Okay, before you jump the gun, let me at least explain!
As writers, we all try to improve in every area we possibly can. For some, it's world-building; for others, it's character development. For myself, however, I have always been weak in the area of graphic sex scenes. That's not to say that I don't know how to write them. Writing the acts are perfectly fine for me — to an extent. I won't go into the specifics due to the guild's Google Adsense, but just know when it comes to certain aspects of these scenes, I tend to fade-to-black. It's not like I want to, but I can't really help it sometimes. I don't know if it's my queasy stomach or if it's something else entirely, but it's something that I always try to improve.
Which brings me to this thread.
I'm not only looking for a collaborative partner, but a mentor/teacher of sorts. I'm looking for someone who is keen on the matters of erotica and doesn't mind helping a guy out with improving his skills in this specific area. Of course, I want to also, somehow without it being weird, be friends with this person, but I also want to be told if I'm doing alright, or if I should be going further with how much I'm doing. I want honesty. That meaning, if I'm doing something wrong, then I want my potential partner to tell me. Don't worry about hurting my feelings. I can take it.
Now, to the little things to know what I'm looking for specifically:
- Be over 18 please. I know this shouldn‘t go without saying, but you must be over 18. Considering the nature of the subject, I don‘t want to be responsible for some kind of kiddy getting into trouble from mommy or daddy cause I was having RP sex with their kid. Even if you‘re mature for your age, I would feel more comfortable if you were simply above the age of eighteen. Sorry.
- High Casual and Advanced Only. This has nothing to do with anyone who prefers the lower levels of casual and free, but for my own personal preferences, I require someone who can match my post length and detail(usually two, non-speech paragraphs at the least). I need someone who will be able to not only match me, but also challenge me to not only want to achieve quality, but quantity as well.
- Real Life Face Claims Only. This is nothing against those who prefer anime or character gallery images, but using real life images are a personal preference. They help me feel the realism of the sexual acts and the personalities coming through the characters. Some might not agree with that because those people often prefer anime face claims — and that’s fine for them — but for me, I can’t do anime face claims anymore. I must have them be real life people.
- Pms Only. This should go without saying, but due to the graphic nature of what I’m asking, Pms will be our format of doing this potential roleplay. I don’t hand out my email to people and I don’t like roleplaying on skype. Google Docs are too mean to my slow computer. So, Pms are the only format that will work best for us. Plus, in my honest opinion, they are the easiest to track when it comes to these types of roleplays.
- OOC Chatter is a Must. Considering what I’m requesting here, I need to be in constant touch with whomever takes this challenge. Whether it’s setting up the events in the story or simply to give me feedback, I need this to be a requirement. Just so we are clear beforehand, the initial PM will serve as our OOC chatter while another PM will serve as the IC. But yes, I will require my potential partner/mentor/teacher to be in frequent contact with me so that nothing is lost in translation.
- 70% Ero, 30% Plot. As much as I am sure most would not prefer it to be that way, but this will be mostly…intimate acts. Think of this akin to Fifty Shades. As much as it pains me to say it, that is the best example I have. There will be a set-up. There will be some plot. There will be secondary characters, but our mains, be it doubling or just the two of them, will mostly be engaging in sexual acts. It’s just to ensure that I’m getting what I’m requesting from this thread. On the mention of Doubling..
- Doubling. If it calls for it at sometime in the story, then yes, we will double. However, if it doesn’t, then I see no need to do so. We could just as easily have our main two characters be the stars of most of the PoV posts and leave it as that.
- MxM and FxF. Not saying that I’m opposed to that if it’s brought up, but ideally I’m looking for either a FxM or a MxF pairing. I would be open up for a discussion regarding the homosexual and lesbian ones. If you can convince me to go that route, then we will. But it’ll probably have to be something really intriguing.
- Setting. Modern with either no or little supernatural aspects. This is, again, my personal preference. I don’t dislike supernatural settings, but I would much rather this be akin to something like Fifty Shades. That meaning it having a realistic, non-supernatural feel to it.
- Character Ages. Okay this I really don’t give a damn about. Whether we go for middle-aged people, adults in their thirties, college students in late-teens to mid-twenties, or if we go high school students(no younger than 14 please. I’m not that flexible). As long as we achieve what I’m asking, age is only but a number. Hell, I wouldn’t be opposed to the 15+ age gap between characters. That brings me to my next one..
- Mommy and Daddy problems. These are scenarios that I honestly enjoy quite much. I have a lot of characters who often have mother or father issues, so it should be said that this wouldn’t be anything that would turn me off. In fact, in some cases, these are more appealing than two characters in the same age group(no more than 5 years apart). We can discuss this more when/if you pm me.
- Put some general info about yourself in your PM. Pretty much your age, kinks, interests, what pairings you’d be into, how you would like things to go, what your posting frequency is, and pretty much anything you want and/or think I would need to know. Try to be as detailed and specific with some of the stuff so that , like for the OOC chatter, nothing is lost in translation.
- Finally, this is supposed to be fun. Whether you see it as that, this is still going to be a roleplay. As such, we are supposed to have fun with this. Even though the subject is more adult than most, this is still going to be a fun time, so please try to enjoy yourself. I want to learn as much as I do to have fun with it.
