I really want to do a Dragon X Guardian roleplay. Not just an ordinary dragon rider roleplay. I have a few ideas as to how this could work exactly, and so, here they are.
1) In ancient times, Dragons existed. They were feared by humans. Dragons were the dominant race, being smarter and better than humans in every way. However, as the humans grew in intelligence, they grew in power. The humans evolved, they began to process magical abilities. These magical abilities allowed humans to 'sense' dragons. Some humans could bond with Dragons with a single touch. Some humans discovered that Dragon eggs would never hatch until the right person had come along. Other humans discovered that this magical ability was the perfect tool to slaughter all the dragons, including the Dragon King. War raged on, some humans created a group called the Dragon Knights, whose sole purpose was to protect the Dragons. They helped the Dragon King, and had very close relations with him. Although the Dragon Hunters kept coming, they were out numbering them easily. They managed to slaughter every single Dragon and destroy all the dragon eggs. Although, thanks to one of the Dragon Knights, one egg survived. It was the last remaining egg of the Dragon Queen. The Dragon Knights hid it and hoped that one day the Draclin would 'sense' it's human partner and inform them. Thousands of years went by, but nobody seemed to interest the Draclin. The Dragons became a myth, the Dragon Knights and Dragon Hunters were forgotten. Nobody knows if there are any still left alive. However, somewhere, the egg still remains. Waiting for it's human partner to come.
So, here, I would be playing the Dragon and you would be playing a human. What you do with your human is your choice, however they would not be a Dragon Hunter, nor would they be a Dragon Knight. They may know of the myth that Dragons existed, but there would be no evidence on it. I am thinking, that the human goes to an academy for to help learn magic which is where the egg is located.
What do you think? If not, then I could always think of something else.
