Their points and edges are just a lot more noticeable when I feel them with my tongue. I hope I haven't been grinding in my sleep or anything.

Go on. See how sharp your teeth feel today. It'll be fun.

Grinding your teeth generally makes them flatter, so I wouldn't worry about that. That's why those little frills on front teeth are actually a good thing - grinding or bad dental health tends to make them erode over time, which is why kids have them but adults tend not to.

One of my canines is gigantic compared to the rest of my teeth and really sharp, for some reason. And when I say gigantic, I mean it's like twice the size of the equivalent on the other side. It's weird.

If your teeth grow sharper, it is your body's way of telling you to eat more red meat. tru fax

If your teeth grow sharper, it's your body's way to telling you that it desires the blood of your brethren. You must feast on your elder brother ASAP.

That's pretty informative, actually. Thank you.

He said you have to do it, he didn't say you have to enjoy it.

Are they natural? I always assumed they were like that because of tooth decay or chip damage.

I used to have really f*cking long canines. I looked like a vampire. It was awesome.
Then I kept biting my own lip and it kept bleeding. I bit my brothers half to death, too. It was awesome.
Then they filed my canines down. Now they're normal sized. So not awesome.

Yep - not having them is technically unnatural, as it's the result of natural grinding/wear and tear over the years, though either having them or not having them. I imagine they evolved so your "adult" teeth grow through your gums more easily?
