Let's face some facts to start. Lately, the Resident Evil franchise has a severe case of "Franchise Fatigue". With the advent of RE: Revelations 2, we saw a brief glimpse into what new Resident Evil games should be. Gritty, disturbing, and, dependent on the difficulty setting, unforgiving. While not always the case with RE: Rev 2, it was significantly more scary and desperate than the shit-show that is RE6, which is ironic considering that Rev 2 was a spin-off. With all this said, some exciting news came to die-hard Resident Evil fans mid-August of this year. Resident Evil 2, widely regarded as the best out of the original three games, is getting a remake (hopefully, in the style of the original Resident Evil Remake). If all goes well, this may be the true return of Survival Horror that the franchise so desperately needs.

After replaying RE2, I felt that this scenario would make a good RP. The basic concept so far is that it would take place in Raccoon City almost immediately before the T-Virus Outbreak. As the RP progressed, the situation would escalate and become more dire. One thing that I want to drive home is that, we're not all Leon's or Claire's or Ada's or Sherry's; people are going to die. To counteract this, multi-characters are heavily encouraged.

Bitches, moans, complaints, let me hear what you all think in the comments. Thanks!!

I love Resident Evil. That being said, I'd join if I wasn't already part of a RE roleplay. Perhaps you'd like to join us? We are waiting for members to join before we start. Click Here

I've been looking for a good Resident Evil roleplay for quite some time. How would we deal with killing off characters? I'm not usually the best at managing multiple character narratives, so I'm kind of interested in that idea.
