I'm not getting notified when someone mentions me. I probably have it turned off in some setting somewhere. I'll try to find it when it's not 4am. Until then, sorry for any slow responses.
Dang. It's been a while since I last posted here. I've brushed some dust off and updated my first post. Take a gander and let me know if anything interests you.
Been gone for a while and World has been awesome. Picked up Gen Ultimate and now I'm back and looking to start typing again. Anyone interested in picking this up? I'm still feeling good vibes with this plot.
Appearance: Fair skinned and almost frail looking, she prefers stay out of the spotlight. She opts to wear skirts and dresses whenever possible, though her combat attire consists of fitted pants and a tanktop covered by a waist-length jacket. While it's not her favorite outfit, she wears it by request.
Hair Color: Dirty Blonde Eye Color: Pale Violet Aura Color: Pale Blue
During Semblance Hair Color: Auburn Eye Color: Bright Orange Aura Color: Light Red
Background: On the day she was born, her family was struck with immediate tragedy. Lilac's mother was expecting twins, one girl and one boy. Lilac and Lavender. However, only Lilac drew breath on that first day. Lavender was stillborn, lost before he was given a chance. It was a mournful day, but one worth celebrating. They still had a living child, and Lilac's parents loved her very much. As she grew older, she decided to train to become a Huntress. It came as no surprise to her parents, and they sent her to the best fighting schools in Atlas. It was very quickly learned that Lilac had a very weak Aura, and no one thought she would ever get accepted into the Atlas Academy, but all of that changed when her Semblance awakened.
Weapon: Stargazer, Dainslaif, and Blackpearl.
Dainslaif normally takes the shape of a short sword that hangs from a belt worn around the user's waist. It houses a pistol in its hilt with the trigger positioned just under the cross guard. Blackpearl is a rather hefty looking block of metal with a short handle jutting out of one side and a recessed barrel on the other. Normally carried like one would carry a backpack, some might call it a hammer, or even a mallet, but it mostly looks and acts like the head of a maul. While heavy and unbalanced, it strikes with tremendous force when swung and houses an explosive shotgun lined up with the handle with the trigger easily within reach. Both weapons, while sufficient on their own, become much more effective when paired with Stargazer. Stargazer, unlike the other two, is more of a tool than a weapon and does not do much on its own besides function as a telescope. Held as a short cylindrical rod measuring only six inches in length, it is very compact when not in use. However, the rod can reach nearly six feet long when fully extended. It carries the ability to connect to the handle of either Dainslaif or Blackpearl, though only one at a time, and greatly increases their melee reach and ranged strength and accuracy. When connected with Stargazer, Dainslaif gains a much more powerful projectile, reaching a caliber much closer to that of a long range rifle. Blackpearl and Stargazer gain the opposite effect, trading long range capabilities for short range. The weighty head of Blackpearl can separate, unfold, and flatten along the length of Stargazer to form the blade of a great sword, balancing out the weapon and adding a razor sharp cutting edge.
Semblance: Alter Ego While her brother was lost before they were even born, his soul lived on. Clinging to his sister even after his body died. The two souls merged into one, though separated by their own auras. Lilac's aura, while very weak, is the key to unlocking her Semblance. Once her aura runs out and her Semblance triggers, Lavender's aura kicks in. In contrast to Lilac's nature, when Lavender takes over, so does his soul. Controlling his sister's body as his own until her aura can recover. He has a much more powerful aura, and despite rarely being in control, he knows everything his sister has learned and has his own preferences in combat.
Symbol: A grey sword and hammer crossed in front of a white starburst.
While suffering during the wait for Monster Hunter World's PC release, I got a rather odd idea for an RP. The premise is fairly simple, your character is an accomplished hunter of a remote village. Think high rank. In top of rumors about a powerful Elder Dragon in the area, the guild offers a quest to capture a very different type of monster. My character has gone rogue, ignoring the rules set by the Hunter's Guild, and poaching monsters with no regard for the ecosystem. Your character sets out to capture mine, and once apprehended, bring them to justice. Of course, on the way back, the Elder Dragon attacks the airship. It crashes in a G rank area and our chatacters must work together to survive, perhaps even learning something from each other along the way.
This RP would be action focused for the most part, but I also have an odd craving for some light romance if it makes sense. MxF or FxF only. I can play as male or female, but I'm leaning more towards female for this one. We can add extra characters into the mix if you want as well.
We could even schedule out some live hunts in game to add some extra fun to it. Let me know what you think.
