Being the only child and sole heir of his lands. The marriage however wouldn't be until the war had subsided, but to make sure she wouldn't be alone as the war continued on, Joran's own daughter Kylis. Never meeting her betrothed as the man she was to marry and her father marched off to war, but a young woman came two weeks later. While this new black haired woman was quite beautiful, there was a certain air of intrigue about her. Good or bad she couldn't tell but if her betrothed's daughter was like this at least when she got married things would be well...interesting.

Years later the war had ended, it was on the tongues of everybody but it was bad news for her. Come to find out that her father had died in the last battles of the war. Lord Malver brought her father's corpse home, while he generous for bring home her father to rest, he not once pressed the concerns of marriage. She had be fortunate though that at least he looked descent despite the peppered hair and slight notion of his receding hair line. Telling the young woman when she was ready, letting her bury her father and have her time to grieve. Even with her fathers death though she saw that there was something forming, this man was a walking enigma and she couldn't focus on her dead father right before her. What was going on with her?

He gave her more than ample time to grieve for her father and allowing proper burial. Allowing herself to marry this Joran Malver since it was already arranged, still the silent walking oddity. Arranging a feast and other sorts of joyous activities to take place as the kingdom was still licking its wounds. Sitting at table of honor with her now husband as music played and people feasted. He looked to her with a slight smile, more like a smirk, almost wicked it seemed in nature. "How would you like to go to the capital?" He asked her though a sound was drawn to her eyes, looking town as his hand tapped hers. Chainmail?? What was happening?
