EDIT: Just added fandom interests and some small notes here and there.
Well that's a long thread title.
Hey all, this is my first 1x1 interest check on the new forum. I've attempted some 1x1s in the past and have not had much success finding a partner so I'm hoping there's a better turnout here. I'm open to both males and females, but typically females for anything romantic. It's fairly uncommon for me to play a female character.
First off I only want people over 18 OOC. I enjoy having adult themes mixed in with my writing, be it due to sexuality or intense graphic violence. Nothing against you younger writers, I am simply more comfortable with the older folks :)
Second, bonus points if you happen to be another furry or furry enthusiast and would like to play with some anthro characters. I enjoy the broader range of facial expressions and the ability to use my OC. ^^
Okay, so here's a few plots I just jotted down off the top of my head. I am also open to ideas! I'm not looking for anything specific, these are just some samples of what a story I would write may be about. Keep in mind I generally do epic/high fantasy, meaning there's generally a lot of magic and monsters and fantastical stuff. I don't go easy on the creativity.
Fandoms I'm currently interested in:
Berserk
Warhammer 40k
Elder Scrolls
D&D (Forgotten Realms)
1. The Stormrider. Fantasy.
This story revolves around a rogue frigate-class naval ship that belongs to a group of treasure hunters, and the various adventures that branch out from their travels. It is my primary story arc, and holds a few of my OCs. If you're interested in this let me know! I want to have a small group eventually, but I like to start as a 1x1 to give characters an introduction and test people's writing skills.
The world setting doesn't have an official name yet, but it's one of my primary worlds to use for Roleplaying. It's where my main character is from. A world very much like earth, at least in the sense that there are major land-masses surrounded by ocean as well as smaller islands. The exact topology of the planet is vastly different. This is a very much sword and sorcery style world where lots of small governments control most of the civilized land. There are some minor steam-punk elements. (ex.there may be a working train or a few rare firearms.) Unlike earth, however, this world has an abundant amount of magic, and was built atop the ruins of an old civilization with secret and ancient power and tech that has been lost to time for reasons yet unknown. A lot of the land and sea is yet unexplored and filled with monsters and magical anomalies. There are mountains that move and forests that talk, oceans that float in the sky. It's a very dangerous and unpredictable world, full of old ruins and magical treasures. The monsters of the world are drawn to magic, however, and certain creatures even feed on it. These are usually violent and dangerous creatures, and it makes the job of any treasure hunter or explorer fraught with peril.
2. Umber. Fantasy. This one is a similar concept of a world built on the ruins of an old civilization. However, the twist to this planet is that it's rotation along its axis matches its orbit around the sun due to a very powerful enchantment cast in days long past. Thus one side of the planet is always sunny and the other is always dark. The only habitable zone is the Belt, which is essentially the equator between the two extremes, and it's an area of constant twilight. Two giant walls have been erected across the entire planet to keep both the extreme temperatures and the magically mutated creatures from both sides of the world at bay. The Belt spans oceans and rivers, houses being built on rafts and linked together to combat the overpopulation. The city suffers from rampant overpopulation and poverty, and there is a good deal of class warfare between the wealthy districts and the hordes of poorer citizens. There are a lot of thieves and cutthroats in the poorer districts, and while the wealthier areas of the city are safer, the nobles are greedy and constantly scheming to overthrow each other. There are groups that travel outside of the wall to the various biomes of the outside world, which are all extremely harsh and dangerous. I have a lot of these biomes written up but I don't want to go into too much detail These adventurers seek out ancient treasures to turn a profit, or use the artifacts to gain power and social standing within the Belt.
3. Merge. Sci-fi/fantasy.
This one I call Merge. It's a sci-fi induced fantasy world.
Beings from another reality have exhausted all of their universe's natural resources, so in order to keep their species and indeed, their entire universe alive they create a machine capable of forcing two separate universes, two realities, into a single universe. Well, our universe eventually gets merged with this ever-expanding reality, creating what can basically be perceived on a planetary level as an apocalypse. The other versions of earth are different and as they are mixed with the present one it causes massive geological changes and even some of the rules of the universe are re-written. This one is basically about surviving in the new world, where there are alien creatures, monsters, magic, and a ruling universal superpower comprised of a species that controls the entire universe. So there's a pretty good chance for an attempted revolt against the aliens that created the Merge machine. I haven't had a chance to RP this story just yet.
These are just really basic outlines of some of my stories.
