as to who I am and why you are here, so please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kulero. Some people know me as the Greet Seer. I have summoned you here by channeling the Original One’s power through the Hanging Grimstones, the monoliths floating above your heads. Admittedly, I took a great risk by doing this. I did not really know and still do not know what the Hanging Grimstones are or what they even do, but considering the circumstances…”

Suddenly, Kulero shifted his gaze to the Pokémon he was addressing. For the next several moments, he examined each and every Pokémon in his presence, most likely taking in every action and reaction that they made. Going from each one individually, starting with an Eevee and working his way over to a Cubone, then a Cyndaquil, then a Chimcar, and so forth. He speaks as he gets halfway through, “I know you might be scared and that you will have a lot of questions for me, but please, let’s start with the basics. Some of you have already begun introducing yourselves, but if you will, please gather around and introduce yourselves.”

“Again,” he shook his head, “This is a rather different outcome than what I expected, and I… apologize.”

You get the suspicion that he does not know that you are human or that you have no recollection of who you are or where you came from. According to him, you appear to be random Pokémon that have been teleported to this location.

“My invitation extends to the youngster hiding in the trees, as well.” Kulero made it a point to stare in the direction of a Pokémon hiding in the trees some ways away from the rest of the group.

Fraya listened in to what the Shinx had to say about the situation, and it weren't nearly as giving as she had hoped for as the Shinx didn't seem to know anything at all. That probably meant that either she didn't know anything, or she knew but didn't want to tell her anything and with Freya not being very persuasive it would be hard for her to gain any intel on the situation especially when the other pokémon started to stare her down which was intimidating. She lowered down and her ears fell back as she let go of the Shinx and backed off, she didn't dare to hold onto anything that looked so scary seeing as she reckoned her chance of beating it was really small even if they were roughly the same size. Besides she knew well enough that a Shinx were an electric type, and somewhat she didn't like the thought of getting fried to a crisp this early after waking up. She shivered as the Shinx counter questioned her and she actually had no clue about what to reply to the Shinx either, maybe after all the Shinx was as clueless as herself. "I...I...I...I..." she stuttered and shivered slightly as she gulped, she didn't want to disappoint Lixy and earn a shocking reply...

She cleared her throat a bit and shook her head "I'm...so..sorry...I...have...no clue...I...kind...of....just...awoke...painfully...from...a...c-concussion....I...t-think...." she replied and rubbed her head that was still a bit numb from what was going on. She felt like she had been hit by a raging hoard of Tauros and forgot to take their registration number, thought this small conversation kept her distracted from hearing in on the other ones that went about around them. She were still afraid of the Shinx that she a moment ago had kind of kidnapped from the circle of pokémon that were spread around about evenly over this very odd place and she herself with a quick assess of the situation could tell that the only being that seemed to have a clue around here were that very..very...extremely large and dangerous looking Alakazam, in another manner of thought, it could very well be that the Alakazam had pilfered all their memories with its great psychic powers and now wanted to make them its slaves. The thought made Freya shiver more as she wondered what side the Shinx was on, perhaps the Shinx worked for the Alakazam...or perhaps it was still rebellious...why had the Alakazam done this anyway?....

Suddenly freezing with her mouth wide open as she heard a voice in her head, she almost felt how her heart stopped and she was totally paralyzed as she took in each and every word like if they were a code and she were a machine needing to obey every last one of them, and they all seemed to come from the Alakazam who had to be by the sound of it like the second supreme overlord of the Universe or something meaning that he was easily enough powerful to turn them all into pelts after gutting and removing their innards without raising a finger to do so, she gulped and when the Alakazamn's gaze fell upon her, her eyes shrunk so much she thought they would leap out of her rear and run away as she sank through the very earth she stood on at the size of a meaningless speck of dust in comparison. Yet the Alakazam spoke of forgiveness, like if he were at fault for something and personally Freya could only think that such a being must be worshiped as a god and that they should be there licking his feet rather than listening to him trying to apologize. Heeding his words, it finally came to the 'command' that they should go out and introduce themselves.

Freya felt to that command, like if the world stopped to circle around them...instead the whole world circled around this Alakazam...no of course the big omnipotent Kulero. And even thought she was probably the one that was most afraid out of all of them, after the gaze she got from him her paws ran out from the hiding place and planted themselves right in front of Kulero where her front would drop and her rear would be standing straight up as a great bow to him. She gasped slightly as she couldn't believe her own feet who seemingly hadn't obeyed her will before now nearly had acted on their own accord and there she stood in front of him with her mouth still open as she had forgotten to shut it. "...oh great and benevolent Kulero...I'm Freya...the unworthy of standing in your presence...please if you must...think of me as the dust that float around you...use me as a scarf if you feel cold...do as you will with me..as my service is yours if you will have it" she spoke and she couldn't even understand how she got the courage to speak to him, but she couldn't hesitate a moment to dedicate herself to a god...especially not when it could mean the difference between life and not life and she didn't feel like dying this day, it didn't matter for her if she would have to lower herself to any treatment...for life she would obey the ruler who she would give herself too any time of day. And with that said she felt silent while bowing to him once more as she felt unworthy of speaking more than she were allowed too.

It seemed like my choice of Pokemon to question was not as great as I had hoped. Freya seemed like she would have trouble standing on her own two feet if anyone even tried to take a swing at her. Granted, anyone would feel threatened but this one took it to an extreme I was not expecting. I felt a tad sorry for the girl, though. It probably wasn't the best move on my part to try and force information from her, especially since it should have seemed obvious from the beginning that she was in no better of a position than anyone else that happened to be on the field, other than the Alakazam.

When Freya answered my question, my assumption was confirmed. I had no idea what was going on and neither did this girl. One could go around asking the other Pokemon to see if they had any information but being sociable wasn't a strong point of mine. I was more keen to the idea of eavesdropping and finding out information that way. It would mean less confrontations and I wouldn't have to worry about remembering any details like names or anything of the sort.

"That sounds li-" I was cut off from my retort by a voice that seemed to come out of nowhere. It didn't sound like Freya and I checked from behind the rock and no other Pokemon was close enough to talk as clearly as the voice was. I felt sparks jumping from my tail and fur, nowhere near enough for an attack but more of a defensive intimidating procedure I assumed. I still didn't know much of anything about what i was or what I could do, but I started to go with whatever happened. It would be easier than trying to figure things out at the moment.

I would assume the voice was coming from the Alakazam, who labeled himself himself as Kulero, because he was the most powerful of anyone here by far. Kulero explained everything about how himself as well as the other Pokemon got to the field and a little about the location they were in. It answered a couple of questions but those weren't quite as important. I was more concerned with who I was, how I got here, and why I don't remember anything except for waking up in the field. The Alakazam then requested, surprisingly not demanded, for all the Pokemon to introduce themselves. It was odd that Kulero spoke not with authority and demands but with apologies and requests. It may have been some kind of setup and wanted us to let our guard down but I wasn't about to.

I didn't bolt out of the rock and give myself to the Pokemon like Freya did, who I didn't notice until I looked down and saw her butt raised. She is easy to manipulate because of her fears. None of the others seemed that way right now. I didn't exactly run up and act like the Alakazam was a god but I did slowly walk out from the cover of the rock and start to circle the Pokemon. I wasn't going to start a fight but I wasn't going to worship him, either. It didn't feel right when it crossed my mind.

From the near-helpless curling position the Cyndaquil laid in, he only bunched up tighter when the mind-echoing, overwatching voice of the Alakazam pierced his senses. He couldn't see it, but he could eventually, definitely feel the Psychic individual's presence gazing at him, and at that point he was sure he couldn't compress himself any tighter. But what the Alakazam actually said with those power resulted in a very different emotional reaction. The description of the Hanging Grimstones, artifacts of powerful forces from beyond mortal sight, and what, if anything, they could possibly do. The idea that they would be able to perhaps summon a champion or champions seemed to linger awhile on the psychic's presumptions, his questions only expanded and furthered by the happenstance of events here. And, in the Cyndaquil's idle mind, it prompted his own questions.

Was I summoned here? Is that why my form, my memories, are all so different? Very possible, and most likely.
Did this 'Great Seer' summon me intentionally? Or not? The Alakazam eventually answered that question by addressing the others in the clearing, and expressing his apologies. Seems like the Psychic had no idea what would happen if he used the Grimstones, which seemed rather ironic. Especially so considering what he summoned; a cowardly kid [was he a kid? Might as well be], and some other Pokemon that were probably far more competent that him.
Why am I here at all? What makes me a champion here? What am I supposed to do? Was something wrong here, that prompted this summoning in the first place? How do I go about fixing that if that is all true? Those questions stuck without answers, and left the Cyndaquil hopeless again.
Why me? What makes you think I'm at all worth of being a champion?

Peeking out from the cozy hiding spot of his curl, he looked up as if expecting to find some answer. He instead discovered a huge, jagged shard of rock floating precariously in the air above him. The Cyndaquil, ordinarily, might have been frightened, but something rang in his head that this was at least one of the Flying Grimstones the Alakazam mentioned. It held some sort of magical transmittance that radiated throughout the area, and the look of this monolith, combined with the chill commentary of the so-called Great Seer, bestowed a sense of wonder and amazement upon the tiny creature. He simply couldn't help but be overwhelmed by incredible curiosity about these relics. So, these are what brought him here, gave his this new body...

Now that he actually bothered to look, the sight of a cream-colored underbelly contrasting with the dark blue that coated most of his back, head and stubby limbs appeared. He was a Pokemon. He probably should've realized that now, and probably should be scared and surprised. But most of that was already wasted upon his first appearance here anyways; really, he had no excuse to be surprised or frightened now that he knew that (a.) everyone else was a Pokemon, (b.) said others sounded like there were in the same boat as he was, and (c.) the Alakazam had already explained and apologized for it. Still, he was here against his will and judgement, and was expected to get along with everyone else here. In a world of Pokemon, known to be potentially very dangerous and powerful? Not very likely, even with these other people.

But what else could he do? It's not like he could just opt out and leave; the Alakazam might stop him even if he could. Besides, some of these other, uh, 'people', had to be understanding and friendly... right? Friends... might be okay, he supposed. He didn't really know for sure what real friendship was supposed to feel like, anyway. Maybe now was the time to figure it out, because he certainly didn't want to become lunch, no, a light snack for something else.

So... friendship. Started with- introductions, perhaps? The Alakazam did compel everyone to introduce themselves and get along, so that sounded like a good start. How to introduce yourself? It was... uh, a name? Couldn't be just that, it had to be more than a name... well, let's just start with a name. ...What is my name? Name, name, name... he had to remember something from his history... Enthen? That... was a name? Was it his name? It was something he remembered, so it had to have some significance...

Of all the nerve that got the Cyndaquil back on his tiny stubbles for limbs and trotted him cautiously to the center of the clearing's Flying Grimstones, he had no courage left to actually say anything. He just stood there, his body quaking and eyelids quivering, far more nervous than a shy boy in a new school. He didn't know what he would sound like, what others would think, or furthermore, if he was even supposed to be here.

Something inside of him snapped after hearing the Alakazam's story "wait a second...you're the reason I'm like this!? The reason I lost my memories and turned into a fucking sword!?!?!?!" he screeched, practically livid. He was now seeing the same shade of red that colored his blade. "GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" he shook with fury. During his rage, his sash arm propping him up lost its grip on the ground, and he stumbled back down to the ground. Now laying back on the ground, his sash arm flopped around as he began to cry again "this really sucks. I want my legs back...I miss walking. Walking was so nice; I could go places. Not like now where I can't even move under my own power"

It was then that he had an idea. If he had a movable mouth, it would have slowly curled up into a smile "...yes...oh yes." Using his sash arm, he began to drag himself across the floor to the Alakazam, laughing maniacally as he did "I got you now you little fucker! Your kidneys are mine!!!!" However any menace his words might have had were offset by the laughable sight of a Honedge dragging himself across the floor "and not just your kidneys, but your soul too! I'm a weird ghost sword thingy now, so I think I can suck out people's souls. Not sure how yet, but hey, we can figure it out together. It'll be a learning experience" Despite his zeal, he was making painfully slow progress. However that failed to deture him

After having fallen, Zee just kind of laid there on the grass in silence for a short while. Not totally defeated, but not winning either. Her world was still sort of spinning on its axis and everything was still rather blurry. Though the blurriness could have been from her tears a few moments ago, she honestly was not sure. Though she had herd the Alakazam's words, her attention was quickly drawn elsewhere... to someone much louder and throwing around threats. With a groan, she forces herself back to her feet, lightly dusting herself off before picking back up her boneclub and carefully hobbling over towards the Honedge attempting to drag himself across the ground.

She might have thought it was a bit funny to see such a sight, but in fact, she felt a bit bad for them. Being unable to move well aside from that sash-like arm... She glanced towards her boneclub for a moment, sucking in a sharp breath before finally speaking as she grew closer... eventually coming to just slowly move a short distance beside it. "Excuse me. Can you not be so loud? Do you need help? Not very threatening while trying to drag yourself like that, you know."

She should have been angry and freaking out. Possibly screaming and crying more. But now that she had already cried a tiny bit... it seemed pointless to worry. No, she couldn't remember anything past her own name, but in an odd sense, this just felt right. It crossed her mind that she might have been sounding slightly rude, but with how he was talking, she honestly did not think it would be that big of a problem. "I could help, you know... maybe carry you over there or something."
