No Church in the Wild
-No sins as long as there’s permission-The Future
Science |ˈsīəns: is a systematic enterprise that creates, builds, and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe.
“Everything that we know and love is reducible to the absurd acts of chemicals,
and there is therefore no intrinsic value in this material universe.”
“If Science is God, then God loves Science.”
By year 3142, Science has replaced God. Science has become the social knowledge based phenomenon that replaced the human condition with mechanics, steam works, electricity, and valves for a more perfect universe. Humans now desperately thrive and exist in constant pursuit to rule the enemy, Time.
In order to defeat Time, humans have fastened themselves with machinery to help survive the Winter of Souls, Death. In fact, humans have begun defying gravity at a rapid rate with the technological advancements throughout their history. Humans are not only living longer, but are doing godless acts against nature (let your imagination run wild, it’s a jungle in here). Science became a shockwave that left ripples in the universe. Rules and Laws began breaking and ripping the Earth apart. Humans, with habits not known to the past, are being forced to leave and explore the galaxies in order to survive and culture their habits in a brave, new world, beyond the dust and stars of the Earth they have out lived.
There are new planets, new galaxies, new technologies, and new civilizations forming left and right. Likeminded people generally follow each other. Regardless of how vast and different the brave, new worlds are, they all have one thing in common: Science. As long as it is possible, it is the Truth
However, Murder is not a Truth.
And there are some humans who have difficulty abiding by the Truth. These people, as well, tend to travel together. They are known as Outlaws or Space Pirates.
Under the Space Pirate regime, that has been a bold rebellion to the scientific, lawlessness of the human race. With a bloody hand, the Space Pirate King rules from his rustic throne. Many pirates kill for the crown, but only one wears it. With enemies on both sides, some wonder if the Space Pirate King truly exists, but many have seen his invisible hand at work.
A pleasure for magic and the dark arts of tradition and occult have resurfaced amongst the Outlaws. Of course, that is not to say Science and Magic cannot compete. It is because of this, the Scientists and Space Pirates are at War.
The Space Pirates kill on sight, unless directed otherwise, but the Scientists never have permission to kill. It is for this Truth, that the Vigilante Scientists arose out of the darkness with the belief of Greater Good and began killing the Space Pirates when necessary.
It is up to you to choose the lesser of the two evils. Are you a Scientist, a Vigilante Scientist, or a Space Pirate? Choose wisely, because there can only be one winner.
We’ll make it out alive.
