Hey, there! I'm glad that you took the time to open my little request thread. Anyway, on to the big fish to fry:
-I'm pretty open to almost anything you can throw at me. However, I do set a limit on the dark side like incest, drugs, and the like. -I don't necessarily look for romance in RPs, but it does drive the plot forward if ever we get to that point. -I'm an average poster, and as such, as a student, I get busy due to research papers (huzzah, educational and language courses). Thus, I maybe unable to post from time to time, but rest assured, I'll always inform you of such circumstances. -I'm a casual RPer, and thus, I do not expect novel-esque or perfect posts. However, I still want to understand what you're saying, so, acceptable grammar and spelling are much appreciated. I will also try to match your post lengths, though. Still, I typically post around 3-5 paragraphs depending on my mood. I'll only accept 1 player per RP.
I think that's pretty much it. Now, on to my ideas!
--Soft Male Roles--
1. Event Horizon
The untamed seas serve little purpose for those who deem their lives to be much heavier than others. However, for the bandits of the high seas and the salty sea dogs, the oceans are their playing fields. With their numbers dwindling faster than an anvil sinking to the ocean bed, the last pirate lords scramble for power, knowing that the reason why their faction had plummeted in strength: they had no sole figure of leadership. The pirates struck at each other, each swearing allegiance to their respective captains and disregarding others. In addition, pirate lords often bickered with fellow lords, disabling them from ever being united. They had been reduced to, now, the last seven lords, each fighting for survival.
Captain Hale (My Character), known as the Slug and the seventh pirate lord, set out towards the Bermuda Triangle in order to attend the final Council of the Seas. It should be known that the only reason that Hale is even a Pirate Lord is because he's the only known captain left. Which goes to show how much of his skill is actually even recognized. As the Event Horizon, Hale's ship, sails onward, they soon come across a drifter (your character). With nothing much to lose, Hale opted to rescue the drifter-- a soldier, their supposed enemy. They should kill this person and every crew member aboard was willing to do it, however, Hale smiled and raised his hand.
"Let the drifter live."
2. 20 Checks until the Dawn Comes (Taken)
On a snowy winter evening, your character sits beside the comforting, warm light of the lamp post. The park was deserted, almost like a ghost town. The only thing keeping the dark strands of night at bay was the light that the lamp illuminated with constant grace and determination. Your character begins to feel the chilling bite of winter, and when you had already decided to just stand up, leave, and find somewhere else to stroll... a boy in tattered clothing approached you. He holds a weathered, battered, and torn notebook in his hand-- a broken pencil in the other. His pale face etched a pure, serene smile-- a few broken teeth, here and there. His quivering yet jolly voice filled your ears, and he utters but a few sentences.
"Would you like to complete a 20 item checklist with me? At least... until the dawn comes." the boy grinned, holding up his notebook with 20 check-boxes. "I believe you're the one."

4. Your will, My hands
Siluma, Liudesys, and Gein-- the three sons of Vak Fanir were born to a prestigious household. They were one of the richest families in the kingdom of Cestaloria as they controlled the military affairs in the entire kingdom. Their sons also contributed to their success: Siluma was the general of the 1st Division-- the strongest division in the kingdom, and Liudesys was the Prime Minister for Military Affairs. Indeed, the family was considered to be invulnerable, and that, neither Heaven could tear them asunder.
However, they have a shame that they kept in the shadows-- a skeleton in the closet. It was their youngest son, Gein. Gein was a sickly individual, but unlike other sickly individuals, he wasn't the smartest nor the wisest. He was just... plain, average. There was nothing special about him except the chronic cough that plagued his health. Gein was no more than burden, and the only reason as to why he was still alive was because it was illegal to kill him, and the family was afraid that if they killed Gein, Heaven's wrath would rive them.
However, they needed to show their followers that Gein was still being cared for, and one of those was to provide for him a bodyguard. It was the cheapest one they could find for him.
This is where you come in: You were a bodyguard for a hire, and the family of the Fanirs hired you to protect their youngest, Gein. However, your job might not be as easy as it seems... For even the shadows lie in wait-- planning for the perfect opportunity to pounce on the Vanirs... or rather, on a specific Vanir.
--Strong Male Roles/Dominant Male Roles--
1. A Heart of Ice Cannot Bleed
-Childhood is most easily broken with a single event. Rem was one such happy prince whose happy smile and gentle touches during the younger days vanished like how sand would dissipate against wind. As Rem ascended to the throne at a young age, the new king immediately took charge of the Desert Kingdom, Nazhat. The cruel and barren lands needed an iron leader and, as it seemed, Rem was the leader who lived up to its expectations. However, Rem grew cruel and insensitive to the most basic of emotions as he only sees the progress of Nazhat as his goal. With enemies encroaching upon the sand kingdom and even the disgruntled subjects, will Rem find renewal with his childhood friend who had turned Royal Guard, or will his throat be sliced and prove, once and for all, that even a heart of ice can bleed.
2. Cosmic Powers, Bound by Chains
-In a world where Ether freely flows in and out, there exists a plane where beings from the 'other side' spawn from the deepest part of the abyss. Among the most distinguished denizen of this plane was the Cosmomancer, Fehn. Fehn wasn't entirely human nor was he entirely ether but he was something in between. The cosmomancer handled such great magical prowess that he was filled to the brim with his own hubris and pride. In the end, he undertook a deadly gamble to stride over to the mortal realm and bring it down to its enemies.
With his oozing arrogance, Fehn immediately took up the offer and, after a series of spells, he passed the boundary of the Upper and Lower worlds. Fehn had envisioned an easy victory, one where the humans would claw at his feet. However, he would soon find out that this deal wasn't something that was going to be easy. Fehn's isolation from the Ether Plane severed much of his magical ability and, with nothing to anchor his essence to, his life force was slowly ebbing away. It seemed that his enemies wanted him dead and, oh, they were getting successful at it.
As his life waltzed to the edge of annihilation, a single, lowly human came to his aid. With but a few questions, the human anchored the cosmomancer's life force to her own and, thus, a godlike entity was shackled to the whims of a mere human. Fehn's acceptance to the pseudo-slavery was unkind. However, he couldn't kill his mistress... not yet, at least.
I shall be updating these if ever I get additional ideas. In the meantime, feel free to PM me for any of your ideas if you have one in mind! Other than that, I'm okay with either thread or PM, but I do prefer PM because it's easier to track that way.
I'm opening this interest check once more. To those who have expressed interest but I have failed to entertain in the past, I sincerely apologize. It just so happened that my research as well as student duties clashed with my schedule, thus, I had a limited time to take other RPs aside from the ones I've already been building with.
However, I promise that I have cleared my schedule and I am ready to build and create new stories with potential partners. Thank you so much and, once again, I apologize to those I have failed to reply to.
