Being a siren, she is naturally obsessed over her looks and general health, making her seem narcissistic at times.
She makes up for this, however, in her kind and generous personality. She loves to playfully joke around with her fans and strongly dislikes violence, making her the peacekeeper whenever an argument breaks out. She's very outgoing and likes to spend her time around different types of people, as she finds the possibility of so many mixes of personalities highly interesting.
History
"Since I was little, I was always taught by my mother to never leave the side of my guardian and to hold my assigned pearl at birth close to me. I later found out that this pearl was bonded to me and was the source of my life and power. Without it,
I would die. This is why I was also assigned a guardian, to protect my life, as sirens were in danger of extinction back then. I had high hopes of becoming a famed singer and actor, which as you can see, worked out very well for me. My parents were happy when I earned a scholarship and over the years, my relationship with my guardian grew. I eventually nicknamed her Mist.
Then, hunters came to the area of the ocean we lived in. I was at university with Mist at the time and they had dismissed their guardians years ago, so when the hunters came to their home, they stole their pearls and killed them both. May their magic still be in the mighty ocean. I was depressed for months when I got the news and my guardian did her best to comfort me. In that time, we grew even closer,
and I discovered I had fallen in love. We treated our newfound romance gently, like a budding rose. I continued my studies and eventually got to the point I am at right now, Mist still by my side."
Powers/Abilities
Fish physiology, aquatic adaption, enhanced senses and beauty, speed swimming, beacon emission and mind control. Her voice uses the last two. She can also freely split her tail into legs if she so chooses and can breathe and walk above water with no issues.

She likes to read and learn new things, as she had a very sheltered childhood. She also likes sweet things and prefers tea over coffee. Even though she's a siren, she has a dislike towards seafood. Currently in a relationship with Mist.

She's a very 'by the book' person, sticking to the rules of what she is supposed to do and to what is classically considered as 'good' and 'bad' closely. She's also well-disciplined and strict, like most guardians. Mist almost never shows her emotions through her actions and most of what she says and does is influenced by her species, as they're largely military-focused. She often softens up and becomes kinder around Hyeon-Ju, for obvious reasons.
History
"I've followed after Hyeon-Ju for the entirety of my existence. Her past is mine. Of course, there was other mermaids before her, but she's the most recent mermaid in...a long time. I was quite surprised when I found out she harboured feelings towards me, though. I suspect most mermaids do fall for their guardians and most guardians do for their mermaids as well. I had never experienced this before. I had to look deep inside of me to discover I had the same feelings and that moment was difficult, for both of us. Still, I don't regret one moment of it. I will be with my pearl until the day she turns to foam, and then we shall still be together in the ocean."
Powers/Abilities
Enhanced senses, precognition, enhanced endurance, holy fire manipulation and limited teleportation. She also has experience in multiple forms of combat and weapons and is much stronger than the average person.
Theme song
She has often a voice similar to the high pitched one in the background of the main singer in the chorus, if you can hear it. It's soft and lulling, but can turn firmer if in dire situations.

Guardians are always assigned to mermaids at birth. They are often the same gender as the mermaid they are assigned to. They are summoned by the parent/s of the child, so it is possible abandoned children may not have guardians. Only the child's parents know a guardians' name. A guardian's true name holds all of their power. One cannot destroy, dismiss or command a guardian to go outside of it's basic job of protecting unless if the person who wished to do so has it's true name. They die when the one they are assigned to protect is dead, or if they're slain. This stops the guardian from going insane. If their magic is still pure, they may be used again for another mermaid. The transition is often jarring, as one minute some may be dying, then the next they're back with another child. Others can experience a feeling akin to floating in the void, for a couple of seconds to many years. This is only encountered if the guardian can still be used, but there are no parents requesting the formation of one. Guardians need no form of food or water and exist solely on magic. If the parents who summoned them die, they can still live on. She's in a relationship with Hyeon-Ju.
