I'm new in this industry and got curious. I got a game in my mind and I WANT TO KNOW if it's possible. The RP shall be called ALCHEMIA: a Contest of Inventions. the plot is something like this: the players will be "alchemists". They were summoned to join a fair to show their talents to the world and prove who's the best among them. The rules will be: the alchemists will create their best invention using 5 ingredients from a given specific 12 elements each with their own unique attribute. In the first week shall be: telling the a brief statement of procedure then the qualities of their own invention, its advantages, and why was it the best possible product using among the given elements. The inventions must only stick to the attributes of their ingredient and should not go further from it. A moderator (probably the GM) will stand as the audience/judge which will throw questions/criticize their works. then next week(s) will be the chance of defending their invention from the questions asked. further questions may be asked by the moderator/the other contenders may ask them about their inventions as well. I'm planning to end it using a poll but I think that's not possible in this forum, I haven't thought of a way of how to end it either. It still sounds like an RP right?

Sounds like the start of a decent RP idea sure. It'd be possible, but I'd think you'd need more details and a system for it to work for it to get off the ground as it seems it may be a tad complex. It would need structure, I think is what I'm saying. It's not the kind of thing I'd go for, but I'm sure others would indeed. If you really want to do it then go for it, brainstorm all the ideas you'd need and float an interest check. Like what is the purpose of the inventions, what are the elements and what kind of ingredients are available to be used? What are the limitations? That kind of thing. Maybe a rough plot that adds some structure or a world that this is set within.
