All right I want to clear something up. I chose the title character from reynard the Fox, a tale manly about the complaints the other animals have on the Fox. As for him being on earth, in the original text raynard is a noble and though I have little knowledge of what's going on I see that people are getting sent to earth for reasons and stuff. Now the king lion in the original was kind and fairly forgiving, if we bend these stories a bit I would guess that in this case the king lion woulda been a bit less so. He's the hero o' the tale, and better then his pears. I would figure that the king of the animals wouldn't have been the kind lion, but instead someone like scar. If scar was in charge, e' woulda taken the side of his faithful and dumb flunky the wolf. The whole thing mite have been staged, and reynard went to earth during his first problem because he couldn't charm scar. His life as a charismatic ruffian wouldn't have changed much on the streets of Brooklyn.
