The year is 2021, and it has long since been 1191, when the Assassin Altaïr recovered the piece of Eden from the Templar Al Mualim, thus sparking centuries of Assassins to come. The long war between Assassins and Templars still raged on into 2015, before the Assassins were seemingly wiped out. But in 2021, there came a new breed of Assassins. 7 warriors in arms began to appear everywhere, sending out a message. "We're coming home." All those who had lost hope knew that there was still a chance. This story focuses on that brotherhood of Assassins, as they are assigned the most crucial mission in the world - finish what their ancestors started all those years ago.

This roleplay is set in the usual modern location of Assassin's Creed (New York), only this time it's 2021. Hoever, even though it's 2021, does not mean there is all sorts of fancy futuristic tech. There is just the same kind of tech that is in Assassin's Creed. The only reason I put the year to 2021 is so there'd be at least
some kind of time gap between the roleplay's timeline and Desmond's timeline. The only real difference between 2021 and the usual AC 2014 is that in 2021 the Templars have advanced slightly with technology, and are currently in the revival and enhancement of Herne+ and the Angelus implant. That is why the roleplay genre is semi modern, semi sci-fi.

Since the so-called diminishing of the Assassin Order, the Templars managed to gain control of a lot of New York, and various other areas. Abstergo Industries has become like a social icon, and is the main supplier and representative for the city. They are now the mother company to many of the companies in and around the city, and are slowly branching out to foreign industries, too. The birth of Abstergo Entertainment wasn't quite a monumental event, but it did give the Templars a slight advantage. However, the Animus never really took off as a videogame console, solely due to the fact that barely anybody had any interest in historical games. Instead, gamers play videogames with subliminal messages planted in them. These messages were planted there in an effort to stop any rebellion that might cause the Assassin Order's growth in numbers, however many few Assassins there were left.

The uprising of the new Assassins is hard at first, due to the virtually unstoppable control the Templars have over the city and its inhabitants. It is up to them how they go about regaining the citizens' trust, and how they recruit those who have come to see the truth. Nothing is predetermined, it is all up to the way the players go about completing their mission.
So there you go guys! That's Heritage! I'm currently working on the interest check, I'll have it up within the next 2 hours if any of you want to join. (Yes, there will be more on the interest check.)
