Sybilla was irked about the date comment, but she brushed it off as she walked towards the shuttle following the two Ascendents into the back of the ship. Instead of sitting like the two others, she instead opened the hatch to the cockpit. It was empty of people and she knew that one of them would have to fly it. Looking at the others, she knew none of them had been trained to pilot. That other monk probably had but there was something about him that Sybilla was not comfortable letting him being the only thing between her and the ground.
“I guess that just leaves me to pilot this thing,” she muttered to herself, sighing. She plopped down into the pilot’s seat, buckling herself in and tightening the straps. Turning around when she was situated, she shouted at the two who had not made it into the ship yet: “Hurry it up back there!”
